Fat Man Bishop's - Juicy grilled chicken breast served fresh with crispy fries at your locally owned East Peoria restaurant.

The chicken was perfectly cooked, incredibly moist, and packed with rich flavor--exactly what a grilled chicken sandwich is supposed to be. No dry, overcooked chicken here. Every bite was satisfying and well-seasoned from start to finish. Sometimes a chicken sandwich doesn't need to be complicated. When the chicken is prepared this well, that's what makes it stand out. Well-balanced, satisfying, and consistently excellent from the first bite to the last. Fatman Bishop's nailed this one. If you're a grilled chicken sandwich fan, this is definitely worth trying. Five stars all the way!

You couldn't even hear the person reading the questions speaking. I realize, that a bar can't control what patrons do. The bartender was very accommodating, and the food was excellent! I would not return for Trivia here. I would return for the food and the service and attention from the bartender! She was outstanding!

Emancipation is a brewery not a lot of people have heard of because it's not close to anything of course. Has a surprising amount of variety on tap and in cans to go. They may not have a whole lot but everything is full of flavor and quenches one's thirst. Even with it being a smaller brewery it still has quite a lot. It's got several of their own beers on tap along with a few others. There's also more cans in a refrigerator. Has the basics along with a few interesting ones. More than just the IPAs and the usual. It's about $7 a pint. The Farmer's Favorite is the IPA and is a pretty good medium one that's crisp and smooth. Has a few things to snack on here. It's about $3 for the Krack Mix. Basically like Chex Mix but it's made locally. They also will let you bring in stuff. Great place that's pretty hard to find the first time going here. It's located on N. 2500 East Rd. a few miles north of Fairbury surrounded by corn fields pretty much. They're closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Our group had a variety of beverages including a mule, red lager, homemade radler, wine, and even a homemade non-alcoholic lemonade. The ambiance is rustic and comfortable. The bartender was friendly and helpful as our group was sampling a few of their offerings before we landed on our orders.

This place seem to have really good from scratch cooking methods and was able to accommodate our crazy allergies. Even at lunch, there was a lot of mood lighting and it was pretty dark. They had a lot of antiques and interesting furniture and decorations. As a family with young kids, I do wish they didn't see us next to the naked bodies in the artwork. It was very distracting for one of my kiddos during lunch. We were helped pretty quickly, but it did take a long time to get our food. Our food was outstanding. Everything was from scratch and it tasted really good. The baby really enjoyed it. This sweet potato fries are amazing. I was confused why the restaurant was so empty but perhaps it's because it takes so long to get your food? Or possibly Peoria I just can't support a nice restaurant like that. I was disappointed that I couldn't eat off the dinner menu. I was really looking forward to a few of the things on that menu. Perhaps next time we can get takeout so the kids won't get so antsy and try some of the dinner menu. Thank you hearth for a lovely lunch that was safe for our family!
