I went in last july 2022 to cancel my membership and the staff wrote all my info down and said it was taken care of. In august i realized they charged my card again? So i called and the manager said he canceled it again for me.. BUT af the end of the year My accountant informed me that these charges were STILL happening! So i called AGAIN and they swore they would take care of it and i shouldnt have believed them because my accountant said to me today august 1 20223 that i have been getting these charges again. I only have wonderful things to say about this place. We called ahead to get the entire team in for a cryotherapy treatment in between games. We had a bit of a time crunch and we needed the girls to be fresh for the next game. They only had an hour. Cryotherapy allows for quick recovery and boy did it work. We funneled in 15 girls for full body sessions in two machines. Since they were sweaty from their previous game, they had to shed all their clothes for safety (frost bite). Let's talk about A Better You! Love it here. Great place to start your recovery process, especially after some long grueling workouts at the gym. I started with the Cryotherapy, let's just say it's Cold! Lol even though it's cold, it's withstand-able. You're only in for 3 minutes, and you get to watch funny YouTube videos to make the time go by faster. The process of Cryotherapy is exposing the body to -240 degrees Fahrenheit, causing the body to naturally trigger the healing processes in your muscles. Was described to me as an ice bath on steroids. You can definitely feel a relief immediately after coming out of the machine and getting over being cold. After the full body cryotherapy, i did a session of the local body part cryo. This i had done on my lower back. Same process as the full body, but using a tool that can pin point to specific areas of the body. 3-5 minute process. Last i did was the Normatec leg compressions. It's where you put these sleeves on your legs, and it uses air and compression to massage out lactic acid in your legs. They also have the compression for arms and hips. 30-60 min process. You could literally fall asleep in the comfortable recliners they have you lay back in. The most amazing part about this is, the package i just described was ONLY $50! Can't get much better than that. I encourage all to at least try these methods out after some hard workouts. Even if you are recovering from injury/physical therapy; i think it's a great choice. My only wish is that it was another location in the city, like downtown. Either way, it's worth the drive! read more

Love ABY Wellness! They are my go-to place for recovery. The infrared sauna is great for releasing toxins and easing soreness and the whole body cryo is great for any type of pain. This facility was recommended to me by several people for my daughter. We tried it and it has seemed to help her injury. However, some of the staff are extremely rude. When asked what a device is called the male staff member asked if I could read then proceeded to insult me with another snide comment. There is no excuse for rude behavior and poor customer service. I hope the owner can address this issue. We will not be back especially since there are other places that offer this same treatment with better customer service. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I'm from Kentucky so I'd kill to have this somewhere around, but it isn't only the facility that made the experience so pleasant, it was the staff. Albeit, there was only one guy there, he couldn't have been more knowledgeable about what he was talking about, and I seriously don't think it is possible for him to have been nicer. If you are a novice floater, you want to read this. I visited "A Better You" and was so impressed I felt compelled to write this review. No one I know would describe me as relaxed, so I figured that I should at least try a float to see what the experience was like. "A Better You" was an excellent place to start. In my opinion it sets the bar for what a float experience should be like. The location is a little difficult to find, but your GPS or Google maps is a big help. When I got there, the front desk person was very nice. There are no long complicated forms to fill out, just a short digital one, and I was able to get right in with my appointment. Dakota explained the process and was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and private. Gently lit and CLEAN with a rubberized mat for better footing when wet. Nicely appointed, with a lovely shower, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, a washcloth and really plush towels for after your float. The pod is spacious and the temperature was perfect. The pod can be open or closed, lights on or off, and is equipped with a sound system that you can plug a phone into if you want music. They even offer amenities like ear plugs and a float pillow so that you can keep the water out of your ears and your neck relaxed if you struggle with that. You are allotted 90 minutes to use as you wish. (floating or showering, you determine how long) On top of all this, they offer an introductory price of $40 for your first float so you can try it out if you aren't sure this is for you. "A Better You" also offers Cryo and Normatec therapies as well as infrared sauna. They have individual prices or memberships. Overall "A Better You" is an excellent entry into the wellness market. They are a great new addition to the Indianapolis area. read more
