We showed up 20 mins before closing, I know I know we were those customers but we had just gotten out of the theater and wanted a healthier dessert. My man has always been wanting to try it so we finally barely made it. They only had a few flavors left so we did a 6 pack which included strawberry crème I believe (my fave) s'mores, biscoff & cookies & crème. All were delicious. We tried a couple protein donuts. I actually really liked the chewy texture, it reminded me of mochi donuts so I'm guessing they use rice protein. However the flavors don't taste anything like they're supposed to be. The maple doesn't have a drop of maple and the s'more tasted like chocolate syrup with a marshmallow on top. read more

Tried the s'mores protein doughnut and the protein pizza at The Protein Bar and was really impressed. The doughnut was soft and flavorful, without that typical protein aftertaste, and the pizza was satisfying and packed with flavor. We stopped by today out of curiosity and it was a great first experience. They were making fresh donuts when we walked in so the display was empty however the staff was extremely friendly and helpful explaining everything. We tried the pizza bread and donuts. Came in for the first time and was told 30 minutes after opening that a customer had cleared out all the donuts except a couple flavors. I was able to snag one biscoff, one s'mores and one cinnamon roll. The guy helping us was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, he says you are able to make pre-orders. I'm confused on the texture, I understand it wouldn't be the same as a normal pastry/donut, but the cinnamon roll was extremely tough and chewy, barely edible/chewable with the strangest cinnamon essential oil flavor. The donuts were better, super chewy, reminds me of a mochi donut, but tougher even though it weighs next to nothing. I like the concept of healthy donuts, but I just wasn't a big fan of the actually product, unfortunately Browsed the foods in the cooler, looked good, might have to be back to try something new next time. read more

Finally got to check this place out yesterday. As someone who tries to find healthy alternatives this place definitely offers great options. Mainly their donuts they satisfy the occasional sweet tooth while not making you feel guilty and feel gross. After eating. A traditional donut. It's pretty amazing. I'm 100% in love with this place now. Staff and food was all ready before their scheduled open time, so definitely makes me believe they're a great team and ready to serve their local community. The guy who helped us was very informative and nice. I did mention it was our first time in so we were checking out the menu a bit, but mostly wanted donuts for breakfast. I'm not even a fan of regular donuts, but these ones are AMAZING. I didn't have the greasy turnoff from them, they were sweeter than I expected (without overdoing it), felt more filling than a regular donuts, and didn't make me feel guilty for eating 2. These are the best health donuts, with my wife being diabetic the lower in sugar a plus at about 3.5g sugar per donut and 12g protein per donut, come on! It doesn't get any better! The texture of these are similar to a croissant donut. Give them a try, you probably won't go back to a regular donut. read more

Earlier this year, being 18 months postpartum with my second and last baby, I decided it was time for me to make a big change and focus on me and my health. After several months at the gym, I was feeling discouraged because though the people close to me noticed change, I wasn't seeing it and the scale was not budging. My husband and I the decided to really focus on what we were putting into our bodies and start a meal prep, and chose protein bar to help guide us on this new journey! Now here I am a few months into incorporating The Protein Bar as a main part of our diet (along with counting macros and staying in a calorie deficit), and I am feeling better in my skin than I have in years! I am actually seeing changes in my body and my mental state, and I am happier and more confident than ever! The protein bar has given us so much ease in our evenings with simple healthy meals that we enjoy, as do our kids, and we do not have to give anything up like a sweet night cap with their incredible protein donuts. I stumbled across an article mentioning The Protein Bar and it got me curious. A couple of weeks ago my mother stopped in to purchase some of the protein donuts for the family.She picked the strawberry for our first Protein Bar experience.She mentioned that they also have drinks available, meal prep that is ready to go or you can place an order. The strawberry donut was yummy! No aftertaste and certainly no guilt because it is packed with protein. This week I stopped in to try another donut.I decided on the blueberry with fresh blueberries on top for the whole family.This donut was also really good! Oh my goodness amazing tri-tip & brisket meals . They are smoked on site !, so delicious and leave you feeling satisfied , energized and no post meal bloat ! Nutrients are low fat, low carbs high protein . Love it after my workout . They've helped me maintain a healthy guilt free build . This place is awesome. I picked up the half dozen of assorted protein donuts. A little bit expensive but worth it for a lower calorie protein dessert. I tried the vanilla one and it was really good. We went in the middle of the day, everything was so good! The donuts didn't taste like your normal protein donut they tasted just like a treat and were very very soft. It's all a lie The pictures they have selling Mac and cheese with tri-tip Or tacos Or baked potato it doesn't even look like that what so ever Food is already made and in fridge.. when picked he puts it in microwave to heat up.. they use all plastic trays but claim to be healthy. He swears he has done all homework and science behind this. He must have never read an article on how bad microwaves are and eating with plastic utensils.. it's overly priced. I stopped by The Protein Shop today and had such a great experience. The customer service was truly top-tier and they took amazing care of me from the moment I walked in. They have a solid grab-and-go selection, but what really stood out was their willingness to go above and beyond. The item I wanted wasn't available in the grab-and-go, and they happily made it fresh for me without hesitation. The owners are incredible! Super welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their service. Ive been purchasing various foods from this place and to say this is an amazing establishment would be an understatement. The staff here are so welcoming and the manager is a great guy. Love how I can still enjoy sweet treats with this place. I got a dozen donuts and my kids didn't even know they were a healthier option till I told them. We will definitely be eating here more!
