We have had a roach problem in our building for several months and during the last treatment, the pest control contractor insulted and berated me for asking questions. She (the manager) was present the entire time and said nothing; she would not even look at me. When I went to see her afterwards, she defended him and told me basically that I had unreasonable expectations because I wanted all the roaches dead, not most of them. She also laughed at me. I have been unable to use my kitchen for months because roaches have been everywhere, including laying eggs inside my dishwasher, to say nothing of the chemicals that have had to be sprayed all around. Mind you, I'm still paying close to $1000 a month while I am unable to prepare food in my own kitchen. This is not the only issue I have had with Avalon. I am now at the point where I am trying to take care of as many things as possible on my own because it is not worth the headache of reporting the issue.

Pet friendly complex as long as you introduce your dog to BJ and let them become friends! She is the only one that works in the office so you get to know her fairly quickly. Phillip is the only maintenance man on the premise and he is by far the best thing about living here! Nothing has ever gone unfixed no matter what the problem is! Will live here until I either get a house or move out of the city!

There was dust covering all the furniture, I spent $200 in cleaning supplies to turn the apartment over myself. there was cat piss in one of the rooms on the bed. Two bedframes were broken. We had no silver trays on our stove under the burner which prevented us from cooking for the first two weeks. My roomates sink was and still is broken despite us being here for a month so she's been having to use mine, there's no lock on the door leading to the patio area which poses a danger for someone breaking in. Our dryer has destroyed 7 articles of clothing of mine including a $200 leather jacket and the rest of the clothes totaling to about $800 in damage. They have also charged me three times for pest control in one months rent despite no one coming to spray the unit. And there is a mysterious gap between my rent and what my fees are in the bill breakdown, and what I'm actually paying. They've overcharged me fees two months in a row with no compensation or regards to reimbursement. Their units look nothing like the model that they show. There's mold in the top of our cabinets in the kitchen. And the printer is always out of ink in the clubhouse. My mom called on my behalf and demanded to speak with a manager and that's the only time that they have been active about helping us out. I wouldn't recommend this property for anybody. We will not be resigning for the next year.

If you enjoy people yelling constantly, throwing beer cans off their balconies and telling you to go fuck your self when you ask them to be quiet, then the Vue is the right shit hole for you!

Their lease allows and encourages tenants to utilize a club-quality sound system at their leisure at any time of day and I mean ANY time with complete disregard and disrespect for their neighbors. Management even acknowledges the problem but does nothing about it due to their binding lease agreement which apparently forces them to incessantly use the sound system. The building looks nice though.
