Dr. Durkin was expensive compared to the DRs in Miami, but he was worth every penny. I mean, even the surgery bed was HEATED, LOL. They roll out the red carpet. Everyone in the office is kind. I genuinely felt like I was treated like gold. Dr. Durkin also made scheduling my post-op appointments and getting my prescriptions easy. I am only writing this review because I would not want anyone to go elsewhere for their cosmetic work. I am so grateful for Dr. Durkin because anything could happen on that surgery table. I sent the owner this email and he never responded until I called him…read more Dr. Durkin, I am writing to inform you of the extreme unprofessional manner some of your employees displayed on 9/20/24. I came in for some simple botox and fillers with Stephanie. She came in and suggested I needed a neck and face lift. I have never been to an office where the employees come right in sounding like used car salesmen. I let her know that I may be interested when I turn 60. She then quoted me over $3700 for fillers and botox. I simply said, "I have never paid that much. I'll have to think about it." Her price quickly came down to $1400, which is what I have paid in the past for my entire face and lips. But, I received treatment only on my forehead and crowfeet. I then proceed to be prepped for the fillers. Stephanie's assistant tells me that they won't make me look like Nancy Pelosi. I said I hope not because she's in her 80's. I'm only 55. I then asked if you were a Trumper. She then said, "we don't talk politics," which is exactly how it should be. However, she brought up politics. I should have walked out then, but I didn't, unfortunately. Then Stephanie comes in and does the fastest filler job I have ever received. I found it odd, like maybe she was mad because politics were brought up. But, I said nothing. I then proceed to the check out. Stephanie is coming from the reception area and hurried past me without a smile or a thank you or a nice to meet you. I said something to her regarding menopause and she ignored me in a rush. I go to check out and the receptionist tells me I owe $2200. I then have to say that is not what I was quoted, in a room full of patients. It was embarrassing. She then has to go to the back and straighten things out with Stephanie. I paid the $1470 and went on my way. Btw, the ladies in the reception area were very nice and friendly and apologized for the delay when checking out. Well, the fillers don't look good. My inner brows go downwards. It makes me look mad. I simply came in for a "brow lift' and all of this transpired. One might conclude that I was purposely overcharged and treated haphazardly because of some of the comments made, which were provoked by your employee. As a business owner, I would like to know how my employees treat my customers. So, I thought I'd extend the same courtesy to you since a few of my friends referred you. Dr. Durkin said he didn't reply to my email because I didn't asked for a reply. Common sense would tell anyone that a response would be good business practice. But, he called to argue with me! My experience was all so unprofessional.

I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback about my experience at your practice today,…read morebecause I think it's important you know how it felt from the patient's perspective. This was my first time doing something for myself since giving birth, and I had just stopped breastfeeding last week. As you can imagine, emotions are already heightened during this period, and I was really looking forward to this appointment. I had arranged for a babysitter -- my first time leaving the baby -- and planned to get Botox and run one quick errand before heading back home. It felt like a small but meaningful act of self-care. My appointment was scheduled for 11 a.m. I arrived at 10:30 to fill out paperwork and was taken back around 10:50, where numbing cream was applied. But then I sat and waited. After 30 minutes with no update, I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be and was told someone would be right in. I came out again later and got the same response. On the third attempt, I was told they couldn't find the injector. At this point, my limited time with childcare was slipping away, and I was ready to leave. When the injector did arrive (an hour late), there was no introduction, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no apology. Instead, she immediately tried to upsell me on other services. There was no warmth or personal connection -- not even a simple "how are you doing?" or "thanks for your patience." When I expressed my frustration, I was given a brief explanation about her being in a meeting and involved in a clinical trial. I was offered a discount, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I was hoping to feel seen and cared for -- especially in a space I had been excited to make my go-to dermatologist. I'm new to the area and came to your office based on a referral. I was excited to become a regular patient and inquire about laser treatments and other services, but I left feeling deeply disappointed and unimportant. The Botox procedure was done quickly, and while it may turn out fine, the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal -- more like a transaction than patient care. I understand that busy days happen, but I believe how we make people feel matters most. I truly hope this feedback is received in the spirit it's intended -- not as a complaint, but as a reflection on how much a moment like this can mean to a patient, especially during a tender chapter of life.

Great practice. We saw a new Dr actually a PA and she was wonderful. Very thorough with skin checks…read moreand didn't just freeze everything. The nurse said this PA will try and figure out why something is there rather than just spraying it with the freeze solution. Very happy with the visit. So I show up to their office, where they pushed Botox fillers to me at the front counter. I was there for a real medical concern. Got in the exam room, told the nurse my problem, and mentioned I'd like to speak to the doctor about my adult acne as well. The doctor came in for less than 10 minutes, took a quick peak at the cyst, said it was inflamed, not infected and wrote me a prescription. Her assistant put it in the iPad, for 7 days instead of the 10 days doctor had stated twice. Luckily they seemed to get that worked out. She verified my pharmacy and practically pushed me out the door. Never giving me a chance to talk about anything else. I stopped at my pharmacy to pick up my prescription after work, they had not received any prescriptions for me. I called the office, which was closed after 5 until Monday. Great! About 6:30 that night I got a call from advanced dermatology and cosmetics. I was so excited thinking they had gotten my message and were able to send my prescription. But no, it was the scheduling office offering me an earlier appointment than my original scheduled date. She even mentioned they had sent me a text before with a better date. I was fabbergasted! Yes, I got the text, accepted the appointment and had it today. And their doctor failed to send my prescription. This place is a mess, they don't seem to know up from down and can't even finish sending a prescription for their patients. Bit of you want some filler, perhaps then they would give you the time of day. I will never be going back there!
