Stayed here for several days for a conference for our store this long weekend. Garage parking is located next door at 645 Prospect Road. The garage has some rather narrow driving and spots too. Reminds me of the parking garages in Germany. The apartment complex here is in a decent location and the layout is much more spacious than a hotel for sure. The rental unit was on the 5th floor. The building is quite big and expansive. Takes about 5-7 minute walk from the garage to the residences and stairs and elevators are on the opposite ends of the garage and the entrance to the apartment. Entry in and out of the garage and into the building complex from the garage requires a white key card. There are lock boxes at the main ramp by the exit or by the rail to the locked doors to the apartment building. The rental unit had two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen and lot area. The floors had big scratches and gouges out of it and the beds were foam and not super comfortable. The pillows were so flat and lacked any support for your head at all. The bathroom light bulb was out and made it fun for showering. There was no coffee maker at all. Odd there were men's pads and surface pads or mats in the bathroom, how random. The towels were thin and hardly soaked up much of anything at all. read more

I have lived here for a few years and I don't have any intentions on moving. The units are cozy but spacious, the neighborhood is active but safe, and the Staff is accommodating and friendly. Daniel, the property manager, and Myia, the assistant property manager are always so pleasant and take pride in taking care of the residents. Lived here for 3 years before moving out and loved every part of it. Staff/Security Staff is very nice and accommodating. Very quick with responses to questions and maintenance requests. Security was friendly and personable. Getting packages was always easy and never had an issue receiving anything. Location This the best location in Cleveland hands down. A block to E. 4th. Less than a 5 min walk to Progressive field and Rocket Mortgage Field house. Can walk to Browns stadium, the flats, and west 6th within 15/20 minutes. Really anything in Cleveland is walkable. Parking off prospect is also really easy (unless there is a game or event going on but you get used to timing that after awhile). Apartment Outstanding value for apartment size and location. I had the best view in all of Cleveland (terminal tower). All the rooms were a good size. Appliances were like new. Amenities Titan's gym is right downstairs and you get a discount for living at 668. Best gym in Cleveland and you don't even have to go outside. I will probably miss this more than anything. I can't overstate the convenience of this. Overall this was an outstanding place to live for the last 3 years and I'm really going to miss living here. Can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a place downtown! read more

What an amazing experience to meet the wonderful staff at the Residence at 668 complex. Everyone was very friendly and exceptionally helpful with the process of moving in our daughter. All maintenance requests were corrected in a timely manner and the office staff went out of their way to provide help and information to us during the move-in process. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for this team. If you are in the market for a beautiful apartment in Cleveland, I HIGHLY recommend looking at the Residence at 668. I love living here! 1 month in and I'm very happy with my decision. Work orders handled within 24 hours of placing the request. Packages are delivered and management has eyes on the packages even though they aren't technically responsible for it. The staff Dan and Lexie are so sweet and welcoming. They make this place feel like home. I do not hesitate to reach out to them with any questions that I have. The staff throughout are always so kind. I currently look funky hours in the medical field and I'm so thankful that this is a quiet building in downtown. I'm able to sleep my weird hours. I feel safe coming in and out of the building. This location is priceless. Only slight downside is parking but the location and the staff definitely make up for it! read more

Chris, the property manager, is terrific and incredibly helpful. Ed & Bob in maintenance, are quick to respond, to the minimal service requests I have had to submit. The building is quiet. Package pick up is painless. The location is one of the best in the city. Close to everything but also far enough away to have a peaceful home experience, and the windows open, which is hard to find in the city. I have been here about 4 years and truly love it. 668 is my absolute favorite apartment I have ever lived in. We moved here back in February 2020 and have loved every moment since. I have lived in five different apartment complexes over the past six years and this has easily been the best. I'll try to consolidate why I like it so much.. 1. Apartment is great for the price, and we even have a patio which is unheard of in the downtown area. 2. Staff is incredible- very helpful, kind, and they truly go above and beyond. 3. The package room is very safe (inside the leasing office), and easily accessible at all hours-- security handles late night packages. 4. Security is very friendly 5. Maintenance is awesome- they handle requests within 24 hours; we actually have a ping pong table on our patio and they even bring back our lost balls, though we have never asked them to 6. QUIET!!!! This is so huge for me as I wake up to any small noise. We used to live on E 4th street and it was SO LOUD because the windows were thin and it's a busy street. Living here is like a dream-- so very quiet yet still in the middle of downtown Cle. 7. Obviously the location is PRIME. Easy walk to see the Browns, Indians, and Cavs. Easy bike ride over to Edgewater (they have bike storage in the basement garage for free). Literally couldn't be better. 668 really feels like home, and I highly recommend it to everyone and anyone. read more

How is there not a listing already for 668?? I've lived here for almost a year and a half now and absolutely love it. I literally fell in love with this building just by looking at pictures and their website online. Once I visited, I knew this was the apartment for me. It's in the heart of downtown Cleveland - and convenient to some pretty amazing things. There are SO many bars and restaurants within walking distance. East 4th street is right around the corner. Warehouse district is across public square and a brief walk (or a short cab ride late at night when you may not feel the safest walking alone). Horseshoe Casino is 2 blocks away. Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena are literally in your backyard and Brown's Stadium is maybe 6 blocks away. I promise... I don't work for 668 or K&D... I just live here and love it! Can you tell?? Anyways, the things that attracted me to the building were of course the location... the fact that it had granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and the fact that there was a washer and dryer in each unit. If you work at Cleveland Clinic, they're a preferred employer so you get a 2.5% discount on each months rent and a decreased security deposit, which is super nice. I'm sure there are more - i think UH is too but I just know about CCF since I work there. There is 24 hour security on site, which makes me feel pretty safe (with the exceptions of the times the security guards are just smoking outside or watching TV in the leasing office) but for the most part, they are sitting at the desk and are looking out for ya! George is definitely my favorite! He is SO friendly, helpful (will grab doors for you when you clearly have a lot in your hands) and will make conversation and actually WANT to hear about your day!! The property manager, Jill, is AWESOME. So HILARIOUS and super friendly. Any time I've had an issue, I've gone to her and she's made sure it has been fixed very promptly. Maintenance people are wonderful too. If you put in an issue, it's (USUALLY) resolved within a day. I did have an issue with my blinds that went on for months but when they realized it wasn't followed up on, they made sure they fixed it right away. Within the building, there's Titan's Gym - a full-size gym that is 24 hours and has outside members as well. The first year of residence, you get free membership then you pay monthly starting your second year. I'd say that's a GREAT deal! Hodges is right downstairs (which is OK.. but I love their patio). And, across from Titans on the prospect side is StoneTown (used to be Nexus Cafe). The only thing I'd change about this place would be my floor plan. There's only one set of big windows to the outside that I can't even open in my living room. It's usually not an issue, except the ventilation isn't the best. But, summers definitely allow for low air conditioning bills since the sun isn't beaming into the whole apartment and spreading heat! Overall, I love this place. They usually have a huge wait list, so be sure to get on it asap if you are even remotely thinking about living here. read more

I have really enjoyed my first 6 months here! The front office, security, and maintenance staff are extremely responsive and very friendly. The on-site garage parking is a valuable perk as well, especially compared to other buildings in the downtown area that don't offer it. I have found the building and its residents to generally be quiet and respectful of one another, something that was important to me as I was searching for a place in the middle of downtown. Between everything mentioned above and the up-to-date amenities within the unit itself, 668 is a hidden gem and a luxury apartment complex that anyone considering downtown should tour! read more

Love this property! Prime location for living downtown with access to both Euclid and Prospect from inside the building. I've lived here for the past 3 years, and plan to keep staying here. The units are cozy and the community is very neighborly like. Maintenance is on top of everything, very helpful, and friendly. My husband & I moved here about a year ago, this place is very beautiful. It's well kelp, the staff I can't say enough about them from a great management team to the 24hr security. We've had small repairs done which maintenance is done within 24hrs thanks guys. I would like to thank K&D for putting together such an awesome team. The amenities is great. Awesome building! Truly the place I've called home for going on 5 years now. I love how easy and convenient living at 668 is. This really is the best downtown location, with an entrance on prospect and Euclid. I feel safe living downtown by myself, and having Titans gym on the first floor is so convenient. Easy to walk to cavs/indians/browns games and all the restaurants. Management is always available and maintenance requests are handled in a timely fashion. Couldn't love this place more! read more

We lived in a two bedroom/ two bath apt. in 668 for just under 2 years. Pro's: Great location, nicely maintained public spaces, new appliances, nice neighbors, preferred employer program. The security staff is friendly and lovely. Titans gym accessible without leaving building. Con's: Terrible customer service by management, monthly parking is expensive for a poorly kept garage, no grocery store nearby (soon Heinen's will be there though), often stuck in lengthy sporting event traffic trying to get into garage On a personal level, I gave this 1 star because the cons far outweighed the pros. I've lived in many apartments and this was by far my worst experience. The office staff/property manager didn't return calls/emails in a timely manner, if at all unless it was to their benefit to do so (ex. we expressed health concerns when we had a moisture buildup that turned into a mushroom in the corner outside the shower). Repairs more typically took a while to addressed (ex. broken grout/tiles from a previous renters water issue took multiple visits and months to get fixed with tiles that don't even match the others), or were not addressed period in at least one case (ex. our dryer took three runs to dry and they never called in someone to address this after numerous requests). Sometimes, our needs were addressed just not consistently. What made it so stressful, is the constant babysitting and following up to get things repaired and completed well. In addition, we'd been out for months (and paid ALL our bills) and hadn't received our security deposit back after multiple requests. We also had collectors after us for close to $400, for a bill that I can't get any response on what it is after at least 5 attempts to contact the staff at 668. (As an update, after months of calls, emails, and a collector contacting us we were able to get our money back) My point being- the staff is very difficult to work with IF/WHEN you have any type of a problem arise. If you have no problems, you'll likely have smooth sailing. It's a shame that customer service is so poor given the location and beauty of the apartments, because it would otherwise be a great place to live! With all the options to live downtown now, however, I don't know if I'd look at this place and deal with the added stress. read more

I lived at 668 a k and d building for 5 years. They allow you to pay your rent online but it must be set for a certain duration. If you set automatic payment for 12 months. It will not gp through on month 13 and on the first day of that month you will receive an eviction notice thretening to evict you in 24-48 hours because your rent is late. Even though you renewed your lease and have been using their online payment that did not remind you to update it. When you move out they will charge you additional for cleaning fees no matter how much effort you put in to cleaning before you move out. If you call to complain they will refer you to a resident resolution line which gives you a voicemail suggesting you send an email to resident@kandd.com which is a dead end email that gets returned to you. I do not recommend renting with this company. read more

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The management that runs this is awful. I put in a maintenance request over a month ago due to water damage and the problem is still not resolved. We have a bigger problem now as there is mold under the tiles. The cleanliness of the common areas is also lacking. For a place that labels itself as luxury apartments, it's anything but. They cut corners on several areas and install low grade flooring and fixtures. There are several other places near by that I would look at first and can't stress enough that this place is not worth the money. read more

I've lived here for just a few months and can't wait to leave. For the price I pay, the building is very unkept and dirty. The hallway carpets are stained very badly and they've stated that they have no intention on cleaning them. The elevators consistently smell of garbage and look as if they haven't been cleaned in months. The garbage in the elevator room is obviously not changed enough. Our garage spots are regularly used for Hodges valet; sometimes we have no spot. You're held up from going into your garage because of the valet line. Our garage door has been missing a window pane of glass for about a month. The new window is setting next to the garage, they're too lazy to do the work; it looks trashy. Our utility bill has increased every single month we've been here: over $250 for a one bedroom apartment. The utility company stated that several people from our building have called about the high prices and K & D has done nothing to look into the issue. Our carpet was very worn with walk paths when we moved in; they refused to replace it. The appliances are stainless steel, but are dented in several places and are an eye sore. The walls and trim have clearly been painted over again and again poorly. Terrible experience to say the least; can't wait to leave. read more

I have been a tenant of the 668 building for almost a year now, and I absolutely love my apartment... however, the utility bills are outrageous! This winter we received utility bills of over $400 for our 1300 sq ft. apartment--and this is pretty consistent in the building! We have spoken to MANY residents in the elevators, and everyone is dealing with the same problem! The sub-metering company is Standard Energy--and they refuse to respond to requests for detailed bills including the per kwh rate! K&D has not been particularly helpful in address the issue with the sub-meter company, and we are currently looking to move out when our lease is up. Be fair warned before you decide to rent here. The apartments are great, but an expensive apartment becomes outrageously expensive once you tack on electric bills that are exorbitant. There is either consumer fraud going on here or price gouging with utilities! Stay away unless this issue is fixed! read more
