She said she couldn't work with her. When I took my dog from her her little paws were wrapped around my arm so tightly in which she's never done before. When she first arrived I asked if I could see inside her van. She was hesitant but knew she couldn't refuse allowing me in. It was a mess. Dog hair everywhere. When it was time to pay her she announced that she wouldn't charge me for the second dog. Really? I suggest you move on and find someone else if you've never had her before. I wonder if she's even really licensed. JMO

I entrusted my dog's grooming to an employee named Henry, whom I believe misled me regarding his capabilities. When giving specific instructions, Henry admitted he wasn't a professional groomer, but assured me he could handle the job even though I offered to pay a cancellation fee. He said he didn't want his time wasted and was very persistent that my dog get groomed. He said he would prep my dog for the certified groomer who would be doing the trim at the end. Upon picking up my dog, I was shocked and upset to find that she had received a full haircut instead of the requested trim, which was completely unsuitable for her breed (a woolly husky). The cut penetrated her undercoat which allows her to regulate temperature in the summer. Henry, rather than taking responsibility, argued that I had requested a haircut which was "appropriate for a husky", which is untrue. Fortunately, the groomer, Karyn, who understood the situation apologized sincerely. Upon closer inspection at home, I discovered that my dog still had matting, had a very uneven haircut, was unexpectedly covered in oil (which was not the case when I dropped her off), and her feet were still dirty,--issues Henry had claimed he would address but did not. Following my initial concerns, I had a phone call with the owner of the Dirty Doodle, which further highlighted their unprofessionalism and unwillingness to accept responsibility for the poor service. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this establishment, particularly for owners of long-haired dogs. It appears they may be better suited for grooming short-haired breeds. I had to get my dog groomed elsewhere same day.

A couple of hours at The Dirty Doodle was just what my beloved Goldendoodle needed after having…read moresurgery and a week of radiation (the various shaved areas for IV's and incisions were starting to grow in, and the rest of his nice hair was long), and I found them after searching for a place with GOOD reviews that could get him scheduled soon. I talked to Sarah (one of the groomers that shares space with them) and she completely understood the situation, as well as how "needy" he would be since every time he had been dropped off somewhere lately, surgery or something scary had happened. Sarah was able to schedule him in just a few days, I dropped the boy off first thing in the morning and he was definitely soothed by her calming personality. When I picked him up a couple of hours later, he looked terrific and wasn't as crazed as he usually is after he has been without me! Sarah is in a room by herself, so it was just a one-on-one with music, so he wasn't freaked out by a lot of dogs running around and barking. Sarah understood the situation of a sweet pup who is just getting older with medical issues (cancer and arthritis), and that made me feel so much better. I have a bichon frise who needs regular grooming and absolutely hates going to the groomers. It's always a heartbreak when I drop her off. Liz is usually the person that grooms my dog, but once Amanda did and both did a fantastic job. What I love about Liz is that she's extremely caring. She's super understanding of my dogs anxiety and my concern of her anxiety when I drop her off. She has even suggested specific dates for when it's best to take her in (quieter dates) so that my dog doesn't get too stressed. She always gives me an estimate of when she'll be ready and the one time she wasn't, she called to let me know. In all, she great!

You are just a number there and the care is not there. Dr. Leibert couldn't figure out that Maxwell had pneumonia even though he had the blood work, X-rays, and every symptom that SHOWED he had it. Yet, hundreds and hundreds of dollars spent for Muddy Creek to be perplexed on what was wrong with him and be told there is nothing more they could do you'll have to make an appt with internal medicine. I know this because we got a second opinion and the vet knew right away after looking at Muddy Creeks records, blood work and xrays and symptoms that he had pneumonia. Unfortunately, likely due to the poor care at Muddy Creek Maxwell passed away May 4th. I write to you all not to be vindictive but to provide insight and my experience with Muddy Creek and to prevent another family and animal from going through what my family.

I was absolutely frantic trying to find a daycare for her. I sent a message to mcgrupps, and got an almost immediate response from the owner, Megan. She walked me through the steps of what I would need to do in order to board my pup and got me in very quickly to do an assessment. My dog is very anxious and Megan and the staff knew exactly how to handle her. They answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease about leaving my dog for the first time. While I was away, the wonderful staff posted pictures of my dog every day on Instagram so that I could see what she was up to, which made me feel so much more at ease. I even called for an update a couple of times (crazy dog mom, i know) and the staff were so kind and took her time to talk to me about my girl. When I came to pick her up, she was bathed and ready to go. Being at the daycare, I can see that Lexi has opened up and made tons of friends. She didn't even need her anxiety medication because of how well she was taken care of. Since diagnosis Oliver has been doing much better and we are so excited for him to be healthy enough to return to McGrupps. Angela remembered Oliver and his entire situation which as a dog mom was so incredibly comforting!!!!! We are so lucky to live down the street from this clean, friendly, dog orientated facility - even for the high need pups! Highly highly recommend!
