At the time I lived in Columbus and was in the Ironton/Portsmouth area to see family and had randomly found this spot at the mall. Over the years I had visited both locations mall and the downtown Ashland location shortly after it opened. It's been a few years since I've been in as I now live 4.5 hours away compared to 2.5, but was in the area on Wednesday. I had stopped in and browsed and was even more impressed with my finds this trip in addition to what I've found over the years. They have everything from Kenner Star Wars to Han Soloflex POTF 90s Star Wars to MOTU to Thundercats to Power Rangers to Strawberry Shortcake & Movie Maniacs. Staff is great and prices are fair. Definitely another spot I always try to hit in the area.

The short concrete trail was well maintained but couldn't make out where the branching trails were. Everything seemed to be overgrown which was kind of a bummer. Really enjoyed the firearms collection. Staff were very friendly and gave us a little tour of the conservatory which the kids loved. They also enjoyed the craft room and the gift shop. What little bit of the museum that I got to see was amazingly beautiful. I only got to stay at the museum for a little bit, because they were closing the museum at the time. I feel blown off, like I walked in right before close and the worker ushered me out so he could clock out. Which is likely what happened via the internet as the email came at closing time. "I'm sorry, we do not do greenery rentals. We would love to still accommodate your request, we would love to talk about pricing for xyz...." And then I could've politely corrected you and said, "Oh no, I apologize, that's not what I meant. I had been at a few different events where Archer's did fern rentals, so I was inquiring about that and was also interested in purchasing greenery arrangements." The store doesn't look big on the outside but it goes back a ways once you are in it. The first area is an entrance foyer and then you go into the humidor area. I don't know if it was due to the event or not, but there was a huge selection of Perdomo cigars, plus other brands. The prices were pretty good and the guy that I spoke to that worked there was nice and helpful. The last room is the smoking lounge area. This is a big area and it was packed this night! There are large chairs and TVs back there. I am rarely in this area, but I will definitely stop in again if I am near there and pick up a few cigars!
