SO SO disappointed that my FORMER FAVORITE restaurant for baba ganoush no longer apparently makes it like before. It was so good BEFORE that I used to carry it out by the pound. There is NO smokiness to it anymore. So sad. Had some last night...it was ok, but not delicious like before. Nice to be offered a thinner bread though. Won't order this again or carry it out in bulk. Decided to try this spot yesterday while in town and it did not disappoint! The gyros and hummus are fantastic! The staff is friendly and hustles to get orders prepared and delivered to tables. I went there to have falafel as i am a vegeatrian. The person who took order was not particularly friendly. After sometine my meal arrived and next 10 minutes was kind of a painful struggle to me. The bread was tasting sour as if it was kept for days. I thought next bite would be better with the stuff inside and no luck..it turned sour and sour with soggy and tastleless vegetables. I have only been once, and I ordered a Greek salad with no meat, because I wasn't very hungry and because I love Greek salad. It was a below-average Greek salad. The rock is awesome! I have been coming here for four years now as a student. I love their homemade hummus so I almost always get the chicken gyro meat with the hummus plate and pita. Soon good. Just stopped in for lunch. We had gyro/fry special, the rock salad (gyro, chicken, feta, black olive), and the pita/hummus appetizer. Enjoyed the warm pita and hummus with olive oil. Was initially served with only one pita but were asked if we'd like another and accepted. Gyro special and fries were good. Salad came with tzatziki sauce but had to ask for Greek dressing. It doesn't compare to Gyro salad from Gyros Stop in Springfield, but I'd order it again. We would definitely return! read more

My senior year at ISU, this place opened up in their new location and the good thing about this was it was like a 5 minute walk from my apartment on Broadway. This was always part of the hangover recover routine, which consisted of CVS trip to get some Gatorade then Mother Murphys to walk around and then The Rock to get some sustenance.
