I stopped by earlier today with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. When we're on vacation, we try to visit a new local coffee shop, and this morning we decided to go to The Press. It's located in downtown Panama City and has a good amount of space inside. Immediately upon entering, there is some coffee and merchandise to your right, the ordering counter is straight ahead, and there's plenty of seating throughout the rest of the space. My wife and I were both drawn to their specialty menu, which was extensive and colorful. We both ended up choosing the same pistachio cookie latte, though I went with a large hot version, while my wife opted for a medium iced one. After about a five-minute wait, we had our coffees and headed on our way. My coffee turned out to be quite good. The first thing that hit me was the pistachio flavor, followed by the sweetness from the shortbread, and finally the coffee and milk came through at the finish. While I would have preferred a slightly stronger coffee flavor, I have to admit I basically inhaled it since I really enjoyed the taste. My wife also enjoyed her pistachio latte, and while she usually has quite a bit left by the time we get home, this time it was almost gone which says a lot. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed the vibe of The Press and thought their specials were great as well.

Really nice spot to sit at for a light morning breakfast. The Press offers high quality drinks and a nice variety of food and baked goods. The people behind the counter are friendly and the food comes out fast. While I enjoyed my banana nut muffin and the rest of my family enjoyed their crepes and toasts, the espresso was a standout-really high quality and well made. Recommend checking this spot out!

I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review because I've been coming to The Press for a minute & it's truly one of my happy places downtown. The vibes are always on point, from the cozy chairs to the perfect little outdoor seating area when the weather's nice. Just tried their new spring flight and HELLO, flavor! So creative and delicious. I'm also lowkey obsessed with their blueberry muffins and crepes....*total* comfort food energy. I am still holding out hope they'll bring back the amaretto syrup (manifesting this with love and caffeine), but I seriously appreciate the creativity they put into their custom drinks year-round. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or camping out for a cozy work sesh, it's such a solid spot to chill, sip, and feel inspired. Forever a fan of The Press!

The food is very yummy! We have been several times and the food never disappoints. We always get the Riding with the King crepe which is delicious. We have also gotten the avocado toast which is good, especially with the toppings. Their pastries are good, and I also typically enjoy a matcha latte while my partner gets a dirty chai latte. Our only qualm with this place is that it's a little overpriced in our opinion, but considering it's the only nice brunch place around this area, we always find ourselves back!

genuinely where do I even start??? I LOVE this place. It's such a place of comfort to me and I've been going here suuuper frequently for a year or two now? The staff are so sweet and accommodating, the atmosphere of the cafe is absolutely perfect and so comfortable, and the food and drinks are always great. I don't have a photo, but I personally love The Graceland! it's a croissant sandwich with banana, peanut butter, and honey with a side of chips. I also really enjoy the french toast muffin and the Roast Beef. The specials are so awesome and I always look forward to seeing what they'll have for each season! The press really opened my eyes to the downtown area and community there, and I go there often with friends to hangout and study, plus I recently stopped by there for my birthday. They give out free pup cups and are dog friendly, and have a fridge of waters and sodas :) I can't recommend it enough

Cute local spot nestled downtown that's good for brunch with friends, doing work or even just a quick to-go coffee pickup. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy, we only waited maybe 10-15 minutes for food and the servers apologized for the wait and brought us drink tickets! Finding this cafe was such serendipity. We were looking for a cafe slightly away from the beach side where we were staying at because it was pouring that day as we wanted to explore the city a little in the car. Found this place on Yelp , decided to give it a shot and voila! We were so happy. My husband got the coffee flight, I got the seasonal steamed apple cider and we couldn't be happier. The flight had iced coffees and we got our dairy replaced with oat milk. It was delicious and definitely hit the spot. Ambiance wise, it was a cozy little home-style cafe. It was nostalgically decorated for Christmas we sat by the window, they had comfortable sofas, as we stared at the rain pouring outside enjoying our coffee. Felt like we were in a movie.The service was impressive. Very warm and friendly staff. I also got the small tomato soup and some chicken salad and chips as I got hungry, it was delicious. The chicken salad was amazing wish it was served with greens though. The potato chips were great too. Parking was easy. This place is recommended by me. I loved the whole experience of being here.

This place was so fun! Took my mom here while she was visiting and we got the 2 coffee flights that were being offered at the time. I was having to chase a toddler around so it wasn't as relaxing or as nice as I wanted it to be but I will come back without the child. The crepe was delicious! the answer is YES! you do want to try this place out. it's inside a hotel actually, has a very modern, simplistic style. they must have renovated because it looks a lot different than the pictures. they also have outdoor seating which would be nice for a study date! the coffee was just the right amount of sweetness and the espresso was rich. try it out!! read more

Incredible place!! They feature crepes and coffee. I have tried their classic crepe (no filling) and their health nut crepe (Spinach and egg white with a side of granola) and both have been scrumptious. My friend got the breakfast crepe (sausage egg and bacon) and loved it, too. What makes them special is two things: 1) Their decor! This hits you on the way in. Kind of a modern farmhouse, rustic, with dark homey colors and deep wood tones. I like it. And this coming from someone who likes stainless steel and minimalist modern decor, as well. 2) THEIR OWNER! He is an awesome guy. Wonderful personality and gives you a little extra something every time. Even just to come over and check if you need hot sauce, answer any questions or just a friendly chat...he does it so well, without being overbearing. Check this place out. So, I went to the location across from p. Willys, and honestly. Every drink was amazing! The drinks were soooo good! I was really impressed! The food did not have a lot of options for dairy free, I got the spinach crepe, and it was a health option, but it lacked flavor. Everyone else loved their food tho. The drinks are well worth the visit tho! And plenty of milk replacement options! read more

can you give a place more than 5 stars? Absolutely fell in love with this place on my first visit. The decor is so cute. the coffee delicious and well priced! I'm always looking at coffee shops for a place to study (since I'm a full time student) and a cheap but yummy cup of coffee. The owners are this lovely couple who are often found walking through the shop and greeting customers. This place is super clean. They clean every table after each guest and replace the table cloths as well. The food is amazing to say the least. I love the crepes especially the breakfast crepe! Really recommend stoping in, have a seat and just enjoy the day. read more

Too bad there isn't a star less than one. No masks and I paid 6$ for a coffee that was supposed to be a large and instead came out smaller than a small. Do not go here. Do not even try getting a frappe here it was absolutely awful. Never again save your money please read more

We found our new chill coffee spot. We loved the blend of different cultures (British, French, and Italian) in their approach to the coffee/tea/breakfast experience. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The Press was conceived and created in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. As the people and business of Panama City began to rebuild and grow again, we saw a lively spirit begin to flourish in downtown; and what better way to fuel a fighting spirit than with a friendly, productive environment and delicious coffee! The Press is here to provide a stimulating and enjoyable place to work and relax. We have everything from public and private work stations to your favorite treat or cup of motivation. I was enjoying this place, and I was having a nice place to come take a break and make progress in my life while sitting and enjoying a coffee, every day recognized repeat customer. One day, the most notorious happened and while im sitting down PEACEFULLY, and instead of offering to sell me a beverage, they called the cops on me to breach my privacy and peace This time i cut directly to the source of thier investigation, thats being thats my case now from "anyonomus" callers. Not this time again... A case that im involved in from, isnt an invasion of justice, when that gives me a right to ingress before entrapment comes for jail, for whose waiting to set me up again for failure with the identification card as usual. read more
