First of all, Bruno was 5 minutes early - due mostly to the fact that he called at 730a and said he was on his way but wanted to confirm the correct address. BIG points for that as most would call at 20 minutes past the appointment and ask where they were supposed to be. Second, he had a great and gentle manor with my dog Wig who liked Bruno right away. The van was clean as was Bruno (I know that seems unimportant but some of the dog groomers I've met could use a grooming and bath themselves.) Great haircut and very prompt at just over an hour - but most importantly, when I wanted his face and tail a little shorter, it was no problem and completed in 5 minutes without attitude. He did exactly what I asked which was slightly complicated because we don't like any dog breed lines cut on him like a westie or a schnauzer, just a specific puppy cut. Haircut on our Bischon-Pom mix was $78 plus a $20 tip which makes this just as pricey as New York or LA, both of which I have lived in, but well worth the price and one I look forward to paying again based on the service. Joe was awesome with Oscar. He took the time to get to know Oscar and make sure he was comfortable and relaxed. I can't say enough about how great this experience was. You have a lifetime customer. If I could give Bruno more stars than five I would. Bruno has been taking care of our dog for almost two years. First and foremost he does a great job and is super gentle with our dog. He'll listen to what you want and if you want some fine tuning after he's finished he's always happy to make adjustments. His professionalism is beyond compare. He always arrives early with a smile on his face, such a nice guy. We live downtown and parking isn't alway easy. No problem if he can't find a spot. He picks the dog up and brings him back. Oh, and he's quick, always under an hour. We're moving away from Boston and we'll definitely miss the great service and massive convenience we've had with Bubbles and Bones. My dog has never looked better & I have the utmost trust in him. LOVE THIS GROOMER! I have a 1 yr old cockapoo and they have done a fabulous job on his haircut every time they do it. They listen to all my picky little details and he comes back happy and handsome! I am VERY impressed and very happy with the grooming Bruno provided! It is the best grooming I've gotten. I really appreciate that Joe has taken the time to get to know my pup and she is always excited to see him comes back happy. This was my first time using this groomer. The guy was incredibly accommodating and friendly. However when I got my dog back she was shaved all the way to where her whole body was pink. They even cut her whiskers off and her face has been itching and uncomfortable for the last month. When I walked away I noticed the tips of both her ears were bleeding so bad I had to wrap her whole head up so it wouldn't get everywhere. I can't say enough good things about Bruno. My dog is pretty old and has arthritis in his hips and torn ACLs so I hate putting him in the car and leaving him someplace for hours, not knowing if they're being careful with him. Embley has been groomed several times in the past (beyond my weekly attempts at a bath). Bruno is a true professional! I've never seen her with such a great cut! She has A LOT of fur, being a chow shepherd mix--now she has a lot less and looks wonderful. Bruno was on time and friendly as well and Embley was happy afterwards. We will definitely have Bruno come again to bathe her and give an occasional cut. This was the first time that I have used a groomer ,never mind a mobile groomer. I would always groom the dogs myself (I am not a professional groomer by any means). I have heard nightmares from friends of theirs dogs in a crate for most of the day, and sometimes not taken out for a pee break. Bruno and Joe showed up 10 minutes before the appointment. The girls went over to them and seemed to be comfortable. I think I was more nervous then they were. Bruno and Joe were very nice and professional. The girls were both done in about 80 minutes, and look amazing! I couldn't have been happier.
