Both drivers very pleasant to talk to. Car comfortable and seemed clean. No fooling around re: mask -- we wear them and so did driver. Thoughtful re: heat/cool/fresh air. Will be using them again -- no question. However, these Cons: 1. a certain amount of quibbling with the office about size of vehicle we needed, which affected the price we'd be charged by $20-30+ base price. We had 2 people, 2 small roll-aboards (22" carry-on-sized cases) to be checked, a briefcase, and two small carry-on bags that would fit under the airline seat. Our telephone contact tried to insist that we needed an SUV rather than a sedan and asked me to take a photo of the luggage to prove we could fit in the sedan. I did but he still didn't believe it would all fit in the sedan's trunk (I told him it all fit in my Corolla's trunk) and warned me that they wouldn't allow any bags in laps or on seats. Eventually, because we'd already ok'd the sedan and credit-card charge for it, we did get the sedan. Plenty of room for the luggage in the trunk, no problem. ' 2. A small issue, but for the price, it might have been nice for the drivers to help 2 elderly get their luggage from/to the front steps of the house (if not the door in Covid times). But both drivers were otherwise cheery, mindful of our preferences re route, etc. and -- as I said -- we'll use Smurfs again.

He did say it would be around $50. I asked him what he needed if I decided to use service. He said that he needed payment info and to fine tune the instructions. I said I would keep it in mind and hung up. No money was exchanged and no confirmation was sent out. Since I did not receive a good vibe from him, I hired another company. The day of the pick up, he showed up anyway. My employer got in the car thinking it was the reputable company I hired, not Trusted Ride. When the ride was over he asked my boss for payment. My employer was confused as he thought the trip was prepaid. My employer called to let me know what was going on. I spoke with Joseph and told him that I did not hire him, the ride should have never happened and that any instructions would be considered cancelled since nothing was completed. He even had the foresight to swipe my credit card as we were approaching my terminal so that I wouldn't have to waste time after we'd stopped at the door. And in case anyone's wondering, I made my flight. I realize this may be a small business and not always as reliable as cab companies with greater resources, but man did my Waltham Taxi deliver. Asked them to call my cell phone when they arrived at my office building. Ten minutes after they were supposed to pick me up, when I'd been standing in the rain for five, I called them to find out where my taxi was. Turns out, it was sitting in front of a house somewhere (I'd mentioned my office building several times), and hadn't called. When I corrected the address - again - with the dispatcher, he *yelled* at me "He's coming!" and hung up. Nope. I'm now sitting in the backseat, 18 minutes late, and the car is disgusting and reeks of pee and the driver won't roll the windows up (though with this smell, I don't want him to). I am horrified that I've called this taxi service numerous times for clients and consultants for my work, and given the number to friends who aren't local. What's more nope than nope? Because, that. Also, just noticed there's no credit card machine, and when I inquired he said "Cash. Or we have to call it in." Whatever that means. Nooooope. Never ever ever ever EVER again.

About 20 min after arrival, I realized I left my phone in the back of the car. After fortunately getting my hands on a phone, I called Apollo's main number. The person who answered told me he would call the driver and ask the driver to call me. The driver called a few minutes later and said he found the phone, but that he was in the middle of an oil change. When he heard when my train was, he thought for a moment and asked to call me back in a few minutes. He did call me back and said he secured another car and was on his way to South Station to drop off my phone. He got there 10 min before my train departed. At no point did anyone ask me for money to cover the additional trip (but I did anyways). What a great experience. I'm using them from now on!
