This was our first time visiting The Qui, and we were really looking forward to celebrating my birthday. We came for lunch around 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so we expected attentive service, but unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had. Our waiter never introduced himself or even told us his name. He didn't ask everyone at the table for their drink orders, nor did he explain how the ordering process worked. Since it was our first visit, we had questions about the menu and whether we were supposed to order for the entire table or individually. Instead of helping us understand, he seemed visibly frustrated that we were asking questions. As first-time guests, we expected patience and a brief explanation--not annoyance. The overall customer service was cold and unwelcoming. We eventually asked to speak with a manager, and the waiter told us there wasn't one available, which honestly made no sense, especially during business hours. The condition of the women's restroom was also unacceptable. The floor was extremely slippery, creating a safety hazard. There was no toilet paper and no toilet seat covers available, which reflects poorly on the restaurant's attention to cleanliness and maintenance. It's unfortunate because we were genuinely excited to try The Qui and celebrate a special occasion. Great food can be overshadowed by poor service and neglected facilities, and that's exactly what happened here. We left disappointed and don't see ourselves returning unless there are significant improvements in both customer service and overall management.

We enjoy Korean BBQ and this is one of our favorite spots. Most recently, we dined on a Saturday night and the waiters were very prompt. We noticed there were two sides of the restaurant, each had 1-2 waiters/waitresses assigned per side. They seemed to be rather busy, so we were surprised by his attentiveness. The restaurant offered generous portion sizes of their meats and when we asked for a mush smaller portion than normal, just to try something new he was happy to oblige! Our favorite from here is always the spicy beef bulgogi and spicy pork belly. The new items we tried were the masala honey butter chicken- if you like Indian food, you will enjoy it! I wasn't sure what to expect but thought it was surprisingly good. My husband who is not a fan of regular Indian dishes did not care for it. We also tried the Orange beef bulgogi. Neither of us cared for this one, but if you love the taste of oranges.. you will love it! It was VERY orange tasting, we were expecting just a hint of orange. Overall we had a great experience here. Even being busy, it didn't seem loud. I will say because of how dark it is, after eating Korean BBQ does make you a bit sleepy.

This AYCE Korean BBQ place still remains one of the top options for me. Being in NOVA; KBBQ are plenty to come by. But The Qui has remained consistently good in my opinion. My last experience here was great from start to finish. The meats were seasoned just right, portions were large and stellar customer service from our waitress. What more could you ask for?

Omg!!!!! Honestly - after a 40 minute wait, not worth it!! At all. And to make matters worse, the server sucked.his name was Deurim. He was not attentive, he seemed very preoccupied, we had to flag him down constantly, and his attitude just threw me and my friend off he was not a welcoming or pleasant server. This was my first time there but my friend has been a few times and he was even appalled at the horrible service. The food quality - seemed worse than Iron Age. My friend ordered cheese corn and it was literally water and corn with a small piece of cheese that didn't melt, the steamed egg was not fresh, and as you see below the steak came with such a thick tendon down the middle and looked unappetizing. We also ordered orange bulgogi and it tasted like artificial orange and just overall WEIRD. Will not return

I remember those days when I had to drive an hour to Annandale to get really, good KBBQ at places like Kogiya. I'm glad I no longer have to drive that far! Qui is so close to me and it's as good as it gets. I have a feeling the Chateau next door and Qui are owned by the same owner because the décor here is also spectacular just like Chateau. It has its own character though. The massive pipe light work on the wall is quite an industrial statement. The best KBBQ places are set apart by the quality of their meat. I don't think you can get any better level of meat than what Qui offers except maybe Wagyu and Kobe in Japan. Qui has multiple options. An unlimited buffet option with some basic meats, another unlimited buffet option with meats plus seafood, and then a non-buffet set of selected meats. You cannot order single dishes. We always go with the basic buffet option. Beef brisket is always our first choice to ease into it. We also quite like garlic pork belly and chicken. We don't usually order chicken at a KBBQ place but the chicken here tastes quite good so we always get it at least once. Don't forget to order the side dishes too! The egg, the soup, and the rice cakes! Yum! The crowd is not predictable in my experience. Sometimes, we came on Fridays and weekends expecting an hour's wait, but there was no wait. Sometimes, an hour's wait is pretty standard. Once you get seats though, you're well taken care of because the staff works fast!

The food was great! Same with the service, one of the waiter's helped me in a awkward situation, because I was trying to say thank you to the same waiter in Korean. Ambiance was top tier, and the background music was calm and relaxed.

I'm sorry to say I haven't previously had much experience with Korean BBQ. But I'm also glad to have had dinner here as a first experience. The food was quite tasty, and the atmosphere was casual and friendly. I think our server was very new, just based on having to get answers to a couple of questions. But he also grilled and prepared all the meats for us. In fact the only "hands on" we had to do for our dinner was peeling the shrimp. The "basic" selections. The specialty cocktails were interesting and eye-appealing, but the house cocktails were made just as well and several dollars cheaper. A few things could have been better. Your table comes with an assortment of sides, which, to my pleasure, included kimchi. But it was room temperature, which to me makes it much less palatable. The standard meats can have a bit of gristle, chew, fat, etc., so you may want to spend the $$ for a premium meat to be included. Your all-you-can-eat experience is 90 minutes, and it would be nice if your server gave you a head's up about it, rather than just abruptly dropping the check on the table. But these are little things. The overall experience was quite enjoyable.

This AYCE korean bbq is right next to my house so i HAVE to try it. First of, the parking is plenty in the back but a little tight in the front of the restaurant! We were seated after 10 minutes (we stopped by for lunch) and they weren't crowded. They had maybe 2 servers when we were there. Food came out within 5 minutes but it did took them a bit to take our order. I had requested the lettuce platter and it was $5 extra . The brisket here was pretty unseasoned so make its perfect with the sauce. We also tried chicken masala and it's perfectly seasoned. AYCE price is $36 which is pretty decent! The ambiance was big and not too overwhelming and lots of space. I would recommend this place for korean bbq craving day!

Came here on a Friday evening at 7 expecting there to be at least a 30 minute wait, but it was less than 10 minutes. Service was also very friendly and prompt right as our group entered. Once we were seated, all our sauces and side dishes and a pitcher of water were already on the table which was nice. We were able to order right away and barely waited for all our meats as well. You have to request sesame oil if you want the sesame oil dip for the bbq by the way. Our server was super attentive and cooked all of our meats for us and distributed them to each person as well. Overall, our table had a great experience! Would definitely return with different groups of people too.

FOOD We had their regular AYCE option for a table of 9 right when it opened. The range of options was really good for the price range, and the 90 minute limit was a lot more than I thought. *Thin-sliced brisket: 7/10 *Beef bulgogi: 10/10, so juicy and flavorful! *Orange beef bulgogi: 3/10; juicy and flavorful but the orange aftertaste was a little too strong for me *Spicy beef bulgogi: 8/10 *Top blade steak: 7/10 *Honey butter squid: 7/10 *Shrimp: 5/10 DRINKS They have an array of soft drinks and signature cocktails available. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! Our server was really accommodating for not only our table but also for the myriad around us as well. AMBIANCE The high ceilings inside the restaurant make for a roomy experience. The smoke can get in your face so I did wish there was an exhaust fan by the table. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot behind the store.

A solid favorite in the NOVA area for Korean BBQ. They give you plenty of meats, I taste like quality, they don't give a ton of fatty pieces, and the prices are reasonable. Honestly I've went to a ton of spots in the area and this is still a staple. I can't ask for better! The service is always great they're super attentive and kind. I didn't have to wait super long for a party of two. They have a lot of great deals. The inside is pretty cool. It's not fancy, it's more of a casual spot. However, I do see people come and celebrate events. I think they have different events too. My favorites: He cocktails are great The spicy bulgogi both beef and pork The top blade The honey masala butter chicken Thinly sliced brisket

My all time favorite kbbq spot is The Qui in Chantilly! The quality of meats is always very good, and I love the AYCE options! The service this time was ok, hence the 4 stars. Our waiter was very absent and we cooked all the meats ourselves. I love their banchan, with pickled onions and cucumbers, kimchi, salad with peanut sauce, pink daikon, potato salad, cold sesame broccoli ! We ordered seconds of all!! When we ordered squid, it came in a container and we were unsure how to cook it. When we asked for guidance, he looked at us strangely and told us to put it on the grill. We had it going in the container the whole time bc it looked like it would cook like cheesy corn. The ambience was good, we can closer to 5:30, and it wasn't too crowded. We didn't wait long. They do have a 90 minute dining in restriction but that was enough time to eat!

Very generation portions: Thin brisket and top blade steak

At that time, only parking was at Emerick Elementary School, but there's also closer parking at the community center lot. I actually opted to park in a residential neighborhood, as the street was closer to the event. Well, good thing is dogs are allowed. And I remember it was a "rain or shine" event, which was good, seeing as how it certainly was drizzling at the time -- and likely had rained well before then. A lot of food trucks at the event, in the Fireman's Field area. I beheld a Fords Fish Shack truck, one for a pizza I'd never heard of, and some kind of southern or soul food. No idea of anything, and kinda glad I saw the food truck for the "What the Heck BBQ" at last. This was my first time ordering something here, so at the food truck I just asked for popular choices, and went to knock 'em both out. Brisket and Pulled Pork topped the list, so I got a 2-meats plate with them both, and with flavored Mac and Cheese and Texas Baked BBQ Beans on the side. Packed three small cups of BBQ sauce, one regular and the others of the spicy variant. Ate out at one of the lone picnic tables near the entrance to the park. It was a nice afternoon and the rain had stopped. The brisket was good and so was the pulled pork. I liked the sides more than the main dish, for some reason. Mac and cheese was heavenly but prob had a lot of calories packed in. BBQ beans were spot on, and complimented the meat with their own BBQ sauces. All in all, a close home run and well done for what was essentially a to-go order -- yeah, planning was not outstanding. All in all, great food truck selling barbecue meat and foods.
