No other stores that we go to there have the arrogance and "better than you" heir about them that this store does. There were quite a number of choices: loose candy by the pound, "old school" candy (jawbreakers, candy necklaces, etc), fudge, and regular old candy bars. A kid's paradise! However, it's obvious their turnover is likely low, as we only saw one other customer while we were there. So if you opt for loose candy, check for freshness (and use tongs!). We bought a few Air Heads, a candy necklace and two "sour" lollipops that were actually more like lollipops made from Smarties (YUM). This business is **CASH ONLY**. If you're walking through Popponesset Marketplace and need a sugar pick-me-up, this is an easy in-and-out; great for kids to walk to from nearby vacation cottages.
