Inside is really comfortable. *Disclaimer* I live in Dallas....these prices points were great! $20 for a bottle of mimosas. Husband ordered the smoked salmon scrambler and said it was great! I got the recovery plate. Eggs were perfectly scrambled. Bacon was crispy but not too much so and was a nice thick cut. I was really impressed by the hash brown casserole. Awesome flavors in there. I also got a side of oatmeal, thinking it was going to be a little cup, and it was a nice bowl. Brought over half of it back to eat later. Coffees: we orders the lavender love and cafe Leo. We leave tomorrow but I'll go back for that cafe Leo. 100%. All this was great, but what sealed the deal was Michelle. Barista? Check. Bartender? Check. Server? Check. Food runner? Check. Cashier? A hidden gem! My husband and I went to Jonesboro to look at a used truck and we popped in here for breakfast. What a cozy and relaxing spot! The coffee was hot and plentiful, and our breakfasts were delicious and made with care. The bacon here is absolutely spectacular!!! thick, smoky, crispy perfection. It alone is worth the stop and deserves its own fan club. Seriously, get the bacon. Great service, friendly staff! We came for a large breakfast on a Friday. Everyone ordered and the drinks came quick (a round of mimosas) and the food came shortly after. I honestly wasn't thrilled with my avocado toast... it was on a thin piece of bread and lacked flavor. I recently spent a few hours in The Recovery Room and was pleasantly surprised with the unique Martini drink menu. I enjoy a good Martini and the Drinkologist, that's also the proprietor, explained each during the process of ordering my first of a few. I admit that I've always been a creature of habit, ordering your standby Dirty Martini if a middle-top shelf vodka is available. But I wasn't disappointed with any of the selections that were recommended. Although, I doubt you'll find the same drink by the same name elsewhere, so you'll have to settle for something close or just come back to The Recovery Room for a repeat! The food selections are just as unique and probably better for you. At least they taste like they should be better for you by blending different food flavors and textures together. Then nicely presenting to you. And they serve their breakfast items all day long...that's a huge plus in my book! In summary, I will visit to eat and drink in this cozy little restaurant more regularly because it's just a good, out of the norm experience. This is one of our favorite date night places in Jonesboro! They always have great dinner specials. Of all the things I've tried, the lobster ravioli with cream sauce is my favorite! There is often great live music, and we once got tickets to a murder mystery dinner that was super fun. Highly recommend! read more

Great meal and service with 6 other friends -I had the veal and it was delicious. The food service was excellent and the beverage was as well. Finally! A cozy cafe in downtown Jonesboro that "gets it"! I wanted to plead with The Parsonage to stay open a bit longer but now I won't have to. Recovery Room is actually open in the afternoon, unlike its predecessor, One Love People, which closed earlier than expected on consecutive weekends. Also, I found out that it just obtained a liquor license so I can easily see this becoming a good evening wine spot. Haven't had the food yet but the coffee and pastry did the job. The decor is simple yet modern. Good seating arrangement and I appreciate how open the place feels. Interesting little sandwich shop on Main Street. I say interesting partly due to its name and the giant artistic anatomic heart covering a side wall. I'm sure there's a story behind both. I met a friend here for lunch. The ambience is more trendy but still casual. They do offer their sandwiches on gluten free bread otherwise I would have left hungry as the soups and sides (except the cole slaw) weren't GF. The food was not bad. My sandwich was a tad dry but that could have been due to the GF bread. It's a walk up and order at the counter place, just FYI. I've been told they have very good coffee in the mornings, have dinner service and also have live music so I plan to try the again at other times of the day. read more

This place was all around confusing. Is it a coffee shop? Bar? Upscale restaurant? Or a quick bite? The service was okay, not very friendly. If you're a vegan, don't even bother coming here. You'll pay 9.50 for a "veggie wrap" with "what ever vegetables the chef has." (Aka: Roman lettuce and a few sun-dried tomatoes) Overall, this place seems like it's trying hard to be "hip." I decided to give The Recovery Room a try tonight as I love spending time in the Downtown area and I can't imagine having a better meal. Everything from the mixed greens salad that I began my meal with to the strawberry cake and coffee that I finished with was superb. It's a small place with a small menu but the casual coziness of it all really adds to the overall experience for smaller, intimate dinners. I sat at the small bar as I was dining alone and there were couple of large groups already in the dining room when I arrived and Anna, the server, did an exceptionable job of attending to me while still managing the larger groups on her own. If you're looking for fantastic food in a trendy but casual setting that would feel at home in the Downtown of a much larger city, then with a doubt The Recovery Room is the place for you! read more

I debated giving the Recovery Room 4 stars due to their pricing, but I changed my mind. Their coffee is delightful, as is their service. Lacey (possibly spelled incorrectly) was knowledgeable about the menu and coffee. I enjoyed speaking with her. I have so far visited twice, and the first time I was disappointed due to asking for a scone and mid-size cappuccino. I received a small (think of the Starbucks 'tall') and the scone was overwhelmed with chocolate chips, so when I heated it at home it completely fell apart. Today when I went back for a second try, Lacey explained that they usually put the americano and cappuccino in the smaller cup because they have less or no milk. The mocha I bought today was much larger due to me asking for more half/half. Pricing for coffee is not listed on the menu, but the past two times I have visited it has been pricier for Jonesboro. Competitively, you could probably visit Starbucks or one of the various other coffee shops and get the same drink for a couple dollars cheaper, although the quality would be severely different. Alternatively, if this shop was placed in a larger city, I think it would come across as a pleasant surprise that such high quality coffee is so inexpensive. To each their own. I think my issues with the scone was from me being a baker because my boyfriend thought it was wonderful. TLDR: I will more than likely return for the delicious coffee and to try the pastries, but the pricing will probably hinder me from visiting as often as I would like. read more

We each had driven quite a distance from other states to meet in the middle. We did not get to experience any of the food so cannot review to that. I am in town visiting, and was brought to this wonderful place and loved it at first sight! The space manages to feel both urban, trendy and cozy at the same time. The staff is really nice, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was delightful. They didn't have music the night I was there, but there was a stage set up and I think they have live music fairly often. We ran into some other people we know there who had dinner, and they said the food was great. We were just there for dessert, and I think I had the best piece of cake I've ever had at a restaurant. It was pretty much homemade.If I lived in the area, this is definitely the sort of place I would be visiting frequently. I would be very interested in trying their food.
