Overall pretty average. Worth trying if you get something that isn't simple. I didn't get a specialty drink as it was just an iced coffee with milk and caramel, however my girlfriend got the "little J" smoothie and there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. The prices aren't too bad but are higher considering the simplicity of both drinks. The bar garden area definitely adds something unique.

Nice coffee / breakfast spot in downtown Gettysburg. My son and I got bagel sandwiches. They were good and hit the spot! The coffee was good too. We also had a scone while we waited. It was good as well. Three "goods" for the win!!

This was a cool little two story coffee shop in downtown Gettysburg. I enjoyed a London fog with lavender (piping hot) in the upstairs loft. The assortment of drinks pleased my friends, and the chic, hipster vibe was interesting in this PA town.

A very literal coffee house (in a former house) and the perfect antithesis of the sterile and corporate feel of the Starbucks just two blocks away. Warm and inviting with plants and books and artwork everywhere the eye falls. I used to have family in town and try to get here each visit. Stopped in here this morning with my girlfriend and eight-year-old son. My son got a plain bagel with cream cheese and a smoothie and loved both. My girlfriend got a coffee, smoothie and breakfast sandwich and liked all three. I got a chai and a breakfast sandwich. Loved the sandwich but wasn't a fan of the chai. Maybe I'm ruined by the over sweetness of chai from other coffee shops, but this one tasted a little dull and even a touch of saltiness to it that I wasn't expecting. Overall a super cozy and chill vibe with a great menu and friendly staff. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Super cute place great location and friendly staff. Their coffee is local and it's delicious! I've had coffee there as well as smoothies and juices, all delicious. The coffee you can also buy beans and they'll ground it for you. The inside is so cozy and eclectic and showcases local artwork. There's indoor and outdoor seating and two levels. They have a variety of fair milk substitute options as well.

I spent 3 mornings here and I was really pleased with this coffee shop tucked away in downtown Gettysburg. The coffee was fantastic and they had a really nice space. If you purchase a large coffee you get free refills, which was actually really awesome. You can drink the first cup in the store and then just before you leave, fill 'er up again. I really appreciated this. Would be a great spot to read the paper, meet with friends or get some work done. There were a lot of tables and space to spread out. I enjoyed just sipping my coffee while in their room filled with art from local artists. It was a nice touch to a local coffee shop. They even have a section of books written by local authors. That's the kind of thing you want from a locally owned shop, a connection and commitment to the community. Even though I was just a visitor for a weekend, I would plan on returning here if I ever come back to town. And I'll certainly recommend this shop as a place for friends to travel if they ever visit. I also really liked being able to check the time in Narnia so that I can make sure I don't get lost in time looking at the art!

Good food, and coffee-Sunday morning is BUSY-so the service is a little on the slow side. But, it's very much worth the wait.

Is this a solid place to stop for a vegan lunch? Impossible to find anywhere near Gettysburg. Thanks.

I wouldn't go there for anything. Underwhelming as a whole and overpriced.

My wife and I both had the shrimp baskets and two soft drinks for lunch. The shrimp baskets were $17 each and the soft drinks $3 each. With tax and tips the total bill came to $50. The shrimp were obviously pre-battered and frozen but they were pretty tasty. The french fries had some kind of a nice crispy coating and were excellent. The coleslaw was pretty tired. The service was cordial and quick. The decor is as I remembered very nice. There is free parking behind this restaurant, but not many people know it is there. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I think that the cost of the luncheon was a little more than it should've been for what we received. Had the shrimp been coated with a batter and fried from scratch (instead of being taken out of a frozen bag) I might've been able to award five stars. But... All in all this restaurant continues to hold its "very good to excellent" reputation for food and service over many years. I would die there again and I would recommend it with no reservations.

We were there on a busy Saturday; they were clearly slammed and probably understaffed, and it took a bit over 20 minutes after ordering to get our food. Other than the wait for the kitchen, the service at the table was very good. It felt a bit pricey at about $62 for two with tip. Cheesesteaks were good but on the small side for $17 and $19 (the latter on a gluten‑free bun), and a little light on the Cheese Whiz. That, plus a cider and a Coke, left the overall experience somewhat underwhelming.

We always are cheerfully greeted, and we are seated immediately because it was right after lunch and right before the dinner rush and we sat in the bar area on a high top and it worked out perfectly. Our server was outstanding. She came over got our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers which we did not get this time, but let me just say their appetizers are to kill for they are outstanding. As you can see in the photos, the burgers are done right they are nice and juicy and the toppings are just right in the buns are so fresh. It's crazy. So if you're in the Gettysburg Square area, we highly and I mean highly recommend stopping in here for either a burger or one of their other options which are all really good food well prepare prepared.

The meats and cheeses along with a nice selection of toppings are all so very fresh and flavorful ! We can't wait to try some of their Paninis and Breakfast Sandwiches . They look amazing ! The menu offers a very nice selection of sandwiches and salad's .... The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and seem to really have a passion for their job .
