We stopped by on a weeknight, and there was plenty of parking. They give you a really generous amount of icecream! I ordered a small cone, and it was more than I could eat. The only thing is they don't have too many icecream flavors. Since their chocolate soft serve was out, they recommended the White House cherry. My small cone was only $3.25! Their staff was friendly and prompt. They also serve hot food. I would totally come back again! read more

I came here (my first time) with the family for Father's Day and walked away very impressed! Now, this location is not much of a looker but it works. There is parking on either side of this little shop and several picnic tables surround the order window, which are covered. The staff behind the window were young and friendly. NOTE: They do not accept credit card, cash only!!!! As for the menu, there are the typical grill items but if you are coming here, you want the ice cream treats. They sell a limited selection of Byrne Dairy hard ice cream but they have sundaes, their take on Blizzards (by DQ), as well as soft-serve. We all decided to go for soft-serve varying from small to medium in a regular cone. The portion sizes here, are insane!!! I had a medium soft server twist in a cone and it barely fit through their serving window. Honestly, I would have been more than happy with a small size, but I'm not complaining one bit. The soft-serve tasted amazing! It was very creamy and it kept it's composition: it did not completely melt all over my hand! If you are around the area and are looking to fill up on some traditional soft-serve, I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely try to make it back at least one more time during the Summer. read more

This place is the epitome of small-town charm. The kind of place that has their set of regulars and many first-timers stopping in because of the need for a refreshing sundae on a hot, summer day. Their menu is classic summertime grilling and ice cream favorites. They have burgers, hot dogs, sloppy joe sauce for your hot dogs as well, grilled chicken sandwiches, mac salad, fried sides that are made-to-order and are not sitting in a grilling basket or warmer: mozzarella sticks, onion rings, french fries, and fries with cheese sauce, if you like! One of my new favorites here is their take on Rochester/Western NY's 'garbage plate.' Here it is called the 'Dumpster Dish' and encompasses what many love about this messy concoction. It involves your choice of a burger patty or hot dog, a meat sauce (in the vein of Texas hot/sloppy joe sauce,) fresh-fried fries, & two huge scoops of mac salad, which is homemade at this location. I know that many of their sides are pre-portioned so that they can prepare them in a timely fashion, but also to make sure they're as fresh as possible for you. The prices include sales tax, but they do not accept cards. Only cash, and sometimes check, if necessary, for larger orders. They have their own 'Twin Kiss Sundae' which is a banana boat filled with a giant chunk of brownie, twist ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate sauce, nuts, whipped cream and of course double cherries. They have a small size of this too, if you are not willing to tackle the enormous original! They have a rotation of hard ice cream flavors, don't expect them to have hard vanilla or chocolate all the time, this has been an annoyance for some customers, but they do have chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft-serve ice cream all the time. They make shakes, twisters (McFlurry,) sundaes, floats, banana splits, you name it. They have incredible service, even when local baseball or soccer games can create such an increase in waiting time. Well to start, the service was awful. We waited some time before they even took out orders. Then they were just all around rude. I had seen on facebook that italian sausages were $2 but the price on the counter said $2.50. So I had asked, maybe it had gone up through the day. She rudely replied the sign says 2.50 so thats what it is. The last day of the season special was buy one Sunday and get one for $2. I was charged full price for both. They were made very sloppy. The whipped cream was crooked and running down the side. I wont be returning here. From now on I'll be sticking to dean's. read more

We stopped here after a pretty lousy dinner at Ponderosa down the road in Bath and thank goodness! This little ice-cream stand was a perfect way to end the evening as we headed back to our hotel. Several of us stopped there on Sunday. Boy the woman there was unnecessarily rude to every one of us!!! She was very intimidating and you did not even dare ask her a question because you knew you were going to get a very snotty response! The sundaes she threw together were very sloppy, probably deliberately it seemed. We also overheard her talking to a co-worker and saying it was the first time we had been there all season which was not true. Even if it had been I don't see how that would justify her being a biotch to all of us. All 8 of us were thoroughly disgusted with the service we received ( kept us waiting several minutes b4 she even waited on us and even then told us to go to the other window. She acted like we had made a verbal complaint because of how long it had taken her to get over there to wait on us which we hadn't.
