Came back thru the end of Sept and was assigned the same site. ( site 26 but all sites in the area probably have the same problem). They had done nothing to fix the issue. This time our A/C would not work. Others around us were running but no surge protector. We didn't want to plug in without ours. The guys finally came and tried several things but could not fix. And they didn't have any other sites so at 7 pm we had to find another place for the night. Got our $ back but had to find new place after very long drive day.

We took our two dogs out and had to carry them back to the RV because they're little feet were full of cockleburs. they do not have hook ups available at the RV sites, as ours had a large extension hose ran from the adjoining site to furnish us with water. Only problem was I didn't have enough time to thoroughly enjoy the park. Manager was attentive and was more than accommodating when we decided we wanted to stay in the additional day, and of course, that day was a holiday so, even though the office was closed, she dressed initiative to put her money in the box. We will definitely stay here every time we bring our camper to Lubbock.

Now, don't get me wrong. This place is quiet despite being mostly line workers, and it's clean (but very dated) but it has very few amenities and is pretty close to a glorified parking lot. The cable is terrible and the WiFi is nonexistent. There is no okay area for kids and very little grass anywhere. The laundry is VERY old and there are few machine. The bathrooms appeared clean but we don't really use them. The woman in the front office can help you with absolutely nothing so don't bother asking her for anything....not exactly sure what her purpose is but she is nice. My BIGGEST issue with this place is the DOG POOP. It everywhere and it's disgusting. Huge piles just everywhere. Their sad little dog play area is full of it, the whole park is full of it. I went to clean up after my dog once and accidentally picked up the wrong little pile of that gives you an idea. It is gross to say the least. It's also right on the main road and not one of these guys pays attention to any kind of speed limit so it's not safe for kids or dogs. If you're driving through and need a quick stop it's fine.

I was greeted with a friendly voice and the reassurance a spot would be available. "Just give me your name, and I'll have a space reserved for you." No credit card number or phone number needed! The grounds are well cared for and clean. There are several full time residents, however unlike some properties, there was no junky "stuff" outside of the rigs like so many other places.
