    #4 steak and eggs
    Eli T.

I heard raving reviews about this place from some friends who are locals. Went here for some breakfast to see for myself. Nice place very hidden gem feeling, definitely a local hangout off the beaten path. Prices were extremely reasonable, service was fair, and food tasted good. Very typical breakfast/brunch fair, I got the steak and eggs which came with a few oz of sirloin, two eggs, tons of hash browns, and toast. Great deal for $7 dollars the prices cannot be beat!

One of the cheapest breakfast places I've ever been to. Food quality is awesome and our waitress was very kind. Definitely a place where you'd want to be early on the weekends, and could make a tradition out of. The steak was very good despite being thin, and definitely worth only paying $7. Great place!

Everything about this place is fantastic from the service to the food. Our waitress was great and always made sure to check in with us. She was busy but she always knew to let us know that she was getting to us next and she followed through. One of the best parts about this restaurant is cheap breakfast. I've never been to a restaurant where I could get so much food for such a low price. One might think this sounds sketchy, but this place is legit. My friends and I all got a #2 and we loved our meals. Our waitress even asked if my friend's bacon was crispy enough just to make sure we were enjoying our food. I was starving so I couldn't wait for the food t come, but it was worth it. This restaurant takes cash and local checks only so have some cash on you. I can't wait to come back here in the future as this place is delicious and cheap.

What a great community, affordable, and hearty breakfast diner in town! I've heard great things about the food here because of their price. I finally got the chance to come here and try their breakfast and it didn't disappoint. We had the French toast and sausage omelet. The food portion was huge and all tasted really delicious. Especially the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, not overly salty or greasy. Bacon was cooked perfectly too. Noteworthy is their ambiance. The restaurant is full of regulars, from sitting yourself, open kitchen, affordable lunch buffet, and friendly staff. It was packed and full of conversations and calm joy. The restaurant is well decorated with funky and funny stuff. And, they are using environment-freindly paper straws. How cool! :)

I decided to try out Keller's after having an unsatisfactory breakfast at another establishment. I ordered the bacon omelet to compare. It's what a bacon omelet should be. They used real chunks of bacon. The hash browns tasted great. Which was good because the ketchup was gross. It's the cheap stuff that is usually called "Fancy Ketchup." Our waitress wasn't the warmest person I've ever met. I'll take that over bad food at this point. The place as an interesting decor. It's like a granny went to an antique store to decorate her trailer and forgets to dust those nic nacs. It gives the place a special charm. I want to return to try their horseshoe. It's a dish I judge very harshly. How that experience goes, I might update my review.

Bottom Line: If you're looking for something quick , cheap, homestyle that leaves you full without feeling like Shamu... then you're at the right place. This is a standard greasy spoon that is unpretentious, no frills, and a great local spot. If you're the kind of person that has to ask for "special" things and changes to your meals then go somewhere else princess. Don't try for egg whites, or sugar free... go somewhere else. For those of you that like a little more detail... Payment: Cash only. But they do have an ATM. Seating: Seat yourself. No one will tell you how long the wait is. A few stools at the bar, but unless you start going here for awhile I would save those for the regulars. Yes, everyone is a regular but you. The dining area has about 15ish tables... some in the front near the windows with a view of a TV and some in the back. Not good for big groups. Ditch some friends to keep it to 4. Coffee: Good. Nothing fancy, but fresh. Cream and sugar on the table. Service: You're not going here to be pampered people, but you'll get coffee and it will be refilled. You won't sit forever either. You order, you get your food, pretty simple. What did we order? My are you nosey... The #3 which is Biscuits and gravy, eggs, hashbrowns and toast. The hubby ordered this and said the gravy was nice and thick. Likes it better at Garden of Paradise, though a good option in town. Hashbrowns were good, nothing to write home about but you get hashbrowns and they taste like hashbrowns. No complaints. Ordered scrambled eggs and they were obviously fresh, not that out of a milk carton crap. More on the dry side, but I like them that way. The #6 which is 2 small pancakes, definitely homemade and yummy... not perfect circles if you know what i mean. Also came with a choice of meat, I chose bacon and got three perfectly cooked slices, crisy and chewy, a tough combo for most. And scrambled eggs which were as I said closer to dry but that's how i like them anyway. The Damage? #3 plus #6 plus 2 coffees = 8.75 add on a tip and that's a pretty good deal :-)

That said, nothing here blows me away taste, or service-wise. I've never had a bad meal or service issue here either. I considered a demerit this time around for the current prices, but frankly it's the same way everywhere, esp for bfast. The biggest downside is probly the ambiance, which is more on the noisy side based on it being a pretty large place these days and still pretty popular. I can't comment on lunch or dinner because we've never tried it, but the place prized brunch spot mostly by folks middle-aged and up (with more families/kids on the weekends) for its all-around consistency.

We stopped in 2 weeks ago for a cocktail and an app but passed on the food based on the indoor construction noise going on at 6 pm on a Thursday?! And although I enjoy new tech as much as most, in both instances we were also disappointed by failing attempts to incorporate new restaurant technology like the giant automatic drink mixing machine and the kitchen to table food delivery robot -cart. In both instances, I bit my tongue as a Yelper to give them a chance to work out the kinks and figure out what they really want to be. Based on a timely social media post today, I went solo for 'Taco Thursday' and after this 3rd visit, I'm compelled to weigh in. The negatives above have clearly improved - the construction team seems to have moved next door (Aroma, owned by the same guy), the place looked impressively finished, the tech gimmicks were gone as far as I could tell and the bartender today seemed to care and was very personable. Given that the employees have all been different each time we went, I'm hoping this means they've finally latched onto at least a quality cook and server. Hopefully ownership sees the value these employees bring and the trend continues. Besides the employee improvements and the impressive finished renovations the real positive I've now walked away with after 2 actual meals here, is the food. Altho I was told by 2 people that the Malaysian quesadilla is fantastic, I haven't tried one yet. Instead I can tell you that both the wings and the tacos (4 or 5 options each) are really quite authentically good. As for the craft beer, altho there are 20-plus ice cold taps and most popular styles are represented, nothing really stands out - except the daily happy hour prices (see attached pic with the current list of options)! I guess that means both the fork and the froth actually ARE going to be the draw...and at the moment at least, both are quite cost effective! So I'll go 3.4 stars until our next visit - one that will include a quesadilla.

On par with drink prices around town.
