From the beginning, communication was extremely poor between the attorney, front office staff, and myself. Calls and emails were often not returned, and I was regularly left without updates on my case. There were also issues with paperwork and communications being mishandled. At times, I was told I was being untruthful about not receiving communications, which was frustrating and unprofessional. Documents and emails were also sent improperly, raising concerns about organization and confidentiality. What was most disappointing was feeling like I had to do much of the work myself just to keep my case moving forward. I constantly had to follow up, track information down, and push for progress instead of feeling properly represented and supported. Overall, the experience caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this law office to others seeking workers' compensation representation. They called and text me several times after they heard my cat accident case and kept emailing me to represent me. I provide all the documents and medical records for the last 18 months without any communication to update me. Finally now the lawyer admitted that his paralegal and he himself failed to gather all the documents to the insurance company and told me to find another representative to get good compensation. He admitted that he was busy and did not check my case and never worked on my case nor checked his email or his phones. The day that I left my initial review, in that after his assistant, Ashey, stated she was assaulted by me over the phone. She stated that she was assault, in that due to my stating that I was going to post a negative review. That all Ankin and their in-house medical staff at Parkview Orthopedics are worried about. Their review rating over their client's care. Before my negative review, their doctors pushed and pushed for my having surgery on my spine. A procedure they put off for months. That I needed to be hospitalized. Because of my negative review, their so-called specialist states that my pain and slipped disks w/ pinched nerve is entire psychosomatic. It is now Monday, 28 September 2026, in that I haven't heard from anyone at Ankin Law in five weeks.
