Had another plumbing company tell me my water heater system needed to be replaced and quoted me a price. I then contacted the Plumbing Doc based on a recommendation for a 2nd opinion/quote. Informing them that I had been w/out hot water for a week (while waiting for the previously mentioned to finally show up), they promptly sent Isaac to my house after my call. Isaac did a very thorough inspection and told me the burner assembly and gas control valve were non-op and needed replacing but not the entire water heater system. Since I was expecting to replace the entire system, and told him such upon arrival, I appreciated the honesty and booked the job. The repair was promptly attended to, full explanations given, and also noticeable was the clean up upon finish. Senior Discount also applied. The Plumbing Doc fell from five stars to two in less than a year, and I cannot recommend them anymore. Their previous service-champion has left the company, and the poor substitutes that the Doc sent out the last time we called on this company lied to us, tried to upsell, and then overcharged us anyway despite following their estimate exactly. We paid them onsite to get rid of this company, but the office ignored my complaints after the fact, so for my next call in 2025, I found another plumber (see my other review if you need one now). read more

Wow! I'd advice anyone dealing with these guys to make sure it's a male. Rick the owner screamed at me and told me "F $@ Y$#!" We had a leak fixed they created a new one , they returned and fixed, and within minutes our backflow was leaking. They returned and the recommendation was buy the part ourselves or ask a lawn guy to fix it. They aren't licensed for it. WHAT! Like why did I just pay$165 literally for nothing. Now turned into a $1000 fix that I have to call ANOTHER plumber for! The leak wasn't there the hour before they fixed it. I was told the owner would call. The formen Zack called he was so condescending. Talked to me as if he wasn't a professional AT ALL. Owner gets on the phone and immediately YELLS "YOU'RE GOING TO LISTEN TO ME!" I was floored that a grown man that owned a business would talk to a female this way. I'm old school and this wouldn't have flyed 20 years ago. I told him not to speak to me that way even my husband doesn't talk like that...then he SCREAMS "F%$K Y$U!" After calling back he claimed I cussed at him to cover up his craziness. I would have NEVER stooped so low as to cuss. Insane...I pray if anyone uses them that everything goes 100% correct and NEVER let your wife be alone or conversate with them. The list begins...I had a leaky shower then my sink plug broke then the toilet wouldn't stop running. I called a couple places on Saturday to fix the toilet. One never called back after I left a detailed message regarding my problem. The second was busy and wasn't sure he could get to me that day. No problem. Thanks for being honest. I turned the water off to that toilet and put off calling until Monday. I read a bunch of reviews from my fabulous fellow Yelpers and decided to call the Plumbing Doc. I called this morning. Got an appt scheduled between noon and 1 and added a water heater flush to my list of fixes. Got a confirmation text for 1 pm, but the guys showed up at 1130...WHAT?! I don't think I've ever been on the early end before. Toilet, check. Sink, check. Shower, check. Until the shower head shot off and almost killed my plumber. That wasn't even on the list! He offered to go get me a new one. Awesome! Water heater? Omg! 20 years old. Only supposed to live for 10. Time for a replacement. The family was using the showers one after the other one morning and we slowly realized that our water was running cold. After checking out the water heater and trying to reset the pilot light a few times only for it to keep going off, we realized we needed some help. Given the fact we have teen girls, we needed help ASAP. It was the day before a holiday so we had someone respond and check things. They couldn't fix it without ordering a part or replacing the whole heater, which was really old anyways, so we decided to think on it and not pay holiday rates. We paid our fee for the day and had them respond the following non holiday weekday. The same plumber came out, he was super friendly and brought an assistant to replace our 40 gallon to a 50 gallon slightly more efficient model than our old one. I called Plumbing Doc for a free quote for them to check the leaks in my bathroom sinks, toilets in both bathrooms, stoppers for my bathtub, and the possible leaks in my water heater. I gave their company my house key because I work during the weekdays and they don't open weekends. The plumber told me that my water heater was too old and needed a replacement. He also quoted me a price for the stoppers. He called me after he left and I agreed to those quotes. When I asked him about the bathroom sink leaks, he said he forgot to check and went back to my house. He said there was one leak and that he fixed it. When he came back to replace my water heater and fixed my stoppers, he forgot to check the leaks again. Luckily, he called me while he was there. He said he fixed that leak already and it's no longer leaking. When I came back, to check my bathroom sinks, it was still leaking. Not sure if the plumber really missed it or just did not want to admit that he did not know how to fix it. I did not appreciate that they left their trash in my garage. However, they did a good job with replacing my water heater and fixing the stoppers though. The water heater was securely strapped. Wish they were open on weekends, so I didn't have to take a day off. read more

The handle to the closed water shutoff valve broke while I was doing some DIY repairs leaving the house without water. The Plumbing Doc staff quickly sent Jerimiah to assess the situation and to give us a quote for repair. Jerimiah was there quickly, did a temporary bypass so that water flow was restored, and gave us a very fair quote for a permanent fix. Later that day we accepted the quote and again the office staff quickly scheduled Jerimiah to return the next day to do the job. Everyone was extremely professional, courteous, and understanding. Jerimiah did excellent work! Too bad there are only five stars in the rating. The staff and Jerimiah deserve ten! read more

Had some work done , toilets weren't flushing well and sink was leaking. They came in, got everything installed very quickly. Had a minor issue with the toilet install and sink caulking but as soon as I let the owner know he was willing to have someone out that same day. They came back out , got it all sorted. We went ahead and hired these people to re-pipe my house and I was extremely disappointed. Not only were they very loud, making several gagging noises and shouting but also were very messy leaving dry wall dust on my furniture. They also came to work on the first day smelling like pot and were constantly smoking in my front yard. And with the little time they spent on the re-pipe I can imagine there will be problems on the future, I would discourage anyone from using this company. read more

They Came out with intentions to cut out a snake that a (different plumbing company) got stuck in my line and planned on jackhammering my floor up and re-piping my sewer line. Had all the pipes in my house replaced with PEX. The tear down and plumbing was fine. They worked around my messy house and only had to turn the water off for a few hours. To access some of the plumbing the drywall and external wall had to be cut open. The repair was included in the job. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else for drywall/stucco. Patches of drywall under the sinks not repaired. The outside stucco isnt supported correctly, if you push a little the wall the stucco moves. Old supply valves not cut off. Dishwasher had to be removed and wasn't reinstalled correctly. One guy repairing the walls came out for 2-3 days patching the drywall. But the job was taking too long so the first guy had to "go to another job", and they sent the second string subcontractor. 2nd guy came out and poorly patched one side of the external wall and completely missed the other side. (Like a huge 8'x2' hole). I had to call back twice to see if they were going to come back and complete the job. A bunch of small details that kept being missed. To their credit, the issues I found while they were doing the job, they fixed promptly. Tl:dr: overall did a decent job on pipes, hire someone else to fix the holes. Also... I suppose I never thought about it. But some of my tools were taken from my garage and used. They weren't stolen or anything. Just used. I suppose it's not a big deal, but they never asked. It was more odd than anything. read more

So much so, I had to turn off my water to stop from having a high water bill. -Called at 8am and the technician was there just before 9!! On a Saturday keep in mind!!! Fast response time!! Called other places and they couldn't come until Monday! Jarred was polite and got right to work!! All the digging and going to get parts needed to fix the issue only took 2 hours to fix!!! After he left, realized my water pressure was a little off. Called back and 30 minutes later Jarred came back to fix my water! $297 for a positive experience! I would never recommend this service to anyone. We called in the plumber for an emergency during night hours and during the visit, he went out to what i assumed was to get a tool, but after waiting about 30 minutes, I found him asleep in his car. He then told me they could not fix it until Monday. When I called on Monday, I asked if they had the part to fix it, if not - i would need to call someone else because it was urgent. The manager, Rick, then told me that he didnt like my attitude, told me to call someone else and hung up on me. I called him back to try explain I was just trying to be sure because I could not wait for the 1pm appointment to find out if they could fix it, but Rick hung up on me again. The bright side I suppose is that they said they would not charge me for the first night where the man fell asleep. But an awful experience. read more

Received a referral for this company from a family member, but we were not satisfied with the service. We had dripping showers in 2 restrooms. The guys came to review the work that needed to be done but spent more time on the road than the actual project. We discussed installing new handles, but that did not happen. On top of that ,the rings that go around the knobs were not glued back down, and we had to finish the rest ourselves after paying a pretty penny. The only positive is that the showers are no longer dripping. Long story short. Wish we would have received the 5 star treatment that I see in the comments. read more
