We could have not spent this extra money and still used the sauna and hot tubs after hours, I believe. We had the pizza dinner and it was fine, there were no vegetable options to put on our pizza. We observed the sauna overheat to the point of contacting maintenance. There is not a single staff on premise for such emergency. I chatted with what seemed like an AI bot to convince them of the emergency nature, and the sauna was shut down the following day. It took them over 30 minutes to respond to our needs. My partner was slightly burned on their arm and despite informing the property manager, we never received any form of check in with a real person. No financial returns for this lack of amenity. There was a child on premise while we were there. She looked to be inside a work truck? But the girl stared me down and it really ruined the "adults only" resort feel they went for. There is not true privacy here, anyone can see you at anytime it feels. This was disappointing as we were hoping for more privacy and to get away from others. The domes seem to have it worse than the floating mirror cabin. Overall it was a seemingly nice stay, but that is because of our ability to make the best out of anything. There are not guards rails or safety protocols along hiking trails and it's a miracle someone has not been seriously injured at this property. They actively tried to gain another booking before we even checked out. It feels like a place that only cares about their bottom line and money. We will not return. We felt we could spend less money than we did here, even abroad, at a nicer adult only resort.

I first discovered it through seeing a reel on Instagram and immediately knew my friend and I needed to come here! This is truly glamping done right! My tips would be not to arrive here after dark as it is pretty in the middle of nowhere and there is not a lot of street lightning to navigate, so it got a bit spooky. The views from here are truly spectacular though and every day when you wake up it's just incredible to look upon this view! I came here at the beginning of March and as a Midwesterner, it was the perfect getaway during the tail-end of winter where it gets a bit dreary! It seems like this time of year or perhaps in the fall - obviously for all the foliage - would be the ideal times to come because the guest books really made it seem like there are an intense number of bugs during the summer months. A lot of people said that this was still so nice in spite of all of the bugs, but I would rather not have to deal with bugs at all, personally, and when we came here there weren't any and the weather was still perfect for spending time on the expansive deck, swinging in the egg chair, grilling on the grill and reading in one of their Adirondacks, or OF COURSE sitting in your personal hot tub! Everything here was absolutely delightful. There's a mini fridge, a hot plate to cook on, and the COMFIEST BED EVER! My friend and I both never wanted to leave after we showed up here. It's located about 1.5 hours away from Nashville and we had plans to spend a day in Nashville once we got here and another day hiking some of the trails all around this area - there seemed to be plenty - but upon getting here and seeing just how absolutely divine it was and how we had all the amenities needed for a proper R&R kind of weekend, we decided to cancel all plans and just stay here the entire time!! We only ended up leaving once to pick up some pizza and subsisted off of that, the leftovers, and the small grocery run we had done on our way in for the rest of the four days we were there! Absolutely loved this place - a proper glamping experience!

Staying fully booked, as luck would have it, there was an opening for a quick get-a-way in this stunning GeoDome. I mean look at our view! Now, THIS, is how one should go camping, or as they say "Glamping." Yes, this is a plastic tent (Geo Dome) but with amenities: a toilet, shower, bathroom, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, two full sized beds (one bottom, one on top), and a view to die for! Outside there is a two person hot tub, grill, on deck gas fire pit, motion detected lights, and below is a four person set-up with firepit and swings. A few notes: the directions say to not arrive at night and we discovered that to be true (lol). We arrived in the dark and in the rain but after a quick phone call to our host, we found our dome. You do "hike" in and out (about 50 yards) so be prepared to carry everything you need. And if staying in the winter, utilize the space heaters and electric blankets (slept snugly!), this dome is not insulated but again, an amazing experience. Check out the pics! And book NOW! There are several great hikes close by. We did Signal Point to Edwards Point hike which has a swing bridge, waterfall view, and great valley views. Cottage has refrigerator and microwave so it is easy to bring snacks and breakfast. It's not far to restaurants. Looks like a great location for a wedding.

I liked exploring the woods that led to a small waterfall . It smelled so fresh and new because of all the greenery. I felt so far from civilization but wasn't. It was only about $40 a day with water and power hook up. You can get a sewer hookup for $10 more but the dump station is free down the path not too far from the campsites. I am looking forward to returning here. I love the peacefulness and tranquility of the place. I just wish I could of jumped in the lake for a swim but I don't think that is allowed. We checked in in the middle of the night, so we couldn't see much. We knew we had to cross a new bridge and when we did we could make the outline of the cabin, which we already knew was on the smaller size. When we walked in and soaked the place up it seems so much larger inside. The space was so efficiently built that there was a living room, full kitchen and the sleeping area upstairs. By knows means is it Ginormous though. We slept great and the next morning we were treated to the view of horses, sheep, chicken and goats in the pasture back beyond the bridge and field we came in from. We explored the farm over the next couple days and the mountains too. But usually we were happy to come back, sit on the porch and talk or read a book or watch a movie at one point. My dog loved the area and the cabin. He is crate trained and seemed to think of the cabin as one big crate for his "pack". Although I like to mix it up when traveling, I think we may end up staying at the cabin again.

It had a nice circle drive with gravel parking. Has a cute deli/local shop in the corner of the road you drive in. I highly recommend! University of the South isn't far and has good mountain overlooks. Not a lot to do in the area, but has some restaurants and a piggly wiggly. This is a place to go and relax and get away for sure!

What we got was ... the absolute perfect location to spend a night above a 50ft waterfall that lullabied us to bed. A perfect storm came through in the night to maintain that REM. Then a fuller waterfall and a few dozen songbirds to wake us up in the morning. Not even temped to hit the snooze button on that! Mr.Miller's hospitality is superb. He enjoys sharing his creativity, which is impressive, and thanks to it we had a perfect glamper to stay in and have this great experience. We took our time getting up, had some coffee, and drank it on the back deck as we watched the waterfall, yes you read that right ..... waterfall is visible from the glamper, just laying in bed I can lift my head and see it. After morning, coffee we hiked down to the bottom of the falls and soaked in the beauty and the privacy of it.

It's located on Lookout Mountain, which has a ton of historic significance and we enjoyed learning more at the National Park. Rock City is across the street from the Inn and it was also interesting to stroll through. The Inn itself is quaint and cozy. The main building has a few guest rooms but most are in cottages dotted around the property. Ours was sweet and the bed comfy. Our only issue was the TV cable didn't work and wasn't repaired during our trip. The jetted tub also didn't have functioning hot water and it would've taken too long to fill using the shower, so it went unused. Both of these items would've been much welcomed following a very long travel day from the west coast. Overall very nice.

While planning a weekend road trip for a Saturday night concert at The Caverns in early April 2024, I initially spotted this property on one of the popular rental sites. Looking for more info as I noticed the cabins had different themes, I found Camp Swann's website, which offered much better pricing. And I usually prefer to book direct when that's an option. From their listing on one of those rental sites: "Camp Swann is a 50-acre renovated summer camp that has been turned into a fun and whimsical place with uniquely renovated cabins and communal spaces for making memories and exploring the outdoors". And that's an accurate description, maybe even understated. We were in the Swan Lake Cabin and I loved the bold mural-style art on every surface! The decor was so perfectly themed, including the furniture & accessories. Our cabin was quite spacious & well-stocked with almost everything we needed. My only *gripe* is that we would've liked a couple more pillows but I had no idea where on-site management was located since check-in was contactless (which I did appreciate). We definitely plan to return to Camp Swann! The proximity to The Caverns is under 30 minutes so it's a great choice if you're not into the real camping available there (I'm not). I also think this would be a great spot for a girls' weekend or family retreat. We appreciated parking close to the cabin, and also the contactless check-out.
