Instead, I bought a bag of Tim's Cascade Secret Sauce Potato Chips. I was shocked when the total came out to almost $9. The service was incredibly friendly--the barista taking orders was patient and kind. I ordered my husband a latte with a chocolate chip cookie and got myself a coconut latte. I was a little apprehensive because coconut in a latte can easily turn into a sugary mess, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was nicely balanced: good espresso with just a hint of coconut. We enjoyed our drinks at a picnic table in the dog area. Super relaxing. There is also a gazebo for people to enjoy drinks (non dog area). The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more We stopped at Huxdotter Coffee in North Bend on Friday and ordered a 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, a 16 oz Mango Smoothie, and a ham and cheese croissant through the drive-through. At the window, we received the croissant and the 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, but were handed a 12 oz Mango Smoothie. We immediately pointed out that the drink was the wrong size. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting the order, the employee told us that the order had been entered as a 12 oz drink. We reiterated that we had specifically ordered a 16 oz Mango Smoothie. Instead of saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, we'll remake that for you," we were told that she would have to refund the original charge and then charge us again for the 16 oz drink. Seriously? Apparently, Huxdotter has developed an innovative new approach to customer service: If we make a mistake, the customer gets to fix it. The mistake wasn't ours. We ordered a 16 oz drink, and the employee or the person taking the order entered it incorrectly. Yet instead of taking responsibility for the error and providing the customer service one would reasonably expect, we were essentially given a bureaucratic explanation of why correcting their mistake was going to require additional transactions. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have time to wait around sorting out an issue that should have taken less than a minute to resolve. We simply said, "Never mind," and left. What is especially disappointing is that this wasn't about the cost of a smoothie. It was about how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen. Good businesses acknowledge them, apologize, and make them right. Telling the customer that they have to go through a refund and repurchase process because the business entered the order incorrectly is simply poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that we won't be going back. There are plenty of coffee shops willing to treat their customers better.

The space is also shared with a small boutique/gift shop that fits really well with the LOGE brand. The following morning I ordered a matcha latte to go before heading out of town. It was smooth and not overly sweet. The cafe seems to have a decent selection of coffee and espresso drinks and hotel guests can get complimentary black coffee. Based on the photo of the menu I took, it appears you can also order cocktails.. Staff were helpful and friendly and while prices were about what you would expect for a boutique hotel cafe, I paid for my matcha without much of a second thought. All in all, Iconoclast is a great spot for guests and non guests alike to grab a drink, browse the shop, or just hang out and enjoy the modern yet cozy atmosphere.

This place is very cozy, lots of room (couches, & chairs) to sit, talk, read, work (with computer table & outlets), play a game of sandbox shuffle board, or just chill... Great spot!!
