Chai is usually very cautious with new people, but she surprised us by calmly greeting both Olivia and Joel and happily walking to the back without hesitation. That alone spoke volumes about how comfortable she felt there. We picked her up three days later and could tell she had a great stay. While the Equine Center itself is wonderful, avoid Dr. Dani Revers at all cost. We recently had an…read moreemergency and needed our horse put down and, unfortunately, our regular vet, Dr. Kalli, was not available. Dr. Revers was sent to our farm along with her tech, Abby. Upon arrival, Abby had us sign some papers and said, "you know you have to pay for this first." Dr. Revers then proceeded to approach our horse, Dudley, who was in serious distress. She did not attempt to acknowledge him or provide any kind of comfort whatsoever. She administered a sedative and without waiting until the sedative had a chance to take effect, she began administering the euthanasia drug. Dudley became extremely agitated and threw himself into the railing and struggled there for quite some time, getting his head hung up on the stall door. When it appeared she had not given him enough of the drug, she crawled over him, sat on his neck and started stabbing the needle into his neck with more drug. Dudley eventually passed. Either Dr. Revers or Abby said, "that was the most ungraceful one I have seen" as they joked with one another. At this point, Dr. Revers said to me, "Is there anything else we can do for you?" with a smirky laugh. We have had other horses put down, and I have to say this was the most unprofessional, uncompassionate, traumatizing experience we have ever had. Avoid Dr. Revers and Abby at all cost.

When we had to call her again because our old mare could not get up, she again came right out, gave us her honest but difficult opinion, and helped our beloved horse over the rainbow bridge with grace and dignity. Her bedside manner is excellent, her team are very professional yet extremely human and genuine in how they help their clients and owners, whether its calling daily to check on the patients or asking how the owners are doing, to giving me a hug after the hard decisions are made. I will not use any other equine vet out here, if I can help it at all. They are the best. Honestly. I have been in horses for a LONG time, been with MANY vets, and even tho I have had my favorites in the past, and I still consider them 5* vets, Dr. Dickenson and her team have them beat. She's a gem.

We have been bringing our dogs here since we discovered from a small note card on wall at the…read moreemergency hospital. It is like no other daycare or extended stay. Waggin tails is like joining a new family. Aspen and Wendy have made us and our dogs very happy. A 10 acre family home/ranch for dogs...amazing. their attitudes are positive and give you ease in all aspects of trusting your dog(s) are safe and treated like their own. No kennels which our dogs over the years elsewhere dreaded as did we. When our first boy Jazz got old, Aspen would sometimes curl up with him and comfort him...he loved being there as the vetted doggies were and still are all friendly dogs. Ease is a key concept for me in living and this jewel of a place defines that. Prices so reasonable it doesn't hurt....can't say enough good things...but try it you'll like it!!
