It really has been a great place to live.I'm not sure why people complain about the "cheap materials" and thin walls since that's not a broadstone issue but an apartment living issue, if you don't want to hear your next door neighbor or can't stand the kids above you stomping around, move to a house. I only had one maintenance issue and it was taken care of the next morning while I was at work. The office staff is nice and helpful, never had issues with them. The community is very quiet, always kept clean and there is parking everywhere. The only three things that kept me from giving this place 5 stars are 1) I had a lot of issues with their garages. I had to move my stuff 3 times because they are humid and moldy. I'm not sure if they are all like that or I just had bad luck with them. 2) They do not have a car wash or a hose bib anywhere. That's not a huge deal but having a kayak, I would have loved a place to wash it down and 3) the location in front of the high school makes for a miserable morning commute. Overall if you're looking for a great apartment complex in this area, you should consider this place. Call them up and inquire about their current deals, I got $100 off knocked off my rent and a free month as well when I signed my lease. I will update my review if have any issues with the moving out process, but let's hope not!

Today was a perfect day to write this review. I called the office and left a vmail asking for a tin of paint so I could touch up some walls in my place, after 7 years it's was time lol. They had offered to repaint my whole apartment when I renewed the lease end of last year. But it would be work, moving furniture etc so I politely declined and said I would touch up heavy traffic areas myself eventually. I decided this week would be a good time. So one hour, not even, after leaving the voicemail. Katie the Assistant Manager had returned my call and Dennis the Maintenance Manager had promptly left the paint on my door step. This is how they have ALWAYS treated me here, the team are amazing, friendly, always professional and more than anything make me feel this is my home Always! Although it was fixed eventually, the apartment failed to answer the phone and even the emergency line when we were without water in the evening. Our water heater was making an extremely loud noise during late hours, We were smart enough to turn it off, but for others they panicked and didn't know what to do, so it broke. If there is an emergency line, we should be able to call. There is somewhat of a mold problem. Black Mold would form in our guest bathroom toilet if not cleaned weekly. Red streaks would form in our toilet that we did use frequently, which we found out was some sort of bacteria. The faucet water is not healthy and contains lots of iron after doing some water tests, and the water is very hard. Our sink in the kitchen would constantly leak. The toilets would have a hard time flushing. Overall the plumbing was not the best. Community was kept clean, and they made sure to take care of pets poops and keep people responsible with DNA testing, which was nice. Our main issues was the plumbing and mold. For what we paid, we didn't feel like this place was as high quality as it should of been. Like I said, very pretty , the pool was great, the people at the front are nice, we just had problems and decided to leave.

Yelp made it easy to find the horrible reviews this apartment community has to make an easy decision for others not to move here. Unfortunately I stayed there for more than a year and the staff were never helpful or supportive. There is a large pond behind the property filled with alligators, next to the tennis courts where drug use goes unnoticed. There's a walkway along the pond which can be dangerous for muggings. The property gates are always broken making it difficult to walk to Upper Trail park. Parking is never available and theres a scheme to collect more money for tenants to pay more money for a spot and they make you always park at the back of the property. It has a pool centrally located behind the office with a hot tub always broken due to maintenance claiming corporate is not willing to pay for fixes or repairs, a sketch gym that people steal all the weights from. The apartments are built with paper thin walls, and lawns are never maintained. Leaving the Sedona as my lease ended was a nightmare experience and Management (Shane Morgan) charged me for non existent damages and never returned my security deposit. Hoping that it will change one day, I will highly recommend to stay away from the Sedona.

I was living a vacation lifestyle on the outside edge of a dynamic city. These luxury apartments offer 1 to 3 bedrooms with varying layouts. Backside apartments have screened patios, street-facing apartments have solariums. Mine was the smaller 2 bed/2 bath on the top floor with solarium, which viewed sunsets over the pond. Gorgeous kitchens with modern features, granite countertops and black/stainless steel appliances. My vaulted ceilings gave a spacious feeling. The USB ports in the island were a plus. Kitchen sink missing a sprayer was a minus. Other minor quirks; I changed most lightbulbs to soft light as opposed to standard bright white or fluorescent. My building was quiet but the master bathroom walls were paper thin. Without the fan running I could hear my neighbors talking. We didn't have much space for storage so we rented a $60/mo storage room on the property. Built in 2014 so very few maintenance issues. The maintenance hotline was a bit of a process but an efficient way to place an order. I thought the maintenance supervisor was professional and gentlemanlike. We needed garbage disposal, faucet and AC maintenance most often. Sedona is laid out like an oval with gated entries on the left and right sides. My side of the property had ample parking but the other side was overcrowded. I lived close to the side entrance on Santa Lucia Circle, which gave me quick access to the mailboxes, recycling, and W Hillsborough. The leasing office staff was stellar while Claudia and Melissa managed. Office hours were generous, with night shift available till 10 pm every night but Sunday. The clubhouse was often used for resident parties and included a mini home theater and pool table. Sometimes I stopped by for a cup of coffee and used an iMac. Tina was usually around to help me print, scan, and fax. My favorite retreats were the gym and resort-style pool patio with hot tub, two grills, corn hole, lounge chairs and tables. I also loved the short walk to Racetrac and the Nature Center along the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. Walking around the pond where neighbors fed ducklings, and turtles swam about, made my evenings complete. The trail was about a half mile around and well lit at night. Sunsets and rainbows could be breathtaking at times. This community is expensive but the location, amenities, and comfort of a smaller community make it worth every penny. The Sedona is a Richman property, so it won't be passed around to different management companies. They build and upkeep. The only reason we left was to purchase a home.
