I was looking for a new stylist to color correct my brassy blonde hair and to use on a go froward basis. I made an appointment with McKensie and she is exceptional. From the moment we met, McKensie's energy was so positive. Here is what I care about when choosing a stylist that McKensie checked every box for me. She is very personable, she genuinely listened to my concerns and reviewed the pics I brought in of where I wanted my blonde highlights and lowlights to ultimately look like. She is very meticulous and skilled with placement of highlights and lowlights, taking her time with every foil placement. She saved all of my hair information in an app, color, cut, etc., so that I have consistency with my hair each time I come in. The hair products used in my hair made my hair feel so well conditioned, luxe, healthy and shiny. I mean, even getting my hair wash so relaxing. I am very realistic and manage my expectations when beginning to work with a stylist; understanding it could take several times to get to where I want my hair to be. You have to ask for Jessie! She performs MAGIC. I have been through so many different hair stylists and was never able to find anyone as good as her. I drive out over an hour to see her and would follow her to the end of the world if I had to! I promise you that you will not want to go to anyone else once you go to Jessie. Only 1 star for the vibe and ambiance of the salon. I went to the salon a few weeks ago and Tania did my hair. Balayage and cut for $300. Complete waste of money. Not very well educated in conversation, hair color or hair cut. Not once did she talk to me about my hair, the condition or it or discuss hair care. I have been looking for a great salon which feels like forever and I have finally found it. I Found them on instagram and was able to book an appointment by text which was very convenient. The salon is so pretty in person and the receptionist was so sweet! I do bleach and tones which are really hard to match and the stylist did such a fantastic job getting it absolutely perfect. She was very respectful of my comfort and checked in on me getting me to a beautiful color. The cut was awesome and I purchased some Davines hair product on my way out. I highly recommend The Princeton Co and will be returning every 6 weeks. It is clean and so on trend. I also snagged the best smelling candle and a baby shower gift. The vibe is very relaxed and everyone is so friendly and nice so much so that it's my one stop shop for anything beauty related. I have been going to The Princeton Co for YEARS! My hairdresser is Colleen. She is kind, professional and really knows what she's doing. I feel heard when I explain what I want my hair to look like. The final result is always exactly what I want!!! The energy here is pleasant and very zen. Beautiful plants are placed throughout the salon side. The place is always so clean and bright. The aesthetic with the decor and the overall look is far from boring and makes you want to return again and again. There is a beautiful boutique next door, that you can get to from the salon side. Seriously, the cutest pieces of jewelry. It's a great spot to shop for yourself or to go to when shopping for a special gift.
