We took a class with Jules at the 8th floor open air room at the Sheraton. Beautiful place aside, Jules was skillful and patient as an instructor. She created a calming, safe and positive space to practice yoga and was helpful with adaptations and explaining reasoning for various poses. Another bonus was all mats and blocks were supplied - one less thing to worry about! We'll definitely seek this business out next time we are on the island. read more

Jenna did a private Yoga lesson for Mo and I can definitely say to anyone that you will definitely get your money's worth ! She's prompt as far as returning calls , detailed oriented when describing what a one on one entails and when the actual yoga session came around she was on time , brought all the equipment needed and very detailed oriented as far as instruction . She was very accommodating to Mo's skill level and was very receptive to questions . I highly recommend Jenna especially for one on one lessons...for sure 5 stars !!! read more

My friend and I attended a special sunset group yoga class that was incredible! The Roming Yogi team alternated teaching during this event. Each teacher was calm and flowed into the poses with grace and positivity. I am looking forward to attending more classes and sunset yoga events. Love the clever play on words R'OM'ing Yogi! Can I give you 5 stars just for that? ;) My husband & I had pre-booked a Sunset Yoga class with The R'OM'ing Yogi since we were going to be on island the Thursday they were having it this month (lucky us!), and we were so glad we did! What's better than yoga outside on the lawn of a beautiful resort with the sound of waves crashing in the distance, and the sun setting as you move through a fun and invigorating Vinyasa flow? Even though we could hear people screaming and clapping nearby at the outdoor bar for Thursday night football, it didn't ruin the ambiance for us at all. In fact, it just added to the playful surroundings of tourists walking by, and the occasional gusts of wind blowing everyone's yoga mats over! If you are a local or visitor, the monthly Sunset Yoga at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas is a treat! (Make sure you don't go to the Westin Kaanapali Resort & Spa, or the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas...yes it can be confusing, but there are 3 different Westins on Maui!) Jenna was our instructor, and she's a gem of an instructor! We really enjoyed her classes (we also took the yoga class the Saturday morning before at the Lululemon in Whaler's Village which she just so happened to also teach that week) and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great yoga class or instructor on the island. Jenna's yoga classes at the Kaanapali resorts are one of the best things to do while on Maui! I took Jenna's classes both at the resorts and in a more private setting. I highly recommend her classes especially the sunrise and sunset ones! She enjoys bringing local artists to her classes to combine music, yoga and the sound of the ocean into a wonderful class. On Mother's Day she organized such an amazing community yoga event at the Maui's Chocolate Factory that I have such fond memories of. During her classes I felt so connected to my body, mind and the Earth as I've never experienced in any other yoga classes before. Take her classes and you won't regret! Thank you Jenna! read more

Having walked by the yoga at the Kaanapali Westin Villas the last few years, I always wondered what it would be like for this 6'2" 57yr old man to try yoga in front of the ocean. This week I found out and have done two Sunrise Yoga classes so far and they've been great! I just began yoga at home three weeks ago and doing it outdoors in front of the ocean has been a great way to keep my new practice going. Jenna was our first instructor and she is great! Very attentive to the individual needs of each of those she's instructing, she helped this beginner with alternative poses that were easier to achieve. Jules was our second instructor and was also very patient with some of my challenges and helped adjust how I was holding my feet or knees during the poses -- I had not had that level of attentiveness at home in the larger yoga classes I have attended. I'm looking forward towards making the R'om'ing Yogi group part of my ongoing Yoga practice while here on-island and will be recommending to the many guests we host at our vacation condo next door at Honua Kai. read more

We found the rOMing yogi through an internet search while staying in Maui. We did the sunrise class with Tasha and absolutely loved it! It was a nice class for breaking a sweat and stretching out while on vacation. We were so happy to find a company that provides this service for visitors and will definitely do it again next time we are in Maui! The only feedback we have otherwise is that we had a difficult time finding the meeting spot but we called the phone number provided on our confirmation email and a representative was helpful in leading us in the right direction. read more

I am loving these outdoor yoga sessions. So nice to hear the ocean and feel the breeze on your face. They supply mats, you just have to show up. I've had 3 different instructors and they've all been wonderful! Can't wait to try the other HIIT classes. read more

The R'om'ing Yogi Jenna is awesome! I have had the opportunity to participate in her yoga classes and HIIT IT classes. Jenna's yoga classes are wonderfully affirming and inspirational, filled with the true essence of Aloha. She does a great job verbally guiding the class participants and demonstrating the various yoga poses. Jenna takes great care to help participants modify poses to suit their experience level - beginner through advanced. I always feel refreshed when I finish Jenna's yoga class. Jenna's HIIT IT classes are a great workout and super invigorating. She explains modifications that participants can make to increase or decrease the intensity level that best suits their needs. If you have a chance to take any of the R'om'ing Yogi's classes, you will be happy that you did. read more

Did 5 sessions with these guys again this year and it was awesome. Don't be afraid if it rains, as they have an indoor location at the Westin as well! Jenna is a great yoga instructor. I went to three of her classes. The Sunset yoga, which is sadly only once a month on the third Thursday and also went to two sessions of the recovery yoga. Each session was very well led, and at a great pace, I never felt rushed. I started practicing about 10 months ago and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any time. I'm a 6'1" 290+ pound guy that needs to work on his flexibility, this was amazing. I learned so much about new techniques. If you are afraid of yoga, give this a try. I booked a guided meditation with Jenna on a recent vacation to Maui. She was always quick with replies when setting up our appointment. It was my first real experience with meditation and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jenna was kind throughout the entire session. I went to a few classes taught by Jenna and I'm so happy I gave them all a try. I did HIIT, Beach Bootcamp, Recovery and Sunset Yoga. Jenna was so welcoming eventhough I was the only person for the HIIT and Bootcamp classes. She was so motivating and encouraging and it was like having my own personal trainer in Paradise!! I also attended her Recovery and Sunset yoga classes and they were fantastic. She was excellent at explaining different ways to do poses/moves as yoga is not something I typically do at home. I am a middle aged woman (still pretty spry though!). Love to be fit, hate to exercise . I have been to multiple, various classes of Jenna's (The R'om'ing Yogi). She is very kind, gentle and doesn't make you feel bad if you can't touch your toes! Or even reach your knees!
