My son has been receiving services from CBC for close to 2 years. We started at about 30 hours a…read moreweek and are now at about 8 hours per week. This treatment, along with speech and occupational therapy, my son (now 6.5) is a cooperative, kind and safer kid. He used to run away when at grocery stores/Target, throw 2+ hour tantrums when he was not aloud to push the button on a elevator or car door or comply with parental direction. I know every autistic kid is different, but this made a HUGE difference in his life and our family life. Less anxiety for mom and dad when going on outings, able to attend parties with out being concerned about issues with sharing toys or play equipment and he is able to transition between prefered and non prefered activities (e.g., homework). I have heard horror stories about other ABA providers. That the therapist are glorified babysitters. CBC supervisors and therapist truely care about the kids. They develop the program goals with parents to address the individual concerns which can be executed both when the therapist is there or just for parents to execute. For instance, my son was always throwing a 2+ hour tantrum when he was not allowed to press the garage door button (to open or close it). The Supervisor, Christina, worked with me to develop a program with colored cards (green= he could push it, red= someone else would push it). It too 6 months for him to master the program. Now, he doesn't give it a second thought whuch means I don't have to plan to have a big ordeal just to get in the car or in the house. I do not hesitate, ever, to recommend CBC to other parents who are struggling and need help that works from a reputable and caring team of providers.

Let me start by saying Jen is absolutely amazing! She is kindhearted, genuine and compassionate!…read moreShe truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. We interviewed a lot of doulas before deciding to hire Jen. I had honestly already selected a doula I wanted and almost cancelled the consultation appointment with Jen but something told me to keep it and I am so glad I did. After chatting with her I knew she was the one. Her energy and calming voice was exactly what I knew I needed! Jen has been there for me EVERY step of the way on this wild rollercoaster to motherhood! She is always just a text or call away and the amount of time I've called her and spent an hour or more on the phone with her just crying, venting, laughing or bouncing thoughts with her. She's quickly become one of my dear friends! At my birth she was pivotal, and kept me calm by helping with breathing tactics and pain management tools. She even helped me push my baby out. I am so grateful to have walked this journey and to keep walking this journey with you Jen! Thankfully we also added on her postpartum package and she has been spoiling me with yummy meals, foot and back massages, sitz baths and loving on my son. Jen is an absolute gem and I highly recommend her! Oh and I almost forgot she captured my birth beautifully too with photos and videos. And the education she gives during her prenatal visits are like nothing else any other doula does. Most doulas start there visits in late 3rd trimester and show up at the birth. Jen walked along this ENTIRE journey with me. I am so grateful to her for everything!

Jen did a variety of tasks for me and was willing to do whatever was helpful for that week's visit - laundry, trash, changing bedsheets, cooking, caring for the baby, and multiple self care activities for me as a recovering mama! It was so nice and I highly recommend her
