I wrote a very long detailed review about this boutique and the threading place inside the boutique. For some reason they flagged my review and took it down because it had "nothing to deal with the boutique" but in fact i had a problem with both the boutique and threading place located inside.. Here's my original review. I been coming here for a couple of months now to get my eyebrows threaded. I've always had a good experience but today was quite the opposite to say the least ****NOTE:!!!!! EVEN IF YOU SCHEDULE an appt they will still serve people before you that don't have one. ( why give us the option to schedule an appointment if your going to serve walk ins before appointments)..*** NOW let's get to the other issues that I have.. I came in and there was a lady that came and sat down to get her eyebrows threaded. One of the workers offered the lady a cup of coffee while she was waiting, being super sweet to her while I'm sitting there getting the cold shoulder (no one said hi when i walked in or offered a cup of coffee while i was standing right there.. not that i NEED to be greeted or offered coffee, it's the principle) I just shrugged it off.. ***Now this review is for the eyebrow place..*** When arriving to my appointment someone was being helped out which is fine because my appointment isn't till 11:30 and it's only 11:26.. So I went over to the sign-in book, signed my name and put down all the information they need : name, phone number , appointment (yes or no) .. While filling out the information I saw that I was the only appointment. After the person was done it's now 11:33, so I'm thinking it'll be my turn since my appointment was at 11:30am and i was the only appointment. Instead the lady that was sitting in the chair waiting then went over to get her eyebrows done and i was told to sit in the seat and wait.. again whatever I'll wait... So now the worker that had offered the lady (that's now getting her eyebrows done) coffee came over and asked her and another lady their names, saying she would love to get to know the people coming in more often.. As I'm right there next to her, she doesn't ask me anything or even talk to me. She was being inviting, warm and friendly towards these ladies while seeing me right there and not saying a word (mind you, she saw me and looked at me) i don't know if this was a race thing or if I was not properly dressed?? ( i was wearing sandals, shorts and a shirt... didn't matter before) If your going to talk and be friendly with all the other customers around me then rude to me a person of color? Really?? I'm happy for the people that have an awesome experience and get treated correctly. However, for me this bad experience was enough to completely turn me off supporting this boutique/store. read more

Listen to this: Today, I found/bought a dress that suited my style. Apparently, this was insufficient spending at the Pomegranate boutique. I did not agree on an item that my teen wanted ($86 for a simple cotton frock) and wow did the staff "stock it to me" with the nasty commentary to pit my teen against me, as if I deserved that!! My teen made a rude remark of: "she's from Tennessee, in case that matters". To my horror, staff at this boutique responded "YES, it does". I suppose to suggest I'm some southern hick who has no sense of style??? Despite the fact that I've lived in CA more of my life than my birth state AND I was a clothing model (don't judge), in my youth. While my teen may patronize this place once they have a job and can afford it, I will never be back again. I let staff know, as I walked out, that I did not appreciate their insulting attitudes towards me. Outrageous & inexcusable. I do not know who owns this place but your Saturday 4:00 duo is not impressing anyone except spoiled teens who have no funds to make a purchase. read more

I had the pleasure of bringing an out of town friend into the shop yesterday. We had THE MOST FUN with the ladies at the boutique. Anna and the team styled my friend and treated her with good old fashioned top notch service that doesn't seem to exist like this anymore. The specialized care and pure joy of the staff shined bright. This experience means more than they'd ever know. I watched my friend's confidence transform before my eyes. Walked in to get my eyebrows done, waited and finished. Was waiting to pay and there were two woman who worked on the pomegranate side talking. I was looking at the woman with the dark brown hair and admiring her outfit. She looked very pretty, and I was going to tell her I liked her style and then stops talking to her co worker and looks over at me and then back at her co worker and said "this bitch keeps staring at me". I have shopped here many times and will never come back. How disrespectful & rude for a woman to speak out loud about another woman, let alone I was a customer. I wouldn't recommend this business at all. Very unprofessional, rude, disgusting. Definitely lost my business. read more

After grabbing a cup at World Travelers, I stumbled across this cute boutique/collab beauty space called Together. It's really a co-op for small women owned businesses to come together. It's a great concept. But on this day, I was drawn to the Pomegrante Boutique portion of the space. I am a mom of small children and my body has been through some thangs. This boutique understands that and says "you can have kids and still look trendy and cute too!" Everything they got is so much fun. They have one of a kind dusters made with upcycled sari's and other pieces made from upcycled vintage clothing. The first kaftan I put on was a red silk piece and it just fell on my body so well. I not only loved the unique and gorgeous color. But it felt good to wear this piece. It made this mama feel pretty gorgeous. If you just recently emerged from this thing called early motherhood and have no idea where to begin, Araxia and crew are kind and able to style you in something that looks good on your body. They are good at reading if you need the space or want some suggestions. Customer service is really unique here. They get to know you and it feels more like you are raiding your friend's closet who happen to have a boutique. When I saw a piece I really liked but they were out of my size. Araxia was really responsive to my DMs and purchased more pieces in the size I requested. Then let me know when it was here. If you are looking something special for yourself. One of the cutest shops downtown! The space is just adorable. Everyone working there is so friendly and accommodating. I've been shopping there since it's opening. Whether i need comfy pregnancy / postpartum mom clothes or a nice dress for a wedding this place is my go to. In fact i even bought a beautiful pearl white silk dress that i used as my elopement wedding dress! It was perfect. No matter what you're looking for the staff will help you find something you'll love and feel great in. The quality of clothes is evident, all at a reasonable price! I've acquired quite a collection over the years: shorts, pants, dresses, scarves, cardigans, shoes i mean you name it. Cute little spot smack dab in Midtown! It blows my mind how many boutiques are in Sac that I haven't even heard of! Wandered past Pomegrante and popped in. Unique styles for sure - think ModCloth with a funkier twist. The customer service was superb - I was even offered a mimosa while I shopped. Sadly, I didn't end up buying much due to the prices. Can't drop $60 on a top but if you can, definitely worth exploring the small shop. Support local businesses y'all! read more

Absolutely LOVE this boutique! I was walking downtown with my friend when we saw the cute clothes and decided to check it out! Everything is super high quality yet reasonably priced. The woman who works there, Araxia, was incredibly sweet and immediately started helping me choose what to wear, as she told me she is a stylist. I really needed that because often times I have trouble styling outfits how I want them, but she showed me some beautiful pieces that I took a great liking to. I love The Pomegranate Boutique! They really have made me look at clothes in a different way. My friend introduced me to this store and it was helpful to me since she is curvier woman. I am visibly plus sized and it can be a struggle to shop in boutiques since they often cater to smaller women. The owners have a vast knowledge of their clothes and how they fit. They would hand me things to try on in "small" or "medium" and I would just side eye them because there's nothing small about this girl. But they said "just try it, it's meant to be flowy." And I would just try it and more times than not, it would fit. Sometimes it would even look amazing on me. Other things weren't my style and that's ok. But before, I would not have even attempted to try them on and that's kind of a sad existence. What I've learned from shopping here is that I need to focus on FIT and not be so laser visioned in on the size on the tag. I really enjoy shopping at The Pomegranate Boutique because they have fun and different styles I don't see in other stores and I'm supporting a local business. And I've never felt like "oh she's plus sized" in their store which I have FELT in other stores. I just feel like they see a human being and that's lovely. read more

I have sworn so many times I will NEVER wear a romper. At 35 years old you know what looks good and bad on you... Araxia converted me with a pair of pants that CONVERT into a romper! My husband (romper hater) has even commented several times about how great it looks. But it wasn't just this mountain top experience. Stella is a fabulous boutique owner. I came in last month hoping to find some summeresque outfits for my trip to Panama over Thanksgiving and I totally lucked out! There were still lots of pieces for traveling in any weather for any style and they were on clearance to put the cherry on top!!
