I went there a few days ago to do a bottle redemption; I had a bag full of 7 bottles, but only one bottle was accepted. The rest were rejected. And all the bottles I tried putting in the machines were brands carried by Wegmans (Brisk, Vitamin Water, Snapple, etc), plus they had 5¢ deposits marked on them. I tried feeding them into the machines, but I kept repeatedly getting error messages from the machines. Customer service did squat for me except give me 5¢ for the one bottle that was accepted. Come here for groceries, but go elsewhere for bottle redemption.

Several attention areas have gone unfixed for years. Staff are pleasant. Owners are cheap. If it wasn't the only grocery store in this town (with the exception of Dollar General), I wouldn't expect anyone to shop here.

She then told me that if I didn't have more than 25 things in the cart then I need to put it back. I was absolutely appalled by this because 1. I am very much pregnant and enjoy using the cart to navigate the store. 2. I was only just beginning to shop and hadn't even accumulated much in my cart yet. When I reached the cashier I continued my routine of putting my items on the belt and bringing my cart around. She then put my things in the new cart but told me I wasn't allowed to take the cart because I could carry my things. Let me remind you I am 8 months pregnant and had well over 25 things in my cart. She refused to let me take my cart and told me I could take one small box. I was absolutely disgusted after these encounters with staff. I grabbed my things and left, barely able to carry it all to the car. I guess that I will have to try and find my products at different stores because I will not be returning to this one.
