If I listed even half of the categories you can find at KPD this review would be WAY too long but suffice to say, if you collect it or dream of it, you will probably find it at KPD. The toy section seems endless with many high quality, highly desirable collectibles. Unlike usual consignment shops, some areas are rented by local artists with amazing art. Honestly, we could have spent 1/2 a day there and not have begun to scratch the surface of the inventory. The setting is great-super high ceilings, old wood floors and creative displays. The owner was super friendly, available as needed. We can't wait to return, as my daughter said, "We need to come back all the time or we will miss something!" While there check out Brooklyn +Rye & Infusion Art Glass. After you work up an appetite you can get a delicious healthy meal or snack at Good Earth Holistic Kitchen or Wild Hare (by the Medusa Brewery people) which will operate as a specialty coffee cafe and lunch spot by day and a sophisticated, intimate dinner spot and brewery by night.

She also sells candles, knickknacks, beautiful scarves and sweaters, dresses, shoes, jeans, dresses and hats and even lingerie last time I stopped in. All of her items are of very good quality so you can bet it will last, especially if you take good care of them. It's a wonderland of what you will find next. I don't live in the area anymore, but when I am back, always make it a point to stop in and browse around. It's a very unique store. The owner is a very down to earth lady who Is very friendly as is all her staff. Helping out small businesses is great. I found this beautiful driftwood with a blown glass bowl which they could probably put anything in it and use as a center piece. Totally happy with the find! Overall Service: The guy in here was very helpful and pointed out several different items that he thought would make a perfect gift. I'm still in the process of settling into my new home and now have just the store to go to for eccentric pieces when I start decorating it.

Probably the thing I like best about this place is besides buying cheap furniture and whatnot, I can sell the stuff in my house that I no longer want and make some real cash. There's no appointment needed, Just walk in with your stuff and they'll access it right there and tell you what they will take. Stop by a few weeks later and pick up your cash for the items they sold.

More packed here than any of those other places. I was (and still am) a bit confused... I guess the whole building is known as "Tilton & Cook Market Place" but each floor is a different owner.. or rather it's a business that rents out space to vintage/thrift stores. On the first floor I was told there were 5 different owners, but it's really hard to figure out whose stuff is whose and if you're entering another "store". Just remember where you got stuff. There is also a place to eat and relax on the first floor which is pretty cute, but I didn't look at the menu cause I wasn't hungry. People there were pretty nice. You really have to go digging around here (or in some areas). I was only able to get to the second floor... I think I was there for about 2hrs... there is just so much stuff! (I didn't even finish the second floor). From my understanding, each floor is its own "shop" (except for the first floor). But no one seems to have their own name... just "Tilton & Cook Market Place" or "Tilton & Cook Corp". Make sure to bring lots of cash... no one in the building can take credit/debit. And at last, the days and hours for these shops are all the same. I could be wrong on a few things here, but this is all what I gathered and understood. Im definitely gonna have to return. Such a great find!
