THE worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. To start with they had no napkins. They were out and no one had gone to purchase them. The eating area was wood and there was no way to wipe it down. Chairs were dirty and again no way to clean. We took kleenex and cleaned our area. Next we ordered drinks. The drink that showed up was not what we ordered. The waitress argued with us. The chips were stale. We still could not get the waitress to understand. We told her to leave us alone and she said she does not put up with people like us with an attitude. She would not stop. We went downstairs to pay the bill. We did not eat or drink what we ordered. It was terrible. While we were paying the waitress came downstairs to complain about our attitude. I would recommend that no one go to this restaurant. They have no service and food is terrible. This place has a lot of potential, but the people that run it/work there, obviously hate life. Been there 3 times, different days and times of day. Every time, the upstairs staff is either absent or too busy jacking around to do their job. Im sure they have plenty of customers on fame days, but that doesn't keep a place open. The douche bag ratio is very high. We wont be returning. read more

Food is not bad but the service was horrific. I've been three times and each time I've received slow, inattentive service and cold food. They blast the music and with the all-concrete design, it makes it impossible to talk business and it hurts your ears. May try again in a year to see if it has improved. read more

The food was fairly disappointing. It wasn't exactly bad, but that's the best I can say for it. The view was fantastic.. Service was there. Not happy for what I paid vs. what I got. The service is AWFUL. Have given this place several chances and every time I am more and more disappointed. The food is very mediocre as well. I cut this place some slack considering they just opened, but there is no reason a paying customer should be reminding their waitresses twice to get their drinks.. especially on a night that's not busy. Well I was exited to visit and was very disappointed. The location and decor is great. I love the theme and feel. However, the service was really bad. We came there for dinner and there were only a few other tables. We ordered drinks, an app and dinner. We got the first drinks and didn't see out waitress for 30 mins. So I went to the bar (5 feet away) with the bartender serving 0 people. I ordered another drink with someone on their laptop at the bar. So now, 45 mins in, I asked another waiter who the manager was. It was the person at the bar on her laptop! We tell her and she goes to check on he food. I get back to our table and look over at her laptop and she was on Indeed looking at manager positions (picture attached). I can only assume she was looking for another job and that's why it was a terrible experience. We did get our food after an hour of waiting. Food was good once we got it. I may try it again once she's found new employment. read more

Great location, great prices for drinks, and a new menu. I heard it was taken under new management and it seems to be working out well! It was packed all day for bedlam, so the food was a bit slow out of the kitchen, but everything was delicious. It was a really nice turnaround compared to the last few months, which seemed to be a scramble. Definitely the place to be on game day, and a fun place to drink with friends at night! read more

Don't waste your time or money on this place. It has a gorgeous view of the Cherokee Gothic buildings on North OU Campus, but the restaurant does not make the visit worthwhile. Our seating area was not clean. We had to wipe the dirt off of the stools and eating area ourselves. When the server said they had no napkins, and we should have left then -- a strong indication of very poor restaurant management. The drinks we ordered were not correct, and the server argued with us instead of apologizing and getting it corrected. We ordered chips, queso and salsa -- a difficult dish to make, right? The chips were stale; the queso was cold. There were only about 10 people in the entire restaurant. Why was the order hard to get right? We did not eat the bad food, nor did we drink the drinks that were served. The server's attitude indicated that management there has not trained the staff well. And, to top it off, when we asked for our bill, the server flipped the menu and almost sent a pair of glasses to the curb! No apology - only an argumentative attitude. To make things worse, the "owner" heard our story when we paid our bill and offered no apology. We will never go back there and we sincerely hope that you won't go either. Someone who knows how to run a restaurant needs to take it over and make it a premier spot on Campus Corner. I had to give this restaurant a rating of 1 to post this review. Gave this place two tries and the second time was worse than the first. Wait staff are not well trained and there was no management in sight to teach them. Ate both times upstairs and at the bottom of the steps was a dirty bucket of water with a mop. Menu is limited- I think 9 items not to include appetizers etc. Sandwiches only and the two I have had were not particularly good. I will say the fries and dipping sauces are very good, but that is the only bright spot I have found. One person in our group had a margarita and it tasted nothing like a margarita- what bar doesn't know how to make a margarita? It is shame because it is in a prime location right across from the main OU campus. read more

Cool place with great views of the university! The menu is surprisingly small. Mainly sandwiches and salads. My wife & daughter ordered a sweet potato & regular French fry appetizer, which was good. They also ordered chicken & waffles. It was 4 chicken tenders with waffle on top & bottom like a sandwich. They enjoyed it very much and would order it again. I ordered a "Texas" buffalo chicken sandwich with a generous portion of crisp fries. You should expect sandwich to be on the small side. It claimed to be on Texas Toast, but bread was no bigger than regular sandwich bread. It was a bit thicker than normal sandwich bread, but not a lot. Overall, the sandwich tasted very good with a lot of flavor. I ordered a side of jalapeño ranch & dipped my sandwich & fries in it. Overall, good food and enjoyable experience! I would suggest owner cover upstairs porch, which would make it more useable and comfortable when there's full sun. read more

Well, the location is good. That is about the best I can say. We decided to give the Porch a try as we like supporting local businesses. We were met by the hostess and seated upstairs. It was a bit loud for the small amount of people inside. So we looked at the menu, which is kind of limited. And we continued to look at the menu, and continued, and continued. No one came to our table to see about drinks or anything else. Not that there were not waitstaff. There was one girl who appeared to be handling most of the tables, AND, four others who appeared to be more interested in talking to each other or playing with their phones. They walked past two or three times but never acknowledged us. After fifteen minutes of this we left. We could not tell you about their food. We did notice one couple who were trying to pay, but eventually had to go to the bar to pay as no waitstaff showed up. This doe not bode well for the longevity of this restaurant. Some training needs to take place on how to greet customers and how to wait on customers. We were not impressed. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. When we entered downstairs, we did not see a single person. No hostess or any employee for that matter so we ventured upstairs. It took a long time to get our drinks, when we did they were room temperature. Our table was broken and wobbly. All the tables were dirty. After we finally got our drinks, it took a long time for our waiter to come back for our food order. He didn't bring us straws so I went up to the bar to get one and the bartender was playing on her phone. When we finally got our food it was just okay. Menu is pretty generic. When we were finished with our meal the waiter just laid the check down on the table and didn't say anything and walked off. It appears to be a sports bar, however half the tv's had music videos playing and the other half had local news. Do they not have ESPN? Ryan Broyles can do better read more
