There were 30 of us, and we were pleased to all be able to fit into the common area. It was a great meeting space, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to enjoy our lunch. We spilled out onto the porches and grounds and enjoyed the views while we had lunch. When we broke off into groups into the different bedrooms to plan for upcoming events, we were impressed by the lovely decor and the design of the home overall. Walls are good or we had quiet guest because it felt like we were the only ones there the whole time even though it was sold out. It was mostly clean and comfortable. I did find a gum wrapper and hair in the made bed. We had mystery noises the whole stay. Our ac makes a loud noise every few minutes like a piece of plastic is banging on something internally. It didn't bother me except at night. The doors make the unlocking sound regularly even though nobody is there. Might lead Some to think Casper visits. There are only a few designated parking spots near building. Next door is the police station and behind is the stadium. You check in at guest services building and then walk behind to the hotel.

I'm not sure how other people set up or if it's always set up this way, but the main table was set up inside the largest room with a snack table set up next to it. The cake was set up on a pretty display in the room across from that. The DJ set up in the pavilion outside and we used the area in front of it as the dance floor. There was outside seating that we all took advantage of when it was time to do the first dance and everything else that comes with a wedding. There were waiters available to help serve drinks and clean up afterward. The bride and groom had actually set up a taco stand outside of the other exit so guests could go get tacos whenever they felt like it for the duration of the taco stand. It was a lot of fun and a great use of the limited space, imo. It didn't feel as tight as I was worried it would and everyone had a great time. I would totally love to come back here.

I simply love old places with history so this was right up my alley! The Como Inn is a full featured experience. Fully stocked with wonderful food, in an old building with multiple super comfy rooms. Check in/check out times are flexible which I also found as a nice Southern touch! Just use your manners. :-) The owners are just good, kind southern folk. If I didn't have to be in the wedding, I would have been just fine sitting out on the back great patio and shooting the sh*t with them. One thing to note, there is a long, shotgun staircase up to the room level so be aware of that should you have elderly or other similar needs. I consider myself old in my 50s and it is indeed a haul, but waits for you at the top of the stairs is an awesome experience! As far as the nearbys... plenty of food options from pub grub to Thia and Mexican and a steak house that clearly must be something because there were a line of people a block long wanting to get in there! There's also a store a few blocks up with all your basic needs including alcohol. I honestly wish we would have had more than one night and a rushed schedule as I could see myself spending an entire weekend trip there just to chill and we plan to do just that. A simple and wonderful experience!

It's about 22 steps up to the main level. First floor has a convivence store. We were in Room 6 which was great. The was a separate bedroom which is what we wanted. The room had - roll away bed - iron - blow dryer - cereal - milk - bottled water and OJ - coffee - Full kitchen with eat in area The bathroom was large and comfortable. The bed was great and I slept like a baby. The staff is very friendly and helpful Answered all my questions. There were extra snacks and water bottles available if needed. If I ever come back to Memphis I would DEFINITELY come back here. This place is across the street from the Peabody hotel so we went across to see the march of the ducks. lol
