Since I was visiting my parent son OC, I wanted to check this place off my list. There is plenty of parking in the plaza that the gym is located in. There were a lot of people turning into the plaza without looking, so I'd be mindful of when you leave. As other reviews have mentioned, this location is very small. Because of its size, it was hard to go about with climbing - we waited or felt as if we were in the way for other climbers. Front desk staff were very sweet. It was clean here and they have etiquette for problems and climbs. It's a bit far out of my way, but it was nice to check out!

Came here today on a whim after visiting the Modjeska House just down the street from this place…read more The gift shop was open and we ended up buying some soap, 2 finger puppets for the kids, and a ENC tucker magnet. The gift shop was a museum too and had lots of interactive exhibits for the kids. We saw live snakes and frogs on display as well. Across the street from the gift shop was the actual sanctuary which is a 0.25 mile loop - you can finish it within 10-15 minutes if you want fast. An amphitheater and bird viewing area is in there as well. The creek was dry when we went but did see a small pond with lots of tadpoles. Also be aware of rattlesnakes as we heard they come out in the summer time. Trail was 80% shaded so was not so hot. Found out that TUCKER was acquired by ENC of Newport Beach in 2022 so you'll see lots of ENC gear in the gift shop. There are essentially 2 ENC locations now - one here and one in Newport Beach. Pretty interesting!

This may be the only indoor playground I've attended that doesn't require store purchased socks. Due to this, it is $20 bucks per kid for an hour but it's worth it. It feels like every time you go to the pool, there is another rule, another restriction, or someone waiting to tell you what you can and cannot do. What used to be a place for families to relax and enjoy the summer now feels overly controlled, stressful, and unwelcoming. I understand the need for reasonable rules, but this has gone way beyond that. The HOA and management have created an environment where residents feel like they are being treated as if they cannot be trusted to follow basic rules. The pool should be an enjoyable community amenity--not a place where families feel constantly monitored and reprimanded. The policies and enforcement this summer have seriously diminished the quality of life and enjoyment of our community. Hopefully, the HOA realizes that residents should actually be able to enjoy the amenities they pay for instead of making them so restrictive that people no longer want to use them

I assume this gym is better staffed during normal use. However, I thought it was way understaffed…read moreand lacked adequate supervision for a bday party. Parents were not pros at identifying the various items out on the floor and it was a minefield to navigate it all so you could easily turn an ankle on equipment. I watched a couple little girls stumble and start crying because of this. The bday had a game that 2 staff members ran but otherwise they were largely absent on the gym floor. There was no instruction, no structure otherwise. Kids wandered between the bounce house to every piece of equipment with total access. As a parent I kept close to my child to help him but I liked other party venues a lot better because they had staff to get involved and show safe ways to use equipment they had put on the floor. On a hot day over 80 degrees there was no a/c except up in the upstairs party room. I was very hot and uncomfortable as were the kids. Thankfully I brought my son's water to keep him hydrated. Everyone was sweaty and gross. Add to that the venue did not require socks, it seemed a ripe environment for athletes foot or other germs to flourish as I did not notice the equipment or mats looked particularly clean. Nobody was cleaning after use either like at other venues. Overall, nice idea but I think staff needs to think about execution of a bday party better. There is a wide variety of equipment but no instruction, little space between the equipment, and random jump boards everywhere that I don't think 5 yr olds were equipped to navigate well.
