We visited Rewind around Halloween and it was such a fun experience. The decorations were really cool and added to the whole nostalgic, playful vibe of the place. You could tell they put a lot of thought into making the space festive and inviting. I never really got into pinball before, but it ended up being fun and something different to try. They also have nostalgic arcade games like Street Fighter and Pac Man, which brought back a lot of memories and were fun for all of us. One of the highlights was their self serve beer system. You get a card that lets you sample different local beers straight from the tap and then pay only for what you drink at the end. I ended up experimenting and mixing some together lol The kids really enjoyed it too, which made the experience even better. It is a great spot for families, and having one clean bathroom on site was definitely appreciated. Overall, Rewind feels like a unique community space where everyone can find something to enjoy. Such a fun spot in the Barlow. Had dinner and happened upon this place. Fun funky interior with a few tables inside and a small back patio outside. Staff was happy to answer questions and show us the ropes. There are self serve beer taps that you get a card for and you can sample as well as serve yourself a small or large pour of whatever you like. There are tons of pinball machines, older videos games, shooting games, etc. Can't speak on a normal day to value but we went on Wednesday where it's all you can play for 4 hours for $20. Great deal and we spent a long while in here playing all the different machines. Great value! We will definitely be back if we are in the area! read more

Blast from the past with a few fun new twists. I personally enjoy the vintage pinball over the new flashy ones but there is something for everyone here. I have a warrior's spirit with a huge competitive drive so it absolutely appeals to me we can now make an account, scan a QR code and track our successes on many of these games now. I wish I had more availability in my schedule to basically live here. Also great choice of drinks and snacks. Tons of nearby (walkable) restaurants. What a cool place to find while exploring Santa Rosa! They have beer on tap here and a lot of old school pinball machines. What a fun concept and perfect addition to The Barlow! We stumbled upon this spot during one of our regular breakfast stops, and we knew we had to come back and check it out. It's open to all ages during the day, but I definitely appreciate that they move to a 21+ setting in the evening. Smaller than I expected, but not crowded (for now). The pour your own beer wall is such a fun experience! Unlike a traditional bar where you order by ounces, you pay for exactly what you pour, and they have a variety of glassware to choose from. Snag a fave or grab some tasters and explore! The games are a lot of fun too. A good variety of classic arcade games and more than a dozen pinball machines. I went here with my boyfriend and the staff was super friendly. They also have a lot of amazing beers on top and a seltzer. That was amazing. The restroom was really clean. We randomly walked into The Rewind as we were walking around in The Barlow and so glad we did. My god you can spend some time here without trying, playing game after game. We had such a blast playing pinball. I grew up with a pinball machine in my house and always loved it. This place brings back all of those wonderful memories. They have several great pinball machines to choose from and dozens of other games to crazy with. Best of all, The Rewind is also a bar. This place was absolutely a pleasant find. It's located in the nook of one of the Barlow buildings so it can be easily missed but it's worth hunting down. Pretty easy to find parking here too. Decent selection of pinball games, including some I can't find elsewhere, but the pricing is kind of ridiculous. $1.50 for most games, even 20 years old ones. $1/play was rare, and some were even $2! This in 2025 when games are almost always $1/play elsewhere, even for brand new releases. Many pinball and arcade games to play. I was impressed how long the game card lasted. This showed that they don't want to nickel and dime you in games but, I've never been a fan of the self serve beer. That's always over priced. Most beers start at $.55 oz so you can do the math. So pumped the North Bay has its own local arcade bar, and in the most perfect location at the Barlow! All of their arcade and pinball machines use a tap card system. You can prepay at the machine by the front door to load up credits. The more credits you buy, the cheaper they are per unit. That makes it easy if you just want to spend a specific amount, or if you maybe want a better deal and would like to play more either with the whole family or across multiple visits. Currently, The Rewind is all ages until 7pm, and ages 21+ after until closing. Some of my favorite machines here are Terminator 2 Judgement Day, Mortal Kombat II, Big Buck Hunter Pro, and TMNT. Can't wait to see what they'll add next! Maybe DDR? I also appreciate that most of the games have attached cupholders or adjacent tables to place your drink between plays. There are also a handful of small high top bar tables and stools to hang at while not playing. Like Region Wine Bar down the street, The Rewind also offers a self serve beverage system. You can open a tab, get a card, and help yourself to the tap handles along the front wall. They offer all types of beer on tap, including local beers, plus other options like hard kombucha and hard cider. There's also a vending machine for sodas and other NA drinks. Beer tastes like sanitizer most times I've been here. I informed the girl working and her response was both "why do you keep coming back" and "oh, all the beer taste like sanitizer? So you've tried all 20 beers?". I was hoping to start a conversation to help the establishment (I really do like this place, and I really do enjoy the variety of beer they have) but holy hell was the one of the weirdest, most off putting responses I've ever had lol. If the owner reads this... the fact that it tastes like sanitizer is a good step, at least people are cleaning the lines, but there are some chlorine based sanitizers that when not flushed properly interacts with the beer leaving a chemically aftertaste. Maybe try flushing the lines with more water and/or using a weaker solution... this is also speaking from experience, I've worked in restaurants and have had similar issues. If you're going to carry great craft beer, gotta make sure you're doing your part as well!! read more

I brought my parents and my husband here to play retro games and after 1 beer the lady at the front who checked us in informed us that my husband and i had been cut off our beer cards. This happened after i passionately lost a pinball game so i asked if that was why i had been cut off but she said it was because i 'spilled beer' at the self serve tap section.... Lot's of pinball and arcade games with projectors playing cartoons and movies. 80's music piped in through Sonos speakers with really fun eclectic art. They have a 20 tap pour wall system with some of the best beers l have seen to date in the area. It is clean good lighting the staff are very friendly and helpful. This charming retro arcade has a lot going for it - the location next to so many great Barlow restaurants is perfect, you can get a card to play with from a touchscreen without interacting with anyone, and they have pizza slices for sale and great brews on tap. They also host Level Up with DJ music on Saturdays from 7:00 - 11:00, playing great music to dance or bop along to. The selection of 80s and 90s hits they played suited the retro vibe and hit the spot. The big flaw that keeps this place from being a five-star arcade for me and will diminish the odds of repeat visits over time is the lack of variety: the machines are about 70-80% pinball by my estimation. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy pinball as much as the next person but after trying a couple of them, the gameplay becomes fairly repetitive. Whether the pinball is Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, or James Bond themed, you're using the exact same motions and levers and gameplay, the rest is window dressing. They have a few cool old arcade games like The Simpsons, a hunting shooter game, but after a little while you're left wanting more games but most of the space is taken up by tons of pinball. If they had a greater ratio of old arcade games (I don't know, Contra, Afterburner, Dig Dug, etc, take your pick), I'd spend 4x the time and money per visit and visit more frequently. Otherwise, you play pinball a couple of times, move onto their handful of actual arcade games, and leave in short order. Also, the $20 minimum to place on a card to play is excessive because of this lack of variety but woud be fine if they had more options besides mostly pinball. read more

This place is located next to the Fern bar in the Barlow. They have pinball machines and also serve beer. When you get there, show your ID purchase a card you swipe it at the self-serve station and it pours you a glass. They charge you by fl oz, no hard liquor just beer. They had a couple IPAs, modelo. They are open pretty late and have a DJ on Friday nights. This place is clean and well-maintained. Recommend for a girls night out or a guys night out it's pretty fun in here. read more
