Food & Drinks: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 If you're looking an easy-going place for some drinks and snacks after your day in Lava Hot Springs, this is a great spot to go to. Erica was bartending when my friend and I made the walk up. She was extremely friendly and super helpful. We ordered beer they had on tap as well as a combination of food they had available. The corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, and egg rolls were standard. The garlic fries were deliciously messy and I highly recommend them if you're a garlic lover! The only major downside is they had no hard liquor available. We asked for the $3 shots they had advertised on the chalkboard and she let us know they could only be shots of liqueur. If you're looking for a bar for mixed drinks or true shots, you might want to find a different spot. All in all, this is definitely a spot you'll want to check out if you are visiting the area!

    Nice view!

So, when I was here, in May, we were the only ones, haha. A LOT different than the pictures I am seeing on this site. This place was a reference point for The Centennial Hike that we completed the next day. We hiked up the steps and were the first ones to arrive (off season). We grabbed a couple of drinks and sat in front of the huge open window over the town. To me, the view reminded me of being in Baja California, lots of dirt roads, the architecture, the music, the ambience. I liked it.

We stopped here for a quick drink as we waiting for our rental to be open. Parking was a little wonky, but once we got in it was lovely. There is an indoor space up top and on a Friday afternoon we were the only ones there. Our bartender was super friendly and helpful with info about the area.

Tried to go. Sign and website said open. It was not. No beer for a reward walking all of those steps.

Even better than Ross Park in Poky in terms of maintenance and general cleanliness. In Pocatello the only decent pool is probably at Gold's Gym imo. Some people refer to Ross Park as Gross Park , however maintaining the park in the wilderness takes a lot of effort and is much harder than you think especially if you move to the desert from parts of the world where nature takes care of its own lol and maintaining grass or trees is just a matter of trimming them nicely. Pool seems Ok in Poky it is just changing rooms that are disgusting and gross alright. It does not take that much effort to clean. So by comparison the pool and surrounding area in Indian Springs is admirable. I only noticed few very minor things like the soap dispenser not working in the shower, but I also noticed those showers are not frequently used by many customers. I also noticed here to a great number of people showering before and after pool is a foreign concept. What is the logic? Sharing is caring? Including all the body sweats and odors? Ok... I don't really swim in my clothes so I had no issues with dress code. Some peeps do. Why? You did not mean to and fell into pool? Not sure why, my son likes his swimming shirt but it is not denim it is like specially made one for sensitive skin allegedly protects from harmful uv rays etc. So overall they provide an awesome value for the price when it comes to swimming and we had a lot of fun partying in front you can rent the space for your employee appreciating picnic that is of course if you do appreciate them :) Owners are approachable, facility is maintained and within reasonable distance. Local reservoir by Seagull Bay is an awesome place for boating, but for swimming I'd rather go to Indian Springs due to cleanliness of the water.

My nine year old niece had been swimming in her preferred swim clothes of shorts and a t-shirt, but was asked to get out of the pool. Apparently she could wear those ONLY OVER a traditional female bathing suit (keep in mind this rule was applied to a prepubescent girl). The rule sounded odd, and an adult relative asked if the manager could clarify. The owner came out and was immediately confrontational, "I always have a few rule breakers like you!" "Its a health code, and I won't risk my business for people like you!" and the like we're said while this relative was asking how we could go about renting a traditional swimsuit. He didn't seem to listen to the question being asked about renting a swimsuit. Overhearing the verbal tirade against my relative, I approached. The owner sneered and told me to "move on." I informed him that I would leave the pool and grounds if asked, since that was his right as the owner, but I wouldn't be ordered away from witnessing his conversation with my family member with the way he was addressing her. For whatever reason, in spite of multiple offers to leave the pool if asked, he would not ask me to leave the pool. Instead saying I "would pay even more now" and calling the police. Really? Our entire group realized he would not allow the situation to de-escalate, and we left the pool (although, again, we were never asked to leave). I do not blame the owner for the odd rule, if it exists. I can only speak for his actions, which were distasteful. He had a satisfied smirk on his face as he watched my special needs daughter cry because she didn't understand why we were leaving early. How can anyone smile at the tears of a vulnerable child?! After leaving the pool, I waited on the grounds for the police to arrive. I made my statement, the owner made his statement, and it was determined that no crime was committed. The owner exercised his right to view us as trespassers in the future, and of course we have no desire to return. If you have any expectation of being addressed respectfully and as a peer, rather than being spoken down to like a naughty child, avoid asking management anything.

Male changing rooms were still meh. I mean they were cleaner than I saw them 6 years ago, but still had plenty of broken lockers. If you plan on having a quick shower before or after pool (customary in certain jurisdictions as the human body perspires no matter what you do, pool water has chlorine and some other chemicals to keep it clean and disinfected) there is no way to do it . Shower by the locker room just sprays odd mist at you for half a second from weirdly positioned not adjustable most tiny shower head, the ones closer to the door exit although have better shower heads just spray foul smelling water of unpleasant temperature on you for 1.5 seconds, so I guess if you want to wash hair you'd have to hold the button with your...knee... I know we need to conserve water, but I see new car washes popping up all the time, so I doubt it is the major concern. Kiddie pool is nice for toddlers. The rest is not impressive. Floating area is too tiny for the crowd, water temperature is disagreeable. Actual swimming pool had no room for any swimmers, it is more if you prefer to swim "Soda Springs style", which has nothing in common with swimming, people just socialize being soaked in water. I'd want to see a city size of Pocatello to have a decent community swimming pool, larger in size than the one at the Community Recreation Center, but I'd not hold my breath. First order of business should be, perhaps, to make tennis players adore lighter version of it called pickleball, then switch the baseball players to weaker version of the sport called wiffleball. With all the simplifying and redefining this generation may not win too many wars that are not imaginary. An extra star is for Splash for Dogs event, where at the end of the season they'd allow you to bring a dog and let the dog swim in the pool. One of my dogs seemed to enjoy it, although we did left early as swim diapers for pets were not enforced and I saw way too many other canines defecating in the water.

Within a couple days of delivery we had a leak and we were instructed by Joe Hardy at MC to pull a panel and inspect for the leak. I asked Joe why there was loose fiberglass inside the unit and he informed me that Sundance had changed insulation. I immediately made it clear that we were told the unit would be full foam. We asked to return the tub but Scott wouldn't allow it, they tried to resolve the leak by offering us another unit with fiberglass insulation which we rejected. After getting a regional Sundance Rep involved it was decided we would get a replacement when Sundance converted back to foam insulation. We told them to come get the tub but Scott said they would leave it until the replacement was available. 15 months later Scott calls and says we'll be getting an all new tub new accessories, steps, cover, etc, that we'll have to pay $2312 for the swap(originally told there may be a $400 - $600 upgrade fee when the foam units are produced again). We pushed back and they lowered it to $1312. The original tub had the Extreme cover, and SmartTub pd $1000 for upgrade. Scott said they would take the SmartTub from our old tub and install it on the new tub. The replacement tub was delivered and set up by Chase and his partner, they did a HORRIBLE job!! Chase told me that he didn't have the promised matching steps and that this tub wouldn't have SmartTub. Before he left I decided to hold the $1312 check until those issues were resolved, at that time unaware of what we'd find that evening. We looked at the tub that evening and were shocked at all the things that Chase left in nonworking order. The interior lights would not turn on, two air valves were not functioning, one would barely move and the other would spin out of it's socket. I saw Chase playing with the knob that wouldn't turn while he was filling the tub but I wasn't aware that he was having issues with it until that evening when we inspected it. The cover was not installed correctly, the cover wouldn't seat on the tub rim and was too small for the tub, the skirt was to short to cover the acrylic, all 4 sides had over an inch of acrylic exposed to the sun. Cover strap brackets were mounted at inconsistent measurements, you could see from 30 feet away how crooked they were installed. I don't understand how an installer can walk away from an installation this bad and not say a word. We listed the issues in an email to Scott, Missing SmartTub($1000), wrong cover, air knobs not working, interior lighting not working, missing promised matching steps, etc., and got no response. I contacted Scott again letting him know we'd be out of town for a couple weeks and asked him again to get back with us. Waited almost 3 months(they are a few hours away and only come to our area once a month) and no response from Scott, and no service call. We called and told them to come get the tub and refund our money. Joe Hardy got involved and offered us $7500 of the $15,500 that we paid. After going back and forth with Joe, I contacted the BBB, Joe Hardy responded to the BBB lying about the insulation issue and reaffirming the $7500 refund, or offering to warranty and come fix the tub(this is after 5 months, why weren't they knocking on our door sooner?). We thought about it and decided we'd had enough of the lies and lousy customer service, and concluded we didn't want the stress of dealing with them for another 5 years. They refunded $7500 of the $15,500 and took the tub back. Look for an honest Dealer and consider not buying Sundance either. Sundance customer service offered no assistance other than to tell us to take it up with our reseller.
