The place was very spacious, clean, and there's a digital jukebox that you can pay for music (otherwise, it is eerily quiet). Restroom was not clean despite it looking like I was the first person in there for the day. My friend ordered a burger and fries. She did not like the taste of the burger and thought the fries were undercooked. I ordered the Dizzy bowl (Wednesday special) which was mashed potatoes topped with corn, cheese, and chicken bites. I thought it was good but I had stomach issues shortly after finishing it. The server was very attentive at first with the drink refills. However, once the food was delivered, she vanished. She disappeared in the back and went out for a break outside. Once she did return, she continuously kept trying to clear off our table despite us not being done. All in all, it was okay. I do not drink alcohol and many places here in the Midwest do not serve sweet tea. I have brought my own sweet tea countless times to restaurants and no one cared... that is until Bellevue Tap. I sat down and the first thing I said was I was here for wings. The lady noticed my tumbler and asked what was in it. I said sweet tea. She then told me I couldn't have that in there. I did not see a sign anywhere that was posted about not bringing outside drinks especially one they did not have on hand. I guess she thought I was going to pick the wings over my sweet tea and well, she was wrong. I got up and left. Before I wrote this review, I googled to see if I was at fault for bringing in my own drink. The only thing I could find was the restaurant could ask me to leave. But I told her I was going to order wings. I thought if I wanted to give them money, they wouldn't care. Like I said, I have lived in the Midwest for 4 years and brought in my own sweet tea to countless places. No one else cared and I even asked if it was ok several times before. I can understand if I was not going to order food or they had sweet tea on hand on why they would tell me not to bring it in. The lesson here...Don't mess with this Bama Boy and his sweet tea!
