I am giving the real real a second chance because I believe that mistakes can happen however I will never visit the Soho store due to the discriminatory practices, the very humiliating experience and because at the end I won the case and they have to deal with it, honestly they lucky i am very busy and don't care to counter suit a company that does the same numbers every years without progression... how will they pay me ? Anyways... second chance and they didn't failed to disappoint me, but before i get into what disappoint me i want to give a special shoutout to the team from Brooklyn location because they are absolutely amazing people, very welcoming, dropping off is a breeze, every employee even the security is nice and very respectful, unlike soho team (honestly i will fired everyone from soho and re hired better talents who can get the job done like the Brooklyn team do and i mean this in the most disrespectful way) now what's really disappointing is that not only you guys take forever to authenticate, tell us that it's authentic (like we didn't knew), take pictures, tell us that it will be posted soon, not give us an estimated price to see if we want to continue with their service, but nooo they post on they page without any details prior to the owner and once this item which is ridiculously discounted finally sells (example: retail price 1,050$, the real real price $285, the owner commission one month later $25 .... Horrible. This store is so bad. The RealReal in general is a horrible company. Lost consignments. No one to contact except rude people in India or txts that go unanswered. I was in NY and stopped by this place dispute all the horrible issues I've had with consigning. Hoping in store would be better. No. I was wrong. It was worse. Don't ever go here. I have purchased several items from the website with no problems so this review is totally based on consignment. Samantha Ogust was the luxury manager who reached out to me, she was incredibly nice and convincing. We scheduled a date and time for me to drop off my items at the Brooklyn location. I was unable to make it that day, Samantha reach out with a friendly text asking how i made out, once i dropped off my shoes the only other contact was when i reached out to her. Her answers to my text messages was vague so i decided to cut communication with her all together and reach out to customer service. The Real Real received my never worn-only tried on- Christian Louboutin shoes. Upon trying them on i scuffed the inside of the shoe, it was a light scuff,however, it was noticeable enough where i could not return them. I was told by Samantha my shoes would be authenticated then listed and the process takes no more than 2 weeks, i was also told i would receive up to 70% of the listing price. After about 3 1/2 weeks i reached out to Samantha and she basically just sent me a screenshot of what i already knew. I spoke to customer service several times and each time i was told my shoes was still being held at the consignment office and they could not explain why. A little over a month later i called back and was told they would file an investigation and this process would take 10 business days. 10 business days later my shoes still had not listed, i called customer service and spoke to several rude representatives. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for about 30 minutes, the rude women than hung on me. After several hours of trying to seek a resolution i spoke to someone who told me my shoes had posted 20 minutes earlier. 20 minutes earlier!! Does that mean they made me wait the entire 10 business days before listing them! On top of waiting 7 weeks for my shoes to be listed The Real Real was taking 55%. Bottom line, i told them to remove my shoes from the site and return them back to me. My experience with The Real Real left me to never want to purchase from their website again. Save yourself time and money and post your items on a site that will only ask for a small fee. Sadly i learned about these other sites after the fact but i immediately started receiving offers after posting my shoes. read more

I was on my way to having dinner with friends and decided to pop in and take a gander. The store was spacious and had the items displayed beautifully. There was a generous selection of items for women. While the items were used and some of the items was in great condition, I found the prices to be too high for some items. I felt like some items you were only saving 10% or so for buying it used. Perhaps, I wasn't looking at the right things but, I failed to see how this place offered any "deals". read more

I went in today because I was interested in a couple of watches as soon as I walked in the team was absolutely so warm and so welcoming. I walked over to the area with the watches, they were able to answer my question. They showed them to me.
