The staff is rude and you feel creeped out working out here. Dare you ask a question and bother the staff. No thanks.

********Core Fitness********…read more Here is another example of a local business with a myopic view of how to treat a customer. I joined Core Fitness in June of 2019 for a one year contract. I was not told that the fine print authorizes an automatic renewal after the contract expires. So when the gym closed due to Covid, my contract was in breach. The gym re-opened when allowed by the state. I never received another automatic debit from my checking account when they opened back up and I never set foot inside the door due to covid related concerns. I received a call today from the gym telling me that my account was delinquent. It took the gym 9-10 months to call me and ask for money. I explained that my membership was expired and that I owed nothing as well as the fact that I hadn't used the gym. I was told that I owed them $285 dollars anyway. I again challenged the validity of the contract. Again I was told that I owe they money. I will tell every person that I can, not to use Core Fitness. Maybe if the gym had acted professionally and called they're customers after they reopened to see if they wanted to renew a membership during a pandemic they would have had a leg to stand on. Long story short....the bill is paid and I will never set foot in that establishment and I hope that others will not as well. Maggie related that she had made many calls today so there must be many people that they're fleecing for money to pay for all of the renovations. It's shameful to abuse the customer!

I like going to this gym because it's smaller and that means there will be less people. Sometimes…read moreyou don't wanna be around the large crowd that you're going to find at a bigger gym. The staff is friendly. It is also 24 hours

After 20-some years of working out at W-B/Scranton gyms, I've seen the entire spectrum of big…read moreboxes, boutiques, and boxing gyms. None, even on their best days, have compared to what is offered at Leverage. For years I confused what I "need" in a gym with what I like to tell people my gym has. It turns out I don't need tracks, pools, or extensive cardio rooms - I just need to see a challenging workout sizing me up from a chalkboard to get me going. For years I made the mistake of dragging myself to the gym for cardio-machine-based workouts with weight lifting. The results were OK, but they were nothing compared to Leverage's "B-WOW" workouts or intense Primal Scream group circuit workouts. When I leave here after only an hour of intensity, my body continues to blast calories and rebuild for days. This involves no cardio machines, and almost no weights. But it involves a LOT of time spent outside my workout comfort zone, and that's why it's so effective. The facility itself isn't much to see, but it has everything: free weights, kettles, balls, TRX bands, ropes hanging bars, mats, boxes ... oh, and a few machines. Towels are complimentary on the floor and the locker rooms, which are the cleanest locker rooms and showers (steam showers) you'll see anywhere. There are restrooms in the White House that aren't this clean, and I know because I've been there enough times. In fact, the entire gym is in a constant state of hyper cleanliness. And that's what I "need" to see at my gym. I need to see the trainer in the gym working out and swishing a mop across the floor. I want a trainer who lives the job, not just comes in for an eight-hour cubicle shift. And more importantly, I need to see other people in the gym for the same reason I'm there: RESULTS.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with the staff and the gym. Great space with all the weights, machines, studio, etc. This place is the CLEANEST GYM I ever worked out in! If I ever move back to this area I will be sure to join this facility. I would highly recommend anyone looking to join a gym to check this place out. You will not be disappointed. Thank you! Chris
