I lived here for 4 years. The horrible management they act like you're in prison here. The way that they address you, they treat you like a child, they don't never want to help you, they say they're pet friendly, but they have nowhere for your animals. Except for inside your apartment, it takes forever to get any maintenance done. This is supposed to be our forever home and we're completely I am miserable here and I know several other people are, oh yeah, and don't forget, there's a drug dealer on every floor so unless you do methamphetamines, don't bother moving in here. It's full of trespassers and drug dealers they don't allow dogs in the common areas when they say they're pet friendly or animals period even if they're emotionally support, licensed dogs or not. And there's absolutely no parking ever, because all of the people here to hear take Uber all the spots that don't live here and they don't even do nothing about it at night time.So you have to park down the street and walk home read more

Don't trust your family in this apartment complex staff are nice management rude and lacking civility. My Mom was one of the first tenants in the building. She keeps an impeccable apartment and has been asked by management to show her apartment for corporate inspections may times throughout the years.. She is an active until I asked management to knock on her door and they told me it was procedure to call the police. I live in Arizona and it was challenging to reach police. However, I understood and respected their policy. Today my Mom was involved in a minor car accident. Police and EMS treated her at the scene and an officer. Kindly escorted her back to her apartment parking lot, where she discovered a person illegally parked in her paid spot. I made several calls to the staff before me they elevated the call to emergency status. I asked for the tow truck company myself and they refused to give it. They said it is against policy. I asked if one of the many staff members could take a short walk to the parking lot to watch my mom's car while she use the restroom. She was so discombobulated that she accidentally locked her keys and purse in her car. Leave them unattended and she was locked out of the building. I called the apartment manager. They did not come to her aid to let her in the building nor have they called the tow truck company. They were continuing to wait for a Security company to towing. The literally watched while a resident did the decent thing and rendered aid to my and also had someone unlock her car. this who lives on site was rendering manager told her to move her car because she was loitering. Who does that who watches a senior in distress doesn't get out of her office to at least communicate the status of the tow truck or ETA. I continue to make calls and was told I have to call the police which I did. I finally got the tow truck company number who told me much later that no one from the The Reserve management had contacted them. My mom. is 86 years old and I let them know that she is in frail health and they were letting her sit outside in the cold without any staff going out to communicate with her anything about the tow truck or offering her any compassion. You do not want to have your family members in a place like thi..... a long history of unsanitary conditions, infestations, and terrible for seniors. Well, they have made progress in cleaning up. They deeply need to train staff on how to respect and appreciate the seniors who pay their salaries through their rent and other superfluous fees. I am moving my mom out of there as soon as possible. read more

I am renting from the Reserve at Sea-Tac, I moved back in and I have been amazed by the quality of the services that the staff provide for the tenants. Planting pots for the tenants, and even a resource fair. They even listen to me and help with any questions about my concerns, maintenance issues or anything other concerns are being addressed by the staff members. This is the absolute most disgusting, smelly, loud, dangerous, un-managed, filthy, apt bldg I have EVER lived in. Avoid this place at all cost. It's horribly mis-managed, things are always breaking down, the fire alarm goes off CONSTANTLY (get your free report from the SeaTac Fire Dept on how many times they are called there each month). The other tenants are also miserable, unfriendly, and good luck with maintenance because they're useless !!! This place will nickle and dime you for everything, strangers are always roaming the halls, tenants have been attacked inside, rent is constantly going up (to the max allowed by law, and then some), the only place that gets a once a month vacuuming is at the entrance for show only. There is dog crap all over the place and in the summer the smell from the trash room is unbearable. There are physical fights in the parking lot all through the summer and I would not walk alone. The ONLY good thing is that it's close to the Link Rail and Rapid Ride. Move in at your own risk because this place is also a fire trap. read more

I made an appointment to speak with a representative about the rental of a studio apartment. Parking can be and probably is scarce on the average in the immediate area surrounding the complex. When I finally arrived through the lobby door which happened to be unlocked after I found out in the beginning of my meeting that it's supposed to be locked, there are no signs easily visible to let you know how to proceed to get in the front door. It took 5 to 10 minutes for me to decide to take matters in my own hands and knock on what appeared to be an office door/entrance to find out where the specific person I had a meeting with was located! I would think a very professional business would have a handle on visitors coming in and at least greeting them to let them know if there was going to be a wait or not. I had a specific time I was to meet this person who is not present to greet me. Finally, when I did meet her, I made it clear what I needed to no before going on with the meeting so that I would not be wasting my time or there's. After the conversation of what was mandatory for the application process to begin, I asked may we begin to look at the room and then she replied about the one bedroom apartments we were going to look at. I told her specifically in the phone conversation The day before that I was specifically looking for a studio apartment. Once she found out what I wanted she had to go back to the office area and look to see if any of those studio apartments were available. As bad luck would have it, there were none available except for the one bedroom units that she had thought I wanted. This wasted 30 minutes of my time at the complex (not including the time and distance it took for me to drive up and back from home!) and I told her in a polite way that I was disappointed (to say the least and then find out that was all for not!) read more

I was told throughout the touring/choosing an apartment process that my income looked fine, I put a credit card down for the $300 deposit on 5/2, they did not run the charge through until 5/22 and then 3 days later called and told me I made too much money even though my annual income as proved through paystubs, tax form & bank statements was at least 3K below their maximum. No one would tell me what it was that put me over the limit or what criteria are used to determine who qualifies. This happened 5 days before my planned move in date!!!. I had to scramble to find another apartment and spent more money than I budgeted for because of having to change moving dates & provide another set of deposits to my new apartment. However I was told that the $300 deposit would be refunded since they denied me the apartment and figured I would eventually be able to cover the additional expenses when I received the check. This was over 2 months ago and I still have not received the deposit back. Do not apply with them unless you are 110% sure you will meet the financial qualifications. Good luck getting the deposit back if they unexpectedly and arbitrarily deny you the chance to move in. read more

So many wrong things with these apartments !! Call box is always broken, elevator always brakes too, homeless people be hanging out in the stairs, what is very worse about these apartments is there is cockroaches and they don't do anything about it unless you keep bugging them to take care of your unit. There is an emergency alarm that rings just in case there is fire and you HAVE to go through the stairs and NOT THE ELEVATOR , but the alarm goes off constantly, my mother sleeps early and wakes up 4am, that fire alarm be scaring people because they're sleeping and out of nowhere the alarm goes off (it goes off at unexpected times). I've been to this building a total of 4 times. Every time I go their call box is broken. I have a client in this building who would expect that I could call her from the call box and she can buzz me in. Nope, because it never works. I was standing out in the cold and finally got someone's attention from the leasing office. She opened the door, told me she doesn't know why the call box wasn't working, she'll call maintenance and closed the door in my face. No one ever came to help. What kind of service are you offering your residents, treating their guests like that? Crazy. read more

This is bad for a normal senior living! Lots of activities going on after staff goes home (drugs, prostitute, homeless people and who knows). Average the fire alarm goes off twice a month plus bedbugs, roach infestation. The building is no secure at all, a man has accessed to the women's bathroom key, he got inside to do his own business while I was changing my clothes (Imaging that how horrify I were). No matter the complaints normal residents do not live in peace! I would not recommend for your loved ones. I was told that the $300 deposit would be refunded when the lease agreement gets signed. Be aware of this, there will be a carpet and unit cleanings ($260 for my unit) will be taken out of your deposit no matter what (in your lease agreement but no one pointed it out when you signed it). read more

Check with the Seatac Police Dept before renting here, the reserve at Seatac are #1 in 911 calls in the area. Before filling out an application ask to speak with one of the "community tenant liaison members." Bedbugs, roach infestation, the carpets were just cleaned after a year, they were literally black. The tenant liaison committee called a meeting with property managers and their attorney...all were present as well as 20 social workers to address their concerns of verbal abuse of the mentally and handicapped tenants at the hands of the manager. The social workers did their independent investigation and found abuse is rampant among African American tenants at the hands of the manager. Deputy Mayor Peter Kwon took the situation so serious he came late one night and spoke with the tenant liaison committee and is working with the committee. Bravo for him he totally cares about human beings. Elderly tenants are afraid of leaving their homes out of fear they will run into the manager. Other tenants have witnessed the manager screaming in the face of elderly tenants telling them to "shut their mouths" calling residents crackheads, the n-word, 200 complaints have been filed. I'm happy to take my review down in all fairness, once the abuse stops and perpetrator is gone. The last managers of the complex were very good. read more

We really really want to love everything about this place. Found this fancy brand new 55+ senior retirement apartment community for my dad. I like the apartment setup, and my dad is definitely content for now. They are nice and flexible; they work with your situation to make your move-in as smooth as possible. At first glance the square footage may seem small, but the layout simply feels roomy and storage is readily available for cheap, if extra junk room is needed. The community itself is affordable and amazing; it provides an abundance of amenities: controlled access entry, in-unit washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, an abundance of parking, balconies (some overlooking part of Angle Lake), exercise room with a TV and cardio equipment, a game room with a pool table and shuffle board, a TV lounge and social area with a great kitchen in the foyer, a short walking trail around a center rain garden/courtyard park with community grills, a computer room with a library, super close to the light rail transportation, utilities included into your monthly total, easy add-on of DirectTV internet and satellite cable with an extensive sports NFL Sunday ticket package, and let's not forget the 24-hour pool and spa/sauna. They will likely have more community activities, but they are still new and not fully rented out yet. The issue we have is with communication and billing. They now recently added an online portal; hopefully things improve and I can upgrade my review later. The billing is super confusing; nothing is labeled with exactly what the charge is for, everything just reads "recurring charges." Somehow we keep showing short on the rent, yet with no clear idea as to why; It's really frustrating when budgeting tightly on a disabled senior citizen's FIXED budget. Our hope is that billing clarity and communication will improve asap. Hate the feeling of possibly being deceived. Also, charges are all entered on the 1st, yet the rent is due on the 1st. On a tight budget, one needs to know well in advance, not the day of. From the beginning, when my dad went to sign the lease paperwork, they raised the rent from what was initially agreed upon. That was already bad form, but we had already planned and committed to the move. They did step up to attempt to remedy our issues. I was recently told I would be able to move in after they did my credit check and I told them how much I made they reassured me that I would be able to move in mid month. So I moved out of my apt thinking it was a go and then they called and told me year to date I made too much money $100.00 over the limit ,They also explained I could make as much as I wanted AFTER I was already a tenant. With that being said after talking to the management staff I was told there is not enough parking for all the residences that I could pay $90.00 a month to park or the other option was to park at the angle lake park and ride because its OK to park there for 48 hours LOL I asked what happens after that? ( I have coworkers that work 2nd shift and ride the link they have a very hard time finding parking for the afternoon shift ( I wonder why) Other than that It is a very nice place all up to date apt.
