This was an amazing place to get away from it all! We had a great time relaxing here. Beds we're comfy, extra blankets and pillows were provided in the closets. The decorations were thought out and added a lovely touch. We had everything we needed supplied in the kitchen. The tv was a smart tv with a few apps like hulu and netflix provided! Tables and chairs outside to eat and enjoy the view. Hot was excellent, very clean and relatively easy to use. Just need to get it going to heat up before you get in. There's a walk out basement that looks like it's going to be worked on next. It had a nice circle drive with gravel parking. Has a cute deli/local shop in the corner of the road you drive in. I highly recommend! University of the South isn't far and has good mountain overlooks. Not a lot to do in the area, but has some restaurants and a piggly wiggly. This is a place to go and relax and get away for sure!

While planning a weekend road trip for a Saturday night concert at The Caverns in early April 2024, I initially spotted this property on one of the popular rental sites. Looking for more info as I noticed the cabins had different themes, I found Camp Swann's website, which offered much better pricing. And I usually prefer to book direct when that's an option. From their listing on one of those rental sites: "Camp Swann is a 50-acre renovated summer camp that has been turned into a fun and whimsical place with uniquely renovated cabins and communal spaces for making memories and exploring the outdoors". And that's an accurate description, maybe even understated. We were in the Swan Lake Cabin and I loved the bold mural-style art on every surface! The decor was so perfectly themed, including the furniture & accessories. Our cabin was quite spacious & well-stocked with almost everything we needed. My only *gripe* is that we would've liked a couple more pillows but I had no idea where on-site management was located since check-in was contactless (which I did appreciate). We definitely plan to return to Camp Swann! The proximity to The Caverns is under 30 minutes so it's a great choice if you're not into the real camping available there (I'm not). I also think this would be a great spot for a girls' weekend or family retreat. We appreciated parking close to the cabin, and also the contactless check-out. Overall, this was a delightful experience!

I have rented cabins in Gatlinburg and other locations on numerous occasions and have never had…read moresuch an awful experience. You must pay a nonrefundable deposit and the very last day before your stay you receive another contract that says basically you will clean up and leave the place exactly as it was even though you are forced to pay an $85 cleaning fee. We also had to be checked out completely by 10:00 AM, definitely not the industry standard and most definitely inconvenient for a family with teenagers. The information given about our stay indicated that they would be monitoring the thermostat to make sure there was no abuse. The cabin has three bedrooms with the loft containing one bedroom and a pull out sofa and we had to use both. It was in an seasonably warm weekend in October and even though I kept setting the thermostat for 70°, whenever I would check it it would be at 72. After sweating it out an entire night because the loft was over 80° even with the thermostat set at 72, I texted the owner and asked her to please stop adjusting the thermostat. She was controlling the temperature of the cabin remotely. Not only is this a violation of the rental laws in the state of Tennessee, the fact that she did not disclose this was unconscionable. The second night my son and husband had to sleep on a couch and recliner in the living room because the loft was entirely uninhabitable. Scarce furnishings, uncomfortable beds and ridiculous check out time and requirements. Do not waste your money.
