Highly recommend if you are looking for the most dysfunctional management. The apartment looked nice at first, but it has lots of hidden problems. Our sink was leaking with mold growing inside. The paint is extremely cheap and collects marks very easily and they will charge you for it when you move out. On the flip side, the location is good. If you like surprising charges after years of moving out, i think that would be your place. read more

I live here for over 1 year, most of the staff are nice but I have to give negative star is possible for shady Accouting practice. You must check your autopay to them one time they over charge me and debit from my bank account about 7-8K. I had to catch them and they couldn't explain what happen nor apology and took few weeks to get my money back. Now is over 2 month and I been asking them for my deposit check back and claim it was mail 2x , no proof nothing and they don't pick up calls. read more

They will do everything to add charges after moving out. I hired a professional cleaning service and cleaned the carpets before leaving, but they still added $120 in carpet cleaning and cleaning fees. All the wall was picture-perfect. I didn't find out about it until trying to get my security deposit back a year later. Anybody currently living here is better off trashing the apartment and peeing on the carpets. Anybody looking to move into this property should look elsewhere. They are super friendly when you are looking to sign but once you are on and plane to move they will rape you with fees and kick you to the curb on the way out. The management team are all thieves! Be careful living here they have a lot of hidden fees and they mark up these fees a lot just to trick you. Don't move out during the beginning or the middle of the month, because you will not receive a refund of the balance from your prepaid rent. Don't expect the landlord to paint or carpet for the next tenant without charging you for it. Oh, and know that you will be charged enough fees after move-out so that you can be billed again some more the following month. As if living at the Quincy wasn't bad enough...and you paid for it(!)...and you pay for it...and you will pay for it again. read more

Once again my trash was not taken out. The past year I've lived here all the neighbors know what a terrible service this is and one of the major reasons I am considering to move out and would never recommend to others to live here. This is around the 10 the time this has now happened. This time they deliberately tossed out some of the trash from the bin. This is not acceptable. Considering I pay around $2000 for rent a month and an additional fee for this "service" I expect the services to be performed. And then there's the leasing department. Sure they're nice or are they a little on the creepy side? I've gotten a call saying that my dogs were barking really loudly enough that they could hear it from the leasing apartment. Which is nice that they care, but also blaming me for something that my dogs didn't do considering i was outside at the dog park with my dogs when they called. Not near my apartment at all. I've also gotten a call asking if they could come in because they thought they heard a loud machine running for the past 3 hours. Like sure that's great that you round through all the apartments several times a day?? It was my roomba. And then, apparently they will hold you hostage in your apartment for not signing a notice to vacate form 60 days before your lease ends. My lease just says I need to send a notice that I'm not renewing. But now they want an extra months rent because my email apparently doesn't count. They're just money hungry thieves. read more

I lived here for a year and am relieved to have moved out now. The apartment finishes are of cheap quality even though you're paying for "luxury." The front staff come across as very friendly, but I found them to come up with bizarre reasons to be unhelpful. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of hidden fees and extra charges to living here. It's not worth it. I found out that at least 3 other colleagues of mine who work in New Brunswick separately decided to move out of this building due to the low value overall. read more

Pros: The apartment looks really nice and the amenities are great! I have lived here for several months and the apartment has averaged 2 events per month. The staff and concierge are really nice and helpful, they get 5 stars. The annual amenity fee is $500 and over time I see that it is worth it. The amenities are 24/7 except for the pool (which is 100% understandable and probably by law), but you can still lounge on the rooftop deck 24/7. The gym is a really good size with good equipment, lots of TVs, and even TRX. The 24/7 amenities was one of the main things that separated The Quincy from other apartments in New Brunswick for me. If I recall correctly our neighbors' amenities shut down at 10pm and other complexes' amenities don't add up to the Quincy. Location location LOCATION! The apartment location is perfect, you can easily walk to restaurants, lounges, clubs, the train station, theatre, etc. I really like the convenience and will appreciate it even more now that winter is near. Grey Areas: So in the past few months we have had electricity outages 1-2times a month. I'm not sure why but this is becoming the new norm. No wipes or disinfectant in the gym to wipe machines down after using. I have lived here for less than 6mos and have had 2 issues with the package concierge (This is moreso the package concierge and delivery ppl's problem not the apartment. The apartment staff has gone out of their way each time to help resolve the issues, again 5 stars for them.) The kitchen cabinets are not super functional because they lack depth...you only notice this once you start packing your items into them. There is no free parking for your guests so they have to pay and park in the street, or fight for future residents parking spots in front of the building after office hours (if they park there during office hours they risk getting towed. The apartment makes this clear so you know it's a risk) Cons: HORRIBLE SOUND PROOFING. I pay $2K plus a month for rent and can hear my neighbors talking in their living room, I hear every footstep from neighbors above me, dogs barking, every passing sound from the hallway, and I also hear when my neighbor takes a shower, flushes the toilet, talks in their bedroom, or has sex. I have already had several sleepless nights staring at the ceiling. I don't believe (most of) my neighbors are loud there is just poor sound proofing. (I didn't notice the poor sound proofing until people started moving in around and above me...so the 1st few months with no neighbors was lovely.) Also, I am fearful to make any noise or have confidential conversations in my apartment because I am certain that everyone around me can hear me as well. The dishshwasher and refrigerator are brand name but the basic version of the brand. This standard is not in alignment with the other appliances so no filtered water from the fridge (I believe some apartments have this and others do not). Furthermore, there are huge, old school hotel like, loud ac/heat units this is not central air. The units don't tell you the indoor temperature it only tells you what you can turn the temperature to. Also, these ac/heat units are a sore eye and take up space. My last con is the ever ending additional fees that you have to pay. Fee #1 $150/mo for one shared spot in the parking garage. Nope I'm not whining here. Hear me out. This parking garage is open to the public and is also shared with the businesses around us. So if you travel to work and are gone between 8am-5pm you will most likely have no problems with parking. However, I work from home and always have to drive several floors up in order to get a parking spot when I run errands and get home between 8-5 due to all of the non residents parking in the garage. Fee #2 $35/mo for valet trash. Sure it is nice to have someone pick your trash up Sun-Thur 6pm-10pm... however, your trash has to fit in their trash bin which is not enough space for a small family unless you take your trash out everyday. That sucks because now I am using so many trash bags. Also, if you have boxes you have to break them down and tie them together...what? No, writing trash on it will not do. I have often been frustrated and simply walked my many Amazon boxes to the dumpster to find absolutely no space for my items. Ok, last fee...Fee #3 other than your normal utilities and the annual $ 500 amenity fee (which is probably worth it) there is a $5/mo service fee for the apartment to pull your rent, trash, and I think your water bill together into one bill...this is not written in the lease and it's just an extra annoyance. PRO TIP: Ask the apartment about what type of dogs are allowed before moving in. Also, if you currently live here or have already signed a lease maybe consider noise canceling headphones...I am hoping to score some quality ones on black friday...smh read more

I contacted THE QUINCY today (5/27/2020) to get information on leasing and the girls representing this "luxury" property aren't service minded and they have no clue what phone etiquette is. On the website you are notified that they aren't doing in person tours. I browsed the internet and noticed a few discrepancies that was a bit of a concern. So I called the number on the site and Corryn Ferguson answers the call with an attitude. Please quit your job if you can't be warm when speaking to new potential customers whom will be paying for these "luxury rentals." I asked her about the square footage and price difference because they do not have a compare button. Her response was " I don't have a clue what you're speaking of." I told her it's under floor plans and suggested that she look at the website so we can be on the same page. She was annoyed when looking for the listing while huffing and puffing about not being knowledgeable ABOUT A BUSINESS YOU ARE IN. It is imperative you hire competent and customer focused individuals. I told Corryn Ferguson she was being a bit unprofessional and her tone wasn't welcomed. She kept speaking down to me and I scratched my head wondering if this was a building in a back alley some where. I then said, may I speak to a manager...... From bad to terrible... Brittney Toscanini gets on the call and her tone is on 10. She didn't ask me how could she could be of assistance. She spoke as if she was doing me a favor even taking the call. The tone and my first impression had been ruined so I asked for a manager above her. She gives me a telephone number and tells me to call Phoenix Arizona for help. If this is how you handle business why would I spend $2500+ to live at your location???! I've spoken to several "luxury" rentals in Jersey for the last 3 days and I've had them Zoom, FaceTime, and answer all questions and/or concerns without me coming to the location. If you can't get help during a pandemic they won't be courteous after you spend your money. I won't give anyone my money who employs such uncouth and unprofessional employees. We've lived here for a few months, and so far so good. The communal spaces are well maintained, the pool was very nice in the summer, and the staff are super friendly. We toured other apartments in the area at similar price points, and the gym and the pool were two of the main reasons why we chose this place. The place is also very pet friendly and has a pet park, which is really great for us. Any maintenance needed in the apartment (so far, its just been light bulb replacements) is addressed same day via an electronic system that is very easy to use. I'm knocking off a star because of the parking situation. It was made clear to us that spaces were not included in your rent, which was fine. But what wasn't made clear was that because my husband and I live in a one bedroom apartment, we were only allotted one spot in the connected garage. (If you live in a two-bedroom, you get two spots.) One of us has to park down the street (sorry babe!) That would have been good to know up front. read more

Very pretty stylish seems like a quiet building fir a busy area nicely built from my view of a tour.

As others have said, they will rip you off with ridiculous cleaning and other hidden fees at move out. Avoid this place.

So far, I have had a wonderful experience at the Quincy. The common areas remain EXTREMELY clean and pleasant looking at all times. Every room is so inviting, it's hard to go back to my apartment. I also think all of the electronic communication has been very timely and professional. read more

Friendly neighbors.. you can have good conversations through the wall. You'll feel like a college dorm. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating at first, but they disappear quickly. They lied that there were two parking spaces, and on the day I moved, was told there was only one. You're charged a mandatory monthly trash fee, but you will be fined if your trash bag accidentally falls to the ground. It's funny that they don't take the trash from time to time and residents are being fined and when I complained, Brittany comes up that my dog peed inside the building and I didn't clean it. My dog never pees inside the building and I did not get any response when I asked for a video clip or photo (the building has security cameras). When you move out, maintenance personnel will come and ask for cash for a much cheaper painting job than Quincy asks. No matter how you clean, you have to pay ridiculous costs for cleaning fees. Don't be fooled by positive feedback as they request residents to post good reviews when they move in. If you decide to move in under any circumstances... talk to David when you run into any problems in the apartment. read more

Management and staff are very uptight and nosey. Seem to always be looking for ways to make money off of their residents. The coffee machine is just about always broken. The folks they rent to seem to be mostly college aged, foreigners, whose parents are most likely paying their rents. Rather then having BBQ's with hotdogs and hamburgers, perhaps they should look at maybe having a Curry and Rice party or something, better suited to the Q's residency..Just a thought/suggestion. read more

The "luxury" is to be found only in its price tag. Pay attention to the negative reviews. They don't exaggerate. With the Valet trash fee (which is required), you pay for the pleasure of seeing and smelling all the neighbors' trash as you head down the the long hallways, treading carpets that are filthy, never vacuumed, and collecting whatever litter or pet waste is thrown their way. Even inside your own unit, the stench lingers as noise reverberates from the units all around you. Feel free to complain. The management will even pretend to care. But if you value a clean or quiet home, this is not the place for you. read more
