    Strawberry daiquiri :)
    Bethany W.

Such a lovely little pub off the beaten track. Alex and I decided to take a late night stroll and we stumbled across The Print House! We popped in for a beverage and were instantly wowed by the large, beautifully open interior and relaxed atmosphere within. We walked over to the bar, Alex ordered a beer and I opted for a strawberry daiquiri. The waiter was very nice and quickly made and poured our drinks. My daiquiri was delicious! Seriously fruity and smooth and perfected with a slice of lime - NOM. We grabbed two seats at a high table as all the sofas we taken (there's 6 really comfy looking sofas!) I really enjoyed our drink and will definitely return to try the food. If you're in the area I would highly recommend!

I'm so happy I found this spot. Stratford is getting better and trendier each day but you still can see the difference if you compare it with east London zone 1/2. The Print House has everything you need if you miss that vibe. It is situated next to the canal and it has this huge 'al fresco' area where they do barbeques on the weekends and also a mojito bar as well. It is really cool! Big wooden tables outside and a ping-pong table if you feeling like playing! Inside area seems really cozy, with a big bar area and a restaurant as well. I did not try any food but I saw some of the dishes from other tables and it looked AMAZING. Can't wait to try it! I heard they do Sunday Roast and they famous for it. Prices are OK. A little bit expensive if you compare it with some of the local pubs but it is way nicer. They have Youngs Dark beer, just for £3.80. They also have Happy Hour on Cocktails on Friday! And all this just 5 minutes away from my home. Happy Alba!

I felt the Zen here. I kind of regretting that I have not come here sooner. One look from the inside, and I instantly felt the cool calm summer vibe, where you can comfortably hold a nice cool pint or a bottle of apple cider, and talk about what's right about your mundane job, rather than what's wrong, which is usually the case. love the big wide open space, the modern chic look, and deck chairs over looking the canal, and wide tables. And to mention there is customer parking at the back. The food is not too bad, tried a few interesting platters and they have a nice selection of ales. Its a shame its quiet, I am sure once all the developments in the area are finish, they will receive a huge influx of people, but until then, I will gladly enjoy the space and the tranquil vibe the Print house is offering at the moment.

We ordered onion rings to start, the breading on them was amazing! It was light and crispy as opposed to being heavy and greasy like a lot of onion rings. I also loved the curry ketchup that came with them. I'm not generally a curry fan, but it definitely worked with this dish. My husband got fish and chips. The fish was perfectly fried and the tarter sauce was obviously house made because it tasted very fresh and lemony. The chips were fine, but unremarkable in my opinion. For my meal, I ordered pumpkin walnut gnocchi. It was delicious! Just enough pumpkin without being overpowering. There was quite a bit of kale (I think it was kale, the menu didn't say) that came with the dish. It was very good, but probably could have been dialed back a little. The service was friendly and prompt. Definitely a great way to start our London vacation!

And the opening hours extend to only 11:00pm on a Friday and Saturday, so it's not ideal for a longer drinking session. Despite this, Tap East does get in some very good beer from local and International breweries. It boasts 16 taps and a selection of over 100 bottles in the fridges. In addition to this, they have their own microbrewery in situ, often offering their in-house range on cask. The beers on offer are always rotating and you'll find a good range of styles represented. It's a cosy little corner of a bar, offering some outdoor seating as well. The staff are usually quite knowledgeable of their range and there's a small menu of nibbles available. It's usually quite busy, but you won't have to wait too long to get a seat. Despite the downside of its position in Westfield, Tap East is still worth a visit to see what's on offer. I have found some rare iterations here and their own beer is also solid.

Their crown-jewel is probably all the Belgian lambics they have, mostly in bottles, but some on tap. The actual place is a bit divey, but not too bad. The biggest thing was that it was totally packed on a Sunday afternoon when we came and tried to find a seat. We wound up sitting outside even though it was a bit chilly and we were directly downwind from some smokers. Things eventually cleared out and my wife and I found a table inside. They apologized for it, but they only served beer in plastic when we started drinking even when we bought over £50 bottles of rare Beligan lambic. That said, they have the goods. They had a great little food truck with good burgers and they have the beer. I started with a Tilquin cherry lambic that was on tap and I'd never had before that was spectacular while my wife had an Other Half IPA which we love in the states, but is harder to find in the UK. We then moved on to 3F wine-lambic hybrids and a spectacular Saison from Mills Brewing. We'll definitely be back.
