We decided to try The Pour House, but honestly, it was a pretty disappointing experience. Right off the bat, when we tried to order food, the bartender told us she'd have to check if the kitchen was still taking orders since they "close at 9." It was only 8:40, and when my husband asked why, she gave him a pretty sharp look before finally coming back and taking our order. We both got bacon cheeseburgers with fries. The fries were fine, but the burgers were terrible -- dry, completely lacking flavor, and clearly unseasoned. I just don't understand why bars bother offering food if they aren't going to put any effort into making it decent. We each only managed to eat half of our burgers, which is rare for us. On top of that, service was lacking. Our server never checked back on us, and we had to walk up to the bar just to flag someone down. Meanwhile, the bartenders were having the loudest time in the whole place, yelling and laughing amongst themselves louder than any of the actual customers. Kind of a combo dive and sports bar. We went there on a Thursday night, and it was quite enough to have a fun conversation. There was a snarky older cracker lady who expressed her opinion that I was "weird" when I was ordering a beer, bless her heart. So it has that kind of "normal" people in addition to really normal people who are perfectly fine. Just be prepared if you are at not dressed like a schlub with a baseball cap to get some blowback from random haters. read more

Love it here! It really is a great bar and place to be. If you are looking for the happy hour atmosphere during the day and early evening that is exactly what you will find. When it gets a bit later the crowd changes to a little bit younger and the bar gathers with a great yet not overwhelming feel. Totally "townie" place, but we felt welcome. The young lady behind the bar could not have been more affable, efficient or pleasant.

Came by at 11:15 Saturday. "OPEN" sign lit up. Door locked. No response. Probably won't give it a second chance.

Typical bar with pretty decent food, great place to go after work to grab a beer and hang out. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich w/fries, it was pretty good, but not mind blowing. Service was very good, waitress was friendly. Would recommend. Edit 7/26/16: So, I have been coming here fairly regularly, since it is close to where I work, and I would have to say that it has really grown on me. The food is consistently good, and the bartenders/wait staff are always attentive. You cannot beat the daily lunch specials. $6 for a sandwich, fries, and a drink is awesome. I typically go on Fridays and their burger is really good. As I said the first time, I would recommend this place. read more

I went in for a quick lunch. I ordered the 5.00 lunch special which I thought came with fries and a soda. It did not! When I asked about it I was told it was extra. I asked if the fries were good and was told they are frozen fries. I got the sandwich and a bud light lime. My total was $9.00. I asked if I got the lunch special and was told yes. The bud light lime was $4.00! The sandwich was delicious and the cook that brought it out was very nice. The waitress seemed to want to eat her salad and be left alone. Oh well good food good $$ beer. Can't win them all. read more

I love the name. This is definitely a sports bar, but not a dive. Clean, well maintained. Plenty of TVs tuned to different sporting channels. They even had horse racing during the lunch hour we visited. Cool! Food was decent bar food. The buffalo chicken and porkchop sandwiches were both yummy. Fries were crispy, warm and fresh. Hubby and I went here the other night, ordered our drinks and food and gave the bartender our debit card for payment which he kept behind the bar as we would pay for everything at one time at the end of the night. When we were ready to go, they could not find our debit card. The bartender "accidentally" gave our debit card to another customer and that customer left the bar with our card before it was even noticed by the bartender! Luckily, the bartender knew who he had given our card to, which was his friend, and he called his friend to return our card right away. Our card had no other purchases on it, but we cancelled it anyway! While we stood there waiting for our card to be returned, the bartender said to us "well, it happens".
