Spicy salmon apple martini Crunch rice

New restaurant that was really busy so I was looking forward to trying it out! Inside looks nice and the waiters were friendly. However, if you come definitely just stick to the meat and not the sushi. Meat has some areas where it can improve but overall was great quality. The sushi although not fishy was a miss. The price is also pretty high Spicy salmon apple martini - covered in masago sauce, really just eh. Much prettier than the taste. 3/10 Crunch rice - so bland and not good at all 2/10 Sushi and roll set for 2 - fish was not fishy but also nothing too special. Rice was not seasoned. The roll was kinda terrible, extremely bland and off tasting 3/10 Beef and pork set b? - meats are actually good quality and first three I think were very good! My friends said good but salty but I think they were just good. It went downhill with the last one which was way overly marinated/ seasoned and so heavy I couldn't finish it. Good portion size 7.5/10

My husband and I decided to have a spontaneous dinner date at Laku Korean Grill & Sushi, and it was absolutely amazing! It truly deserves a 5-star rating! We chose Combo A from their signature combo menu. The sashimi was incredibly fresh. Every single side dish was bursting with flavor. We chose beef brisket and pork galbi out of 4 options. The server inquired about our preferred meat temperature, and both were grilled to perfection. The quality of the meat was outstanding. To top it off, we had cold buckwheat noodles, which were served in a generous portion and were so refreshing. The service was top-notch. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Edward, who was very warm and welcoming. Our server, Ryan, was also friendly and exceptionally attentive. The restaurant was impressively clean overall. Upon entering, you notice it is divided into two sections. I would love to try their omakase sometime. The interior had a modern yet distinctly Korean/Japanese vibe. The ambiance was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

Laku is a newly opened Korean grill and sushi restaurant located in Centre Ridge Marketplace in Centreville. It offers some of the finest Korean cuisine in the DMV, with clean, healthy, and authentic dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. The restaurant features a full sushi bar with a diverse selection of sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, and nigiri, as well as premium à la carte BBQ options. The service is attentive and professional; the experienced staff clearly explain the dishes and ensure a great dining experience. We particularly enjoyed the full Korean BBQ experience, where staff expertly grilled our meats before us and consistently refreshed the freshly prepared side dishes. The atmosphere is stunning--clean, spacious, stylish, and accented with authentic Korean design elements. - All side dishes were outstanding, clean-tasting, and perfectly complemented the à la carte options and Korean BBQ grilled meats. - The pancake sampler offered exceptional value at $11, featuring generous servings of savory, delicious, and diverse Korean shrimp and beef pancakes. - The Squid Ceviche, prepared with fresh squid and crispy vegetables like cabbage in a spicy chilled broth, was ideal for hot summer days--tasty, refreshing, and perfectly spicy. - The Marinated Short Rib, pork jowl, and brisket were all premium-quality cuts that delivered excellent flavor.

Since I knew Sony Chef was from Yuraku, I already expected the sushi to be good, so we only tried the sushi and sashimi at first. They kindly served us muksabal (cold acorn jelly soup) on the house, and the seasoning was so delicious that it immediately made me think, "Wow, their Korean food must be great too." It's hard to find Korean restaurants in Virginia that truly satisfy that authentic Korean restaurant craving. We sometimes even drive to New Jersey just for Korean food. This restaurant fills that gap perfectly. I highly recommend the grilled pork ribs (dwaeji galbi), naengmyeon, and assorted Korean pancakes (modeum jeon). My mother-in-law especially loved the food and said it tasted exactly like the dishes she used to enjoy in Busan years ago. We will definitely be coming back! I wish I am rich to come back every weekend. I am so glad that I live around here too.

I ordered the Pork Spare Rib Plate and the Ono Chopped Pork Plate. The plates come with your choice of seasoned rice or Hawaiian rolls, plus two sides. --Ono Chopped Pork Plate - 4/5: I got the furikake-seasoned rice, mac n cheese, and baked beans. I loved the rice and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was pretty good but could've used a little more salt. The chopped pork was tender, but it was a little dry for me. --Pork Spare Rib Plate - 4/5: I got the furikake-seasoned rice, honey mustard potato salad, and coleslaw. The potato salad and coleslaw were just okay, but the spare ribs were so good--super tender and falling right off the bone!! --Just Chili (bowl): Topped with cheese and onions. I thought it was a little salty on its own, but I bet it'd be really good with the Hawaiian rolls. I'd definitely recommend the pork spare ribs, especially with the seasoned rice and baked beans. I'll definitely be back to grab a pound of the spare ribs! The restaurant is inside a brewery, which is a pretty cool setup. It's a self-pour tap house with lots of tables and open space, so it's a great place to hang out with friends or family. The staff was really friendly too!

AYCE kbbq in centreville!…read more I went here with my family who was in town to have some kbbq that was relatively close to where I live. The pricing was a little expensive on the kids side ($20 each) for my toddlers and they definitely did not eat $20 worth. They measure according to height and my 3 year old is on the tall side (thanks to her dad) Other than that, the options were simple. they have limited options and I'm not mad about it! It was focused on flavor and quality rather than 200 things on the item. The buttered squid was sooooo good! I ordered a few of those. Our waiter also was super sweet and accommodating and attentive. It's a very chill atmosphere and has loud r&b/kpop music Def a place to chill and drink with friends

This is a review for all people who have been going to Meat Project for a while now and new people…read morewho are interested. Tonight, it was our usual outing as a family to Meat Project for their all you can eat meat and great affordable price. However, our family was very disappointed in the overall service, quality of side dishes and meat, and the owner and server with how they treated us. We ordered couple different meats like pork belly, brisket, and gopchang. We decided to order some lettuce wraps for our meat, which is a common and delicious Korean tradition and combo to wrap with our meat with a special Korean sauce called ssamjang that make the perfect bite everytime. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, while we were eating our meat, our lettuce wraps were being delayed. Now we are fine with waiting but the issue was that our main server told us multiple times when we questioned about the extended delay that our lettuce wraps were "coming out soon" and "the kitchen was preparing it". After the 45 minutes, we decided that since we were basically almost full with our appetites, and coming to a Korean traditional meat BBQ restaurant, we couldn't miss eating it the way we expected, the owner was called so that we could try to get a better explanation and figure out why this was a first time issue for us. The owner who was a Korean woman, advised to us that they had run out of lettuce and they had deliberately rushed to buy more. However, when the "lettuce wraps" we ordered finally came out on our table, it was romaine lettuce which was cut in very thin strips, clearly not suitable for wrapping meat and other veggies and sauce included. The owner then explained to us they had accidentally bought the wrong type of lettuce and apologized the inconvenience. additionally, our main server/waiter was also very delayed in bringing us other side dishes and meat that we requested at a suitable time for us to enjoy, which added to us losing our appetite even further, which we decided even then to let this slide as we could see it was a busy night. After all of this back and forth, the service manager, our waiter, our host, and the owner of the restaurant never managed to apologize to us for making a mistake on their ends, and how they had been informing us incorrectly that the lettuce was "coming out soon". The owner then decided to let us know that we were free to leave, advised us that we didn't need to pay our bill, and never come back again with the most utmost horrendous and unprofessional attitude, making us look like we were the in the wrong. This was clearly a bad night for us after this outcome, after coming here regularly as frequent customers. We warn all of those families who frequent this location. I promise you that I would never go this far , and I guarantee you I am not the type of person to be a Karen, but this simply could not just slide. As a Korean family, we are truly disappointed.

At that time, only parking was at Emerick Elementary School, but there's also closer parking at the community center lot. I actually opted to park in a residential neighborhood, as the street was closer to the event. Well, good thing is dogs are allowed. And I remember it was a "rain or shine" event, which was good, seeing as how it certainly was drizzling at the time -- and likely had rained well before then. A lot of food trucks at the event, in the Fireman's Field area. I beheld a Fords Fish Shack truck, one for a pizza I'd never heard of, and some kind of southern or soul food. No idea of anything, and kinda glad I saw the food truck for the "What the Heck BBQ" at last. This was my first time ordering something here, so at the food truck I just asked for popular choices, and went to knock 'em both out. Brisket and Pulled Pork topped the list, so I got a 2-meats plate with them both, and with flavored Mac and Cheese and Texas Baked BBQ Beans on the side. Packed three small cups of BBQ sauce, one regular and the others of the spicy variant. Ate out at one of the lone picnic tables near the entrance to the park. It was a nice afternoon and the rain had stopped. The brisket was good and so was the pulled pork. I liked the sides more than the main dish, for some reason. Mac and cheese was heavenly but prob had a lot of calories packed in. BBQ beans were spot on, and complimented the meat with their own BBQ sauces. All in all, a close home run and well done for what was essentially a to-go order -- yeah, planning was not outstanding. All in all, great food truck selling barbecue meat and foods. Great Mac 'n cheese by the way. Who knows, hopefully one day I'll swing by the store in Chantilly at least once.
