Michael and Brandon came out and were extremely professional, showed up on the scheduled time and remedied our problems with our tankless water heater. I've called them out twice for work. Once was a small clog. It took 2 hours and 2 people for 100 dollars to fix. No biggie, they were really nice. The plumbers that come out ARE NOT the problem. It's the owner that tries to up the prices extremely. Next time I had a gas leak. Shut off from pge. They came out, told me they didnt have the tools to find it after I had told them what was wrong. Couldnt find the leak, so they told me I would have to change all the pipes for 10,000! I found out later we didnt need all the pipes even. Called another company...$700 later for a couple of fittings and 4 hours of his time, and PGE turned us back on no problem. The prices are crazy. read more

Update 12/16/17 Another wonderful experience with this company! Came home from work tonight at 7pm to see our water heater was leaking, gave the plumbing doc a call and they had someone out within the hour. By 9pm on a Saturday night my leak was fixed! Love this company and they were very affordable. Thank you to Savannah the plumber that came out. I can't say enough good things about the plumbing doc. Last Easter when my water heater sprung a leak they came out quickly and didn't charge me up the ying yang for coming out on a holiday and a weekend, they only charged me the extra rate for coming on a weekend. I was in the process of cooking a large turkey and was stressing out beyond belief when I walked into my garage and saw it flooded, they were out within an hour and seriously turned my day around, I can't thank them enough for their efficiency and quick arrival. Today, I had them come out to install our new toilet and found out that our line was overrun with roots. Once again they did an amazing job by locating the problem, finding a missing drain cap that had been allowing roots direct access to our water lines, and replacing it. After they left we noticed that the toilet was the slightest bit loose, (this is after6pm), they offered to come back out right away to fit it. This company has had beyond wonderful customer service, answered all my questions when I was trying to figure out what toilet to get, and have just gone above and beyond, thank you so much for all your help! read more

Looked thru Yelp Reviews and Google Reviews. 5 stars abound. Read up on owner Rick Clemmons training and background(which were actually extensive). Rick sent Expert Plumber Cody and his apprentice Skigh to our home. It was a 3 hours job. Not easy. For our home was built early 1960. Lots old style pipes, fittings. They were very smart and skilled. Did an excellent job. I can say they are very friendly natured. I sense Honesty in everything they did. Price I feel was reasonable. They also needed to get special plumbing parts from a supply house. I can't say enough how satisfied we were. Thank you Yelp for helping us find The Plumbing Doc. Like other Yelpers say. Our first service call from The Plumbing Doc went smoothly and the plumbing issue was resolved professionally. But our second visit was a completely different experience. Technician showed up and started inspecting the cause of the problem. My guess is that he was having a bad day because he had a foul attitude. His communication was rude and continued to verbally complain about my property and the condition in a very unprofessional tone. Long story short, he told me he couldn't get his snake from the roof because of the size of the pipe. But he assured me that by removing the toilet, the problem would be fixed. After it was all said and done, the drains were still clogged and I now have a toilet that's been removed. The technician continued to speak to everyone very rudely, including his partner, and basically left my property without even re-installing the toilet that he had removed. When I asked if he was going to re-install it, he told me that they don't re-install toilets. I have never heard of a plumber who would come out, diagnose your problem, tell you he needs to remove your toilet to do the job, then leave everything as is when he's unsuccessful in unclogging it. After he left, we received two invoices- One for accessing it through the roof, and another for removing the toilet. Not only was the problem not resolved, he left the toilet sitting there and my tenants confused as to what was going on with the plumber leaving without finishing or at least putting things back to how they were before he arrived. If he was displeased with the condition of my property, he could respectfully decline the job and left. The rude and condescending remarks were unprofessional and unnecessary. Additionally, if you're going to proceed with the job, then I would appreciate some common courtesy. Rather than speaking to everyone as if you had been forced to be there. Needless to say, our company reached out to the owner to explain the situation and to dispute the charges- but have not received a response. Coincidentally, we received a visit from the local city code enforcement today. When he arrived, he was requesting to inspect specifically the back alley, which just happened to be exactly where the plumbing technician had been complaining about when he came out. The inspector then told us that the inspection was due to a complaint and anonymous call. I'm not saying this had anything to do with the Plumbing Doctor technician, but it's highly suspicious that the inspector would show up less a week after their visit. read more

I have to practice what I preach, so here i go from one contractor to another. I cannot really tell you the actual issue cause Im embarrassed that i could not figure it out myself. Our hot water system turned off and was leaking. During the week,Jan 6th(or 7th) I called. Here is the timeline: 3:05 pm - Called, spoke with a very nice lady gave my info and the issue and was told someone would be on site in 30 mins 3:25 pm - Jarred knocks on my door, introduces himself. and he starts the inspection. During the inspection Jarred is explaining how the systems works, why it might be off, how the warranty works, the cost associated with the repair and all in lingo my wife can I can understand. Not his first time explaining this to homeowners. Very friendly, but professional. I liked that the truck was very clean, and the uniform, while yes it was dirty from the work day, there is though put in to a least look like a professional service provider. Which Jarred is. 3:45 pm - Issue is corrected and water heater is back on 3:50 pm - I have a work order to confirm the work was completed, I have an invoice to e-sign, with record/copy emailed to me. All paperless. So, the whole ordeal was 45 mins long. That kind of effort take serious planning and consideration by the leadership and support staff, so great job and last but not least, very impressed with the technology used to complete the paperwork, and your service professional Jarred. read more

So I called this company to get my kitchen sink unclogged about 12:30 pm. The receptionist told me that she can have a guy come over about 4. I thought I would have to wait the next day, and so I was happy. What made it even better, Tim, shows up 15 mins til. Tim was professional, loved his job (company), and very informative. He pretty much gave me an earful of Dont's, which I think was great. And Do's as well. He ran the proper equipment not like the previous plumber I had called years ago. Tim told me so (the snake used was for a bath tub). Problem fixed and now I have some Dont's to consider while using the sink thanks to Tim. Pricing is very reasonable also. Great guys. I can't sing their praises enough. They are more expensive than some other plumbers but i URGE you to think twice before picking the cheaper plumber like i did the last time. ***I hired another plumber at first to get a rather easy non emergency job done, well this other guy took a 5 hour lunch, tried to charge it to me saying that it was time spent acquiring the pipe i needed. He claimed he had to go to Delano to get the pipe; get this that specialtiy pipe can be found at ANY in town lowe's or Home depot because i checked while he was away on his 5 hour break. I used to work in the plumbing department i know the inventory. When that bozo came back he messed with my water heater when i wasn't looking and tried to charge me to FIX IT! the nerve of that other guy, and im sure this is pretty typical in the plumbing industry just like the automotive industry.*** Moral of the story is if you DON"T know your away around pipes, you wan't someone you can trust who won't try to rip you off, you want someone honest you can trust to visit your home where you and your family sleep... I called the Plumbing Doc at about 12:30 am because my mom decided to install the filter in my refrigerator. And as a result, the refrigerator was leaking from below and when she opened the bottom drawer, water was gushing out. I immediately looked for a 24 hour plumber online and the Plumbing Doc was available. He told me I needed to shut the valve off in order to stop the leaking. He walked me through the steps to find the valve. Once, I was able to turn it off, the refrigerator stopped linking. He was very patient and calm on the phone and didn't charge me anything. Nobody likes having plumbing problems. Who do you call? How much is it going to cost? I decided to go to YELP and find plumbers with good reviews. With several five star ratings, The Plumbing Doctor, was my first choice to call. I'm glad it did because Tim is such a good, seemingly caring guy with 11 years experience. I have an older home that was in need of several maintenance repairs. Tim found all the right parts to upgrade my older ones. He fixed leaks that should help with my attempts at water conservation and lowering my monthly water bill. He also made suggestions for future services but was not pushy about it. Tim would also call me to let me know his time frame and to keep me posted on progress. I will definitely call The Plumbing Doctor again. PS Tim's helper, Brandon, was a nice guy too. Turned out I had a much bigger issue with my tub and he was able to schedule me the next day to get it fixed. I contacted plumbing doctor to do an inspection for the whole house, not only were they 1 1/2 hours late but they failed to communicate with me that they were going to be late. I had to call them to ask if they were still coming. When I scheduled my appointment I spoke with a lady who told me that the cost for general inspection would be $190 and if I need cameras it would be an additional $100. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday and the lady never mentioned any additional fees for weekend calls. She also mentioned that it would be an hour for inspection and about another hour for camera inspection. The plumber johnny spent less than an hour here and was rushing the whole time it seemed like he was late yet again for his next appointment. After completing the home inspection he gave me a bill of over $500 for inspection which did not include any kind of labor. I then communicated with him that I was given a different quote over the phone, he then contacted the administrator office who apparently told him to give me a $100 discount. I ended up paying $150 more because they fail to communicate with me the correct costs when I first call them, this is unacceptable. I then contacted the office and Rick or some other guy answered the phone and he was very unprofessional did not apologize for the miscommunication or said he would address it and the only thing he said was that it might have been a new girl who gave me the wrong information. As a business owner/manager you have to take ownership. I checked the toilet after the plumber left and there was a leak from one of the valves he left open so I had to fix it myself yet again another example of him rushing. Johnny told me I had a loose diverter and a bad shower spout and would need to drill in the wall to fix it. Yet again another lie, I've contacted another licensed plumber the next day and he said I did not have to do that and fix the issue right there and then. Then, after the plumber left he said I would get an invoice within 30 minutes, but did not get anything so I had to call them because they had not sent me any anything after 2 hours which was very frustrating. The customer service and lack of professionalism and lying to customers about prices , I will not be moving forward in completing plumbing labor with this company. The invoice was also very disrespectful, the plumber or whomever took it upon themselves to include in the recommendations " smile" . This is out of line and completely disrespectful to your customers. The lack of transparency with prices, unprofessionalism, bad customer service I will not recommend this business to anyone. I work in human resources, and as a professional this is unacceptable behavior. Please address this issue with your team. read more

Called them out to fix a loose spigot on a fiberglass tub. Ricky and Michael came out within an hour, looked at it and got it done. Lifted the tub,I was worried about that, but the were very careful with the tub. tightened the spigot, with new hose, and gaskets. Very good price. Lower than other estimates I called. One they cancelled and two others required having them to come out to make corrections. The finish work was less than what one would expect and I had to re-do myself. These guys are professional and very very good. I had to recipe my whole house because of multiple floods caused by rusting galvanized copper pipes .They hesitantly gave me discount because I had some competing bids which were lower but I talked to them because they fixed 2 of the previous leaks and did the job promptly during the weekend without hassle. They agreed to do the work at the same price what another company quoted. I was kinda concerned that they might compromise the work because of the discount. But my concerns were baseless. The plumbers did an excellent work. I scrutinized there work and it was flawless . Besides the plumbers were very nice and respectful. One day our cat ran away . My wife was devastated. It was not their fault. The can ran away before these guys show up. They almost halted the work to help out trying to find the cat. It showed up later. I was very grateful for their professionalism , kindness and respect of their customer. I give them 5 star and recommend them very highly .
