I was given fluoroquinolones (Cipro and Levaquin) IV. By day 3 I could not see. Everything was blurry. It did not go away. I decided to see Dr. Boname because she was nearby where I was hospitalized. I liked her immediately because she did not try to defend the medical system the way many practitioners do even when they've clearly erred. She said those kinds of fluoroquinolone antibiotics damage the retina. You'll need glasses now. Any time I have met with her or been cared for by her, I have felt that I'm being cared for by family that has a special interest in me. She doesn't just care about the two eyes in our face because she knows many serious conditions show up in the eyes first....diabetes, cardiovascular disease etc. She knows there are no fences in the body and the body is a whole system that works synergistically together. She takes into consideration genetics and their support, what I consider the "laser approach" to personalized medicine. I know I will get the best care from here which is why I have driven from Rhode Island to her office outside of Princeton, NJ for many years.

I am thankful not only for her care for me but as well as my Dad when he needed cataract surgery. Ben - who runs the eyeglass/contact side of the business - is one of the nicest, knowledgeable professionals I have met. He provides quality frames and lenses. He provides clear information about lenses and has a good eye in picking frames to suit your face. I am a bit clumsy and needed frequent adjustment to my frames - to the point I felt guilty coming In so often- but am always reassured it is no problem and come back anytime. This is a first class organization.

I have decided to write a review due to the highest standards of patient care and customer service…read moreexperienced at the Campus Eye Group, alas not often observable in our day and age. The Campus Eye Group has provided such a degree of personal attention that I couldn't help but get a feeling I am being personally concierged and pampered. Everyone, from the staff receptionists, to the medical personnel, paid sincere attention to me, listened to all my needs, heeded to my eye-related issues and took their time to answer every possible question I had. This wasn't my first time I got treated by the CEG. The amazing consistency is what I really love about this practice, for every time I invariably get the same superb patient care, custom tailored to my specific needs. The doctors always treat me with respect and I never fail to get more than satisfactory results concerning my vision. Specifically I would like to mention the Campus' Lasik department, of which I retain the most positive experience. The staff guided me though every step of this quality-of-life-changing procedure. Last bit not least important is the fact that the CEG has the most advanced laser equipment. Prior to having decided to get my Lasik procedure done, I have done my thorough homework. Even big and reputable eye practices in NYC and Philadelphia can rarely boast with such state-of-the-art laser equipment. Very budget-friendly and flexible pricing for the procedures not covered entirely by medical insurance. The CEG does truly deserve a 5 star rating (and more) and I can't recommend the Campus highly enough as a final destination for all your vision related needs.

I gave them my vision insurance card and my medical insurance card when I got there. Then they said, someone from their facility who verified my insurance before through the phone, left them a message that they got dental insurance card not my medical insurance card (both carried by the same insurance company but different plans). I just visited a dentist yesterday, is it possible a third-party verification company mixed up my medical and dental cards? is there any such thing? Who knows. I said, you have my medical insurance card right in front of you, not my dental card (which is a digital card on my phone). They said, they are not allowed to do the verification, and even though I offered to call my medical insurance right there for verification, they do not want to go through with my examination. I came to get a prescription for my eyeglasses not a comprehensive eye exam, and eyeglasses is covered by my vision insurance, not my medical or dental insurance. I showed them my vision insurance card as well. I wrote this review to make sure they fix this problem, educate their receptionists and do not charge me for anything because I didn't go through any eye exams with them.

It's not a walk in the park and the second time was more harsh than the second and yes there is aftercare -- lots of eye drops! The procedures were about a half hour each. The actual cutting was just a minute or two. It's far more strange than painful. Then it's over. It's only a day or so before you're able to do things again which really isn't bad considering the benefits. However, it's been 3 years now and it still is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Dr. Wasserman is INCREDIBLY kind, steady, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is quick to remedy any issues that come up. I've been going back for eye checkups there ever since. Office is clean. Wait times are reasonable. Location is perfect. I've sent my friends there for checkups and Lasik consultations and they've had good experiences as well. HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend!

Then proceeded to wait for over an hour in the room for this arrogant dismissive know it all to show up and not even acknowledge how late he was. I went through my 2 biggest concerns one by one and without me even finishing my explanation he told me it was nothing and just wanted to examine my daughter. When she wasn't cooperating (because she's just over a year old and had been waiting for over an hour) he was getting more and more frustrated, stopped the exam, told me nothing was wrong and to try again in 3-4 months the when my daughter was a bit more cooperative. Worst bedside manner I've ever seen from any doctor/medical professional. There are other eye doctors that will actually care about you and your child
