Wonderful little Rv Park we stayed in lot 77. My daughter did had one had a hard time with her Trailer. They were so helpful gave us a repair facility. The spots are big at level with concrete pads and the amenities is magnificent. The pool is great and the laundry house and shower house manager was the sweetest could be. read more

I recommend this place as a pass through only. Mostly full time residents, lots of parties. Lots of dogs off leash. This place was overall confusing..they gave you a passcode but no access to the regular pool because that requires a card. The bathrooms were clean. The laundry was huge and immaculate. No access to the TV remote in the game room. It was true crime shows the entire time, this place is definitely not set up for kids. Check in was easy. We pulled in no reservations the front desk staff was very nice. Concrete pads pull thru and back in They have 2 pools an adults only , which we went to very nice , very friendly people The shower house and bathrooms are very clean as everything at this camp ground . They do have quite a few full timers here but the areas are spotless . We met a couple of girls who are going to college here and living at the camp ground which is a great idea !! We were tired after driving for 9 hrs so we just ordered pizza from Double Dave's they delivered right to the pool !!! Pizza was delicious Highly recommend this park read more

One of the newer RV resorts in Lubbock (about one year as of this review). So new in fact, that it doesn't even have a Yelp listing so being Elite, I have the pleasure of adding the Business, as well as giving it its first review. Pictures say it all: wide open streets which are important for our 40ft Class A RV. We didn't have a reservation so all their pull-through sites are sold out but they still had plenty of back-in sites with 50amp service. Nice rec center and laundry facility. Nice little pool area. We had the opportunity to stay at the Retreat Rv park from 8/16/25 to 8/18/25. We were in Ash 11 as we wanted to be close to the pool and still have internet. (The other side does not have internet in many sites) The positives for the park is that it is clean, well kept, and sites are nice in size. A few negatives we encountered is the main entrance to enter near the office is a difficult 110 degree tight uphill angled turn from a 50mph BLIND corner, into a parking lot for the main office check in. Also there is no physical gate or security hut at the entrance into the park, even the main office cannot see the gates. This created another negative, as we watched 5 pickup trucks and one sedan, drive through the gate, & proceeded to park at the BBQ area across from the pool and unload 27 people, of which about 18 were kids, all took over the pool and BBQ area, just as my wife and I were thinking about cooling down in the pool. There literally was no room. The kids were as most kids are, loud and having fun, splashing etc which i certainly don't blame them as it was a 105°! But subsequently, we were not able to use these facilities. When I inquired about "day use" the management told me they did not allow it, & when I explained what happened, they shrugged their shoulders. So I would probably advise inquiring if there was going to be any "day use" vehicles and people while you are there, especially on the weekends. The Retreat is located 1 mile from Camping World, so very easy to get supplies. read more

Like everyone else, pleasant check in, nice facility, etc. etc. But when I backed in my camper on a very narrow pad, an overhanging tree ripped the edge of my roof. Now, that was my fault for not making sure I had the clearance, but who the hell would leave a limb in place that would screw up somebodies camper. I had to realign the camper and have it off the pad on the other side to get it into place, but the damage was done. And I don't have a very large camper, in fact it's only 30'. Anyway, went in to warn management about it and the manager just didn't give a rats butt. Her only response was that they didn't trim limbs this time of year. I said you should at least warn people about the hazard ahead of time and put up some kind of warning so it doesn't happen to the next guy. She just walked off. Not even "I'm sorry for your damage". Nothing. So needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth plus a damaged camper roof that's gonna cost me big. So, if you're going to Birch 14, be forewarned, so it doesn't happen to you. The branch looks like it wouldn't be an issue, but you can tell, its hit a few roofs before. Also, the internet sucked and I was close to an antennae. It showed full strength but I couldn't even check my emails, much less browse the Internet. Probably would have had a different take if I hadn't had that one spot. Nice RV park but they need about 1/4 less RV spaces. Not Big Rig friendly. Narrow roads and way too many spaces that when it is full you cannot get into your space. It's as if an engineer that never drove an RV drew up the park. Hard pass...Go to Loop 289 RV park instead. read more

Good park for an overnight stay. There are a ton of full timers at this place but they keep some slots open for short stays. Great pull thru lots for big rigs. Clean pools (one is for 18& over) and a nice grass playground area. We have stopped two separate times for a one night stop over. read more

We lived in the Retreat for 6 months while our home was being built. The facility is immaculately maintained. The roses anre so beautiful ! All the areas are clean, there are adequate dumpsters, which are emptied on a timely basis. The amenities are great, two swimming pools & two laundries with showers & community rooms. The office staff are friendly & helpful. It is very convenient to be able to have FedEx, UPS & Amazon deliveries accepted at the office. The park is pet friendly. The majority of the residents do pick up after their dogs. The The only complaint is the occasional loud truck/motorcycle that is owned by a very few of the residents. read more

GREAT place to kick it! This was a DEAL for $40 a night! It was just as nice as $100 a night that we have stayed at before. Clean power 30/50amp with full hookups. Nice wide roads to maneuver a 40' diesel pusher. Level concrete pads, quite, clean, friendly, full of trees but they were not obstructions and pool. You will not be disappointed. This is an awesome RV park. Clean, easy to get in and out of and well maintained. We have a 43' rig and had absolutely no issues getting in and out. We were in Ash 13 for one night. Good mix of full time and part time campers. Although we were parked in the front part of the park we noticed a brand new area in the back that has covered rig parking. We have already made a reservation for our return trip this weekend. Very satisfied with this park. read more

Worst RV park we have ever stayed in. Claimed to be an RV 'resort'. Full of permanent residents and trailer park lifers. Small 'family pool' 40x 20. Get there and there is a 2 yr old birthday party. 50+ people in this tiny pool, most of which were guests, not paid park visitors. Would have called health department if it had not been a weekend. Management said they had no idea what the maximum occupancy of the pool was and frankly didn't care. No dog park. DONT stay here, park is full of trailer trash, keep moving. read more

Wow! We stayed for one night but we were blown away. Very clean and organized. Very well maintained. Good price for what you get. There are big trees throughout the park, but they are cut back enough to where they are not a problem. The sites are all concrete and level. We did not have the opportunity to utilize the amenities, but they were open and looked clean and maintained too. Those that are long-term are able to decorate their "yards" but everything was well kept and orderly. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend. read more

If your traveling with family this is the perfect place! Kids can freely ride their bikes. the park is shaded and nice. Family bingo on Saturdays is awesome!!!! The gym is clean and perfect for late night workouts. I enjoy working out while doing my laundry!! Be safe pulling in! I use hazards! Also if your looking for showers inside the building they do not have them. But they do have bathrooms! so far our stay has been awesome!!! The staff is amazing also!!!! read more
