Love this store!! They carry your typical Asian ingredients and more. It's not as busy as 88 Ranch but the cashier is very helpful and friendly. They have the fresh raw chinese chicken too (if you know, you know). They also have the dry chinese herbs and other miscellaneous chinese healing rubs like Tiger balm, White flower, green oil... you name it, they got it!! It was a little difficult to find because the front was not marked that clearly but once you go inside, it is a beautiful store with lots of yummy stuff. they also have dim sum that looks really good that you can order to go. Great products, prices are better than 88 Ranch and their service is far superior. The single female cashier was really nice and friendly and even told me with the phone continuously ringing that her focus was on in person customers. We found a few drinks to go with our dim sum as well as some of my kids' favorite snacks and treats. We've already made a list of things we need to go back for including their homemade wontons in the back freezer. I like this place bc the make banh mi! This place is smaller than 88 ranch but has some Chinese things 88 ranch doesn't have. I support local owned businesses so I hope they only grow bigger. When I make hot pot, I think this place is a way better choice than 88 ranch. The perishable items here is also better than 89 ranch. It's more fresh and isn't rotten half the time. Awesome market! Not as big as the pics look but really great market. Good prices! SUPER friendly owner, so helpful! She told us all about the talented herbalist doctor that is there in the mornings; how they will translate for him do make you a powerful prescription. So cool. Great selection of food/produce. I absolutely love this place!! Can't recommend it enough. The owner is super kind and friendly, and they always make you feel welcome. Not only do they have an amazing selection of fresh vegetables and meats, BUT there's a second-generation herbalist on site who is incredible. I'd been dealing with some sudden hormonal issues and severe anxiety, and his herbal persception completely healed me. He's so knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping people. I saw a post on FB Temecula Talk that they sell hot pot sets so I decided to stop by. They employee said that I had to order ahead, which I was okay with doing but since I stopped by they said could whip up a hot pot set for me in 20 min! I browsed the store in the meantime and found a lot of snacks and fresh looking produce, much better than 88 Ranch's quality. I also saw they sell crispy pork belly so I decided to try a piece and it was very delicious. I'd come back again. A hot pot set for 2 is only $25 bucks! Amazing price for what you get. read more

As I was staying at the Marriott across the shopping center, I decided to check them out . For a small store they have a wide variety of groceries from China. The employees don't speak Cantonese or English very well.... a minus for me. They have prepared hot food and a nice selection of Asian vegetables . Small little chinese market that I found when a sudden hot pot craving hit. Here's the problem, we totally forgot we weren't near Cerritos anymore which also meant we were not close to a 99 Ranch, an H Mart, a japanese market or anything that would make us hot pot ready. In fact there was only one korean market that I had found (but it was closed) There was another chinese market called 88 something (also closed) and finally Seafood City who was nice enough to let me know they didn't have any of the thin brisket or pork slices I was looking for. So. Desperate to fill the need I checked Yelp one last time and found Best Wei. I won't lie - I was pretty skeptical, and even when I got there I wasn't sure what to expect. But then the minute I walked through the door and started seeing familiar brands, my favorite snacks and just things that made me feel at home, I knew I had gone to the right place. The store has a modest section of produce and a great frozen variety of everything you would need for hot pot! Score!! I ended up buying two frozen packs of beef rolls, a kabocha, some dipping sauce, my hot pot veggies and checked out with a huge grin on my face. Prices are fair, I think the kabocha was a little more expensive than Sprouts, but I'm all for supporting little local businesses like this one. The cashier wasn't overly friendly, nor rude - and I left knowing that I would most likely be back. Overall, a nice surprise, especially on a hot pot night! read more

There's not too many Asian markets in town, this place carries some similar things and more. I found a section of herbal tea that's pretty good, and I've been buying bags of it to cleanse my system. I mainly get the blood health tea and dropped my blood sugar slowly and steadily. They have customers that claimed that they are off medication so we'll see. The place is clean, but some of the items are pricey. They also have a food section and dim sum order for pick ups. Got to try their beef soup, chicken paws, and sandwiches, very rich in flavor. Don't forget the soy chicken, it is also very good. The grocery section you'll find a good selection of duck and duck meat portions to all duck lovers out there. A good selection of seafood as well. Didn't know this place existed and found out about it on Facebook. It's a small store but they do have a lot of quality and unique items that you wouldn't find at bigger Asian markets and their prices are decent. We came there late evening so they didn't have a lot of fresh hot dim sum available so we tried a ready made dish that was sitting in the hot display cabinet. It was pretty tasty but granted, it probably would've been better had I came earlier in the day. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and they were very clean and wrapped neatly. That's rare cause a lot of times the veggies are very dirty at bigger Asian markets, so that was a plus in my book. I cant believe it took me 1.5 years to discover this little treasure. Their dimsum, banh my, chasiu pork are all fresh and tasty. A staff told me they have crispy pork on Friday. Vegetable section looks very fresh, I found morning glory here. They do carry many different items to Ranch 88 so I think it worths a trip to check out. I was told they just rearranged the shelves and in the process of restocking items so everything looks neat. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Very sad and disappointing asian market. Recently moved to Murrieta from San Gabriel Valley and was hoping to find a good asian market nearby to purchase some groceries and cook some asian dishes. Came upon this via yelp so we decided to stop by and check it out due to the good reviews. Upon arrival, parking lot is pretty empty but due to COVID, not many stores in the plaza is open. The store is surprisingly small. Way smaller than we had expected. It was very dim and looked a little run down. There is a very small section of produce and frozen/meat that was packaged in the back. Some of the produce looked very old and extremely dirty. There are no fresh meat as it seems like everything was frozen. Not much of a selection on things to cook. The pro is that there is a small section by the registered that had loose leaf teas i believe they sell by the lbs. There are a lot of products that are seriously overpriced. I took asian market in 626 for granted because prices are doubled if not tripled the amount here. They also had a good amount of masks, hand sanitizer and gloves but items seem to be WAY overpriced. Hand sanitizer was 10.99 for a 4oz bottle and the KN95 masks were 150.99 which I felt ridiculous for 50 masks. Otherwise, I believe there is only 1 worker there and she was very friendly. read more

Such a hidden gem! I was able to find what I needed at this market. It is pretty tiny, but I loved it nonetheless. The customer service was great, the employees were so nice and sweet. They also have an area where they sell food and even make drinks. My partner got the assorted food package and he loved it! The price was unbeatable. They do have fresh organic chicken and other meats. Just not as much as your regular larger Asian markets would carry, but I am not letting that keep me away. There is also a section of Chinese herbal ingredients. Medicinal or for culinary purpose perhaps. I'm not too familiar with these though. The people I've come across who work here have all been friendly and helpful. They have very good Taiwanese milk tea too. Just ask someone if you want to order. Great service, selection, and staff. I bought a giant Costco-sized box of noodles for my son. He's vegan, and like an idiot, I didn't look at the ingredients,. So I get home and the first thing he says is, "These have egg in them." I thought for sure I was stuck with 10 pounds of noodles. Cute Asian market with good variety of chips, produce, several varieties of Chinese rice wine and a deli with quite tasty banh mi and sweet & sour pork ribs. I didn't pick a particular sandwich so maybe they have just one variety but it's worth checking out. Been there twice now. Bread is like a Mexican bolillo roll so it has a nice crust and soft inside. Pickled vegetables have some noticeable tang and meat was a pâté and slices and together flavorful. For $6 you can't really beat it. Had the ribs too which are a little more expensive at $12/lb but sold hot and ready to eat but not available the second time I came but perhaps I a little early. read more

Friendly family owned and farm promoted grocer. Keep in mind that their name states Chinese. Don't be expecting American-Chinese stuff either or you'll be disappointed. Lots of teas, small produce, hot pot ingredients, spices, and a hunch else like any grocer. Five stars for the fact that they cover most of their bases when it comes to a grocer without compromise to the fact that it's Chinese. Hate places that say one thing, then will make it more "American" to appeal to the "masses." Remember: food adventures are out there. Oh my goodness! First time I've ever come in here, it's super nice and clean. It has exceedingly fresh produce from Fallbrook and Hemet...it's like going to a farmers market. It's produce includes baby bok choy, Daikon, Snow peas, oyster mushrooms fresh, Shiitake mushrooms fresh and locally grown and more. Also have loads of herbs for traditional Chinese medicine, you can ask and tell your symptoms or ailments and they'll give you some awesome suggestions for certain herbs, how to prepare it, and dosage. Friendly family owned grocery, nice to have all chinese food choices, unlike other stores that have mostly philipino groceries. Prices are a steal, they even have baby bok choy by the bag. Family ran grocery store by friendly welcoming family. Chinese focused but does include other Asian (Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai) goods and staple ingredients. They have a fresh mostly Asian vegetable section, a great selection of teas and teapot sets, some shelves dedicated to cooking utensils, food containers, and pots, pans, and steamers, and some shelves with small cooking appliances like rice cookers or electric spice grinders. It also looks like they're loading up with more items for the empty shelves in the back (can't wait to see). They have some refrigerated goods like Asian drinks and some frozen items like wrappers and dumplings. They keep the store pretty clean and well organized and if you have questions they'll help you out. Some items are also better priced than the other Asian markets in the area.
