Don't look elsewhere for someone to paint your house, inside or out. Ten years ago I hired Calhoun Painting Company to paint the outside of my house. The crew arrived early in the morning, as they said they would. They worked hard all day, for four days. They cleaned up after themselves every single day; not a single water hose was left unrolled. At that time the company was run by John's dad, Mark. I posted a review then saying that I would hire Mark Calhoun and his crew again in a heartbeat. Now John runs the business. In the Spring 2026, I hired Calhoun Painting Company to paint the outside of my house. Just as before, they arrived early, worked hard in 100+ degree weather, and did a spectacular job! Most recently, I hired them again, this Summer 2026, to remove all of my popcorn ceilings (the entire house). Needless to say, it was a quite a job. It was supposed to take about a week, but ended up taking three. John, Eric, and Tyler ran into problem after problem, but John didn't budge from his original quote. Every day they showed up at the crack of dawn, taped the entire house with plastic, and worked extremely hard. They were meticulous about keeping the house as clean as possible (kinda hard to do when it comes to popcorn removal). Tyler and his wife even had a baby girl, Sunny, during the process (so Eric and/or John had to work without him for several days). Today they completed the job. When I arrived at my house, all the furniture was back in its place, the house was mopped, dusted, and the ceilings looked fantabulous!!!! These guys are honest, dependable, friendly, conscientious, talented--true professionals. They know what they're doing and they do it with style and grace. Calhoun Painting Company, John Calhoun, Eric, and Tyler are the best and I wanted everyone to know.

This past harsh winter damaged a lot of our shrubs and bushes. Since I had been wanting to replace…read morethem with some better landscaping anyway, this was the opportunity to do so. I found Lopez landscaping on Yelp and gave them a call. They came out and gave me an estimate that was comparable to another estimate I had done a few days earlier. Based on the pictures I saw on Yelp of their work and the conversations we had about what I wanted done, I decided to go with them. I could not be happier with the job they did. Jose and his team dug up and removed all of the dead and damaged shrubs and bushes and then cleaned the flower beds and planted new azaleas, hostas, pencil shrubs and other plants. They then mulched all of the beds and cleaned the area. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results. Anytime you find someone who does a good job at a fair price you continue to use them and recommend them. I highly recommend Lopez Landscaping and will definitely use their services in the future!!

One call to Darian and he was out and doing an estimate, he came up with a very reasonable price, and we agreed on the quote. His team showed up within days and fixed our issue with some very sturdy railroad ties that will probably outlast the house. We had one small issue with the pile to be picked up by the city and one phone call was all it took to make it right. This project was so successful that we asked him to bring an old in-ground sprinkler system back to life and he had someone out to check it out very quickly.
