We have stayed several months and have enjoyed it so much, especially the fall leaves, live concerts and the long-range views. There are lovely trails and views around the lakes, and when we walked to the large waterfall, it was stunning. Our dogs have loved it. The staff has been extremely helpful. Having the store at the front and the free laundry facility has been convenient as well. They are always making improvements and we have felt very lucky to stay here. My experience with Sasquatch Farm was extremely disappointing. I ended up with a reservation that I never confirmed, yet I was still held responsible for it. There were actually two reservation numbers associated with my booking, even though one was never completed because the business entered the wrong dates, forcing me to create a new reservation myself. When our camper had to be repaired, we called well before the stated 24-hour cancellation deadline to cancel. During that call, we were led to believe the reservation would be canceled. Later, we discovered it had not been canceled as requested, and the company refused to issue a refund. When we tried to resolve the situation, the conversation ended abruptly after the owner hung up on us. I have email records showing the confusion over multiple reservations and later correspondence acknowledging that a reservation was canceled only after the fact. The entire process was disorganized, communication was poor, and customer service was frustrating. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone booking here to keep detailed records of every phone call and email, verify any reservation immediately, and obtain written confirmation of any cancellation. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business. read more

The views to the rv park are pretty but the park itself is not big rig friendly. We had site 2 and barely fit. It rained and therefore it was very muddy and wet. We couldn't get in our door without walking through a puddle of sand and water. The turn around does not work when wet and very unlevel for class A motorhomes. There is a dog park in the woods and a pretty lake to fish on. The rocks that you walk and drive on are very large and difficult for small dogs. read more

Totally awesome experience !! Stayed in late October when the leaves were turning. Stunningly beautiful scenerey! The hiking trails to the waterfalls were surely the highlight of our stay. Need to come back in the summer when its warm enough to swim in the lake. Our campsite was large and had full hookups and lightning fast Wifi. Camp store was unique and well stocked with all the necessities. Can't wait to return! read more

We had a pretty good visit this past weekend at the park! We were tent camping with a large group. There was a small issue with the online registration, but they got it figured out. I have seen multiple reviews with similar issues. We had a hard time finding our campsite, as they are not marked. Even when we asked for help, some of the employees were unsure as well. The site was right on the pond- and with a one year old, I wish we had gotten a different site, as it made me very nervous. The site was not really flat in any areas, so we had to get creative when setting up the tent and fire area. The employees were accommodating bringing us firewood that we purchased, along with an additional fire ring. unfortunately, we were unable to park our cars at the site, and had to park a good distance away. they do have nice bathrooms for tent campers only. make sure to get a key from the front for those! There are 15-20 nuisance ducks at the pond which quacked and screamed throughout the night- keeping us all awake multiple times throughout the night. they had a great concert on Saturday night, which was really enjoyable. overall, they keep a very well maintained park! we will love to stay here again, just at a different site! read more

*BEWARE FULL TIME RV'S* First I would like to say the managers of Sasquatch farm are great; they are quick to respond, respectful, and very helpful when you need something. My boyfriend and I came to Sasquatch farms in Feb. 2022 we knew the campground was new, but did not expect it to look like the initial stages of a construction site. The campground road was covered in very large gravel around the size of a soft ball, the first few weeks the water was brown from poor plumbing, and sites were complete mud with sparse grass and the campground did not resemble their website images whatsoever! After clearing things up with management we were happy and content with the resolutions provided, that was until the owner Julie came to visit in March. Since we are full-time RV living and paying a monthly rent, also being out of state with no other resources, we assumed it was okay to do basic maintenance on our vehicle, due to the fact there were uninstalled septic tanks sitting directly in front of our site, no one could really even see our vehicles and the work was completed that same day. We later found that was not the case. While we were out getting groceries we received a phone call from our neighbors saying a woman was in our site taking pictures of our vehicle and RV. The woman proceeded to yell at our neighbor about OUR site, saying that if we didn't stop working on our vehicles and clean up our "trash" (bagged bottles and cans we assumed we could recycle like we did in NY, however we were unaware at the time TN does not recycle) we would be asked to leave. At this point my boyfriend and I have yet to hear about these issues from either the park managers or Julie before our neighbors called us( nor had we've ever even met Julie). After hearing from our neighbors, my boyfriend and I became very confused by the situation since earlier in the day one of the park managers came to ask if we needed any help on the truck. We decided to call Kelly the park manager, while she was very pleasant Julie quickly took the phone from Kelly escalating the situation. Julie began to threaten to call the cops on us while we were trying to be respectful and understand what the situation was. We told Julie that we would be looking for a new site to go to before the end of the week since we are no longer comfortable with the owner, the situation and we did not trust her based on her professionalism. The owner Julie was not pleased by the answer and proceeded to tell us over the phone that we needed to be out of the site immediately upon returning home, mind you this was on a Sunday evening when we have to be at work Monday morning. We explained to her that we live in our RV and at this site full time and have nowhere to go immediately however she didn't care and claimed that we "don't live in our RV full time or live full time at this site" and that we are "just camping" at her campground. Moral of the story I don't believe that Julie fully understands her business, how to manage, or even speak to paying customers. I'm sure if you're looking for a quick weekend getaway it will be fine however I advise you not to spend your money here especially if you are looking for a full time spot. We are upset about being displaced and forced to leave with no place to go but I am more disturbed about Julie professionalism after all of this. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I contacted Sasquatch Farm on August 26th. Their website did not list Pop Up from their menu when making a reservation. I told them I had a pop up and wanted to stay for a month starting Oct 19th. I was told yes, I could stay, just choose RV from the drop down menu. I made my reservation and paid my deposit. 7 weeks later when I arrived after driving over 9 hours to get there, I was told I could not stay. The temperature was going to drop at night and they said they would not have bathrooms available for me to use. They said their bathrooms were in movable trailers and the pipes may freeze. I was shocked. I now had nowhere to live for the next month. I was told I could stay a day while I looked up another place to go. However, there was no phone reception for me to look up a place and I couldn't just stand there making that decision quickly. Plus I had just been told there were no available bathrooms. I had to drive to a hotel and stay for a few days to work things out. It is hard to find a place to stay this time of year. Thinking I was staying there for a month, I had bought supplies I needed that will now be delivered to a state I am no longer in. It has cost me an extra $800 to live this month. I have yet to receive an apology from the owner. They say that they accommodate all sizes from tents to big rigs. However if you do not have an expensive rig, I suggest you avoid this place. I belong to several camping groups on Facebook and I have already warned them of this place. I have looked at their website and see that they have changed their Reservation set up to include pop up/camper vans and they now warn that the bathrooms may not always be available. Luckily I had only put the $100 deposit down and thankfully I did get it returned to me. I would also like to add that I have seen other complaints about the large rocks in the driveway. I will say they were very large and I was afraid one of my tires would get punctured as I left. read more

If you are looking for a quick get away in the area to camp with minimal outside distractions this may be what you are looking for. However my husband and I are full time RV living and we started staying there the end of January-February and had an awful experience. While the camp ground hosts/ management is extremely helpful and quick to respond I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying there for very long as it is extremely over priced for what you get. We had to pay $750 monthly for a campground, where for the first two weeks our our stay, our water was BROWN due to constant plumbing issues. The entire campground is a construction site, full of uninstall materials such as pipes, septic tanks and more. The driveways and parking areas where covered in cat head rocks that, in the short time my husband and I stayed there, we blew 5 tires between the two of us. We asked the management to speak to the owner about the rocks and the damage done to our vehicle, as we had new vehicles with brand new sets of tires on them, but she never responded to the situation whatsoever. The images on the website looks nothing like the actual camp ground as there is hardly any grass and is mostly mud and clay at all the sites. When we first arrived they told us that there was no septic at the sites however they would be able to help dispose of black tank fluids, they did not. We had people with off leash dogs in our site constantly, and even a man walking around with a flashlight in our site and the ones next to us at 9pm. What really turned us away was when the owner Julie came to visit in March, we saw her in our neighbors site taking pictures of their site and vehicles. When I saw her I politely let her know that I had seen them leave earlier that afternoon and that our neighbors were not home. Julie procedure to yell at my husband and I about our neighbors site that they needed to rectify certain issues, such as them doing maintenance on their vehicle early that morning, and the pop cans that were bagged outside their door. We were extremely taken back by her tone of voice towards us when we simply were letting her know that the neighbors were not home at the time. We let the neighbors know that she had been there and what she said to us, when they got back that afternoon Julie threatened to call the sheriffs and told them that they needed to leave immediately with absolutely no warnings whatsoever. With all of these issues my husband and I felt extremely uncomfortable continuing to stay here as our first month or so had been a horrible experience. read more
